Did not know about that. I was in tram for around 20 minutes and once it got going we got dropped off across from that spot and saw a cop talking to many cast members. Thought that this was the only incident.
I’ll bet it has nothing to do with that. People are already in a state when they get there and little things set some people off. Unfortunately a lot of folks can’t control their emotions booze or not. Prohibition is not the answer.
this could be completely unrelated but a lady who looked scarily similar to her was leaving the swings in DCA screaming how the cast members were ableist and “where is the white man now”. A few cast members chased after her but never saw what happened…
Argument broke out between guests. Security and PD were already following them escorting them to trams but not detaining them. While at trams arguing got more heated, I couldn’t hear exactly what about but I saw a lady attempt to slap or did slap someone and was told to back away, that’s when APD officer stepped in and grabbed her into custody. The man did not like the cop grabbing her so he mouthed off for a bit then charged towards the officer. From there, all the other APD officers stepped in to subdue the guy. In the scuffle, the man sustained a face injury from the takedown and was bleeding. While all this was going on the subdued woman was screaming aloud the whole time. Both were placed under arrest and taken by APD after the man was treated for his injury.
I also saw a woman surrounded by security back at Mickey and Friends who a manager was asking about “if there was any swelling.” Then we got on the tram and pulled up to what was clearly the aftermath at the park.
I was there too for both things! We saw an elderly lady being carried in a stretcher in the park, and then we headed to the trams, and as we waited, we heard a woman screaming profanities and something that sounded like, “Give me back my purse!” I was pretty far away, but I saw two police officers (or maybe security guards?) pin her to the ground. No idea what happened or anything else. I came here to see if anyone knew exactly what happened. Honestly, I’m sad these types of fights are breaking out where there are so many kids around. Thankfully my 8 month old didn’t hear anything and wasn’t aware of what was going on.
I was leaving the Mickey & Friends structure when I saw 2 ambulances and a firetruck roll in, lights and sirens, heading down Disneyland Dr towards the structure. Another firetruck pulled into the Ball Cast Member Lot.
I was walking by as the incident occurred but did not stop to watch. 6:30pm. Ton of security. End of the tram section was already blocked off. Saw a guy violently kicking someone (I’m guessing someone and not something based on his movements) and heard a woman shrieking. Again, security was already all over them so I’m not sure how the guy was still able to kick/fight/whatever he was doing. Honestly quite traumatic considering how little of it I saw.
Edit: maybe not security but CMs which would make sense if they couldn’t really do anything until police arrived.
There was an older lady laying down just off of Main St and a middle aged man next to her. Lots of medical personnel and CM blocking. Around 7pm. Could be for this?
I was just to lighten the mood since all these people don't know to take a joke. Things happen everywhere all the time, so I can't understand why they make such a big deal out of everytime they see a couple of first responders.

I believe I saw on Instagram that there are police at the parking lot tram station and the trams are shut down.
Ah man. That usually only means one thing. I'm surprised they haven't put up net walls or something everywhere yet.

Maybe allowing alcohol in or around the park(s) was a bad idea.
