Giving players varying amounts of xp could potentially lead to some leveling quicker than others. It doesn’t really work in 5e, so better keep xp awards constant between players. Otherwise, it’s a good idea. I advise you check out the description of milestone experience in the DMG. That should give you a good idea of how much xp to give for these quests. What most people describe as milestone leveling is “Story based advancement” in the DMG.

Xp for every level execpt the milestone levels. 5,10,15,20 or uo to the dm so you gotta do something worth the milestone like a obvious quest or a heroic/horrible deed

Not the best idea. If you're going to do XP, then distribute it evenly between the entire party at all times so that they level together. It's a group game, and if the group doesn't advance together, someone's going to get left behind and they will be bitter about it. You're far, far better off to just use milestone. Get a feel for how your story's going to progress; in a prewritten module this is easy because those are already set out by chapters. You know what level they are going in; you know roughly what level they should be at the end, so you set up 'milestones' where it's appropriate to level up, usually when the party completes a major story beat or something else important. Either way, individual leveling is never, ever, a good idea.
