Imagine not breaking the laws of reality and save scumming until you kick measurehead's phrenologically superior ass.
Miss me with that Race Theory shit
i sat through like 30min of measurehead explaining race theory when i was new to the game. I thought "well its fucked up but hey, i might need it to progress in the game", only for other characters to call me a racist for it lmao
That what I did on my current playthrough. Went full psych and mind with my stats. So I couldn’t fight him or make the jump. So I learned his race theory but couldn’t commit and rejected him. Was pleasantly surprised when he let me in anyway
You have to internalize his race theory and the. Go back to him and reject it. You still have to understand it and put it in your thought cabinet. But you don’t have to act on it even when talking to measurehead
NGL in my blind playthrough, I think I screwed myself. I internalized it, tried to confirm my learning's and failed with measure head, and fear I'll never get past him to the other offices.
At the very least I got that body down thanks to him, and a very needed psyche bonus.
I just got shitfaced and beat his ass using Harry's everlasting hatred for wömen, despite having only a single point in physique.
here's Al-Gul for you, hon.
MEASUREHEAD — “MY PHRENOLOGICAL SUPERIORITY IS NOT MY ONLY POINT OF DOMINANCE OVER THE HAM SANDWICH RACE. *He holds out his left arm for you to see.* NANOMACHINES, AL GUL MAN. THEY HARDEN IN RESPONSE TO PHYSICAL TRAUMA. YOU CANNOT HURT ME.”
I just realized I mistyped "compelling".
VOLITION: *Subdue the regret. Dust yourself off, proceed. You'll get it in the next life, where you don't make mistakes. Do what you can with this one, while you're alive.*
Slight correction, it’s not him pronouncing it wrong, it’s likely meant to be him saying it in arabic, though it should be al-Kuhl. It could be measurheaf getting something wrong, or the writing team getting the translation wrong.
Actually Al-Gul in Arabic means "the ogre" so he could also be referring to it as a monstrosity of a beverage. Knowing that ogres in Arabic cultures and lore are known to take in human slaves for consumption, in the case of alcohol making people fall into addiction and then to their death.
Not exactly ogres Al-Gul translates more to ghoul, which in arab folklore are undead that feast on flesh. The use of it could also come from the misconception that the word Al-Kuhl is related to Al-Gul and that it means body eating spirit. Not sure where the misconception started but it’s interesting.
If there is one thing i can agree with Measurehead its how accuretly diagnosed Harry with schizophrenia, loneliness and lack of sex by the sheer bone structure of his face.
To be fair I think by bone structure he means that members of Harry’s race are predisposed to alcoholism, and that the bone structure makes such alcoholism expected
In my first playthrough I internalized Measurehead's bullshit and then told him directly to his face he's stupid. He still let me through.
Next playthrough I'll do this lmao

Same, and I needed him to take the damn corpse down.
I like internalizing the thought just to go “It’s shit, open the gate”. Least you get a nice conception buff from it

I feel like I tried that in my last playthrough and got softlocked after rejecting his race theory...

Ahhh that makes sense. Cheers.

Damn, that's what happens when you miss the shot? Glad I didn't

Literally me on my second run, I was like “fuck this leaping through destroyed buildings shit, I am going to punch this mother fucker”
Lmaoooooo
That's a nice argument, Senator. Why don't you back it up with your fists?

That volition talk is on point
"However," \*gets his skull smashed in\*
Could never got over how Measurehead pronounces alcohol
**AL-GUL**

SEBUM

he's lying about the bone structure, the alcoholic bloat and The Expression made it clear enough.

internalize this!
a rare harry dub.
Well, it's a harry dub when you actually pass the roll.
I decided i should knock him out when he was specifically racist to my boy Kim
Crossed the line
Now I wanna see Chris Redfield drawn Disco style.
DISCO INFERNO!!!
I was very happy with my choice to try out 5 points in Physical as a first playthrough purely for this moment
Punch racists
My skill was only a 30% chance to work, but I still got it. Unfortunately, I chose the uppercut and saved scumed back to flying roundhouse kick.
I save scummed before I realized I could jump from the roofs or steal a keycard, worth it though
Mr. Measurehead is helping me find my moral compass.
I've got a Giant Ham Sandwich for you. Eat this culinary delight.
In my first playthrough I internalized Measurehead's bullshit and then told him directly to his face he's stupid. He still let me through. Next playthrough I'll do this lmao
