I would, too, but if they brought it back, they'd probably make it another crossover like the "Hornet." Auto manufacturers are just in the business of ruining namesakes now.
I liked it when it first came out but it didn't wear well with me. Don't care for it now. If they'd made it a two door like Chevy did with the Nomad, it might have had more of a 'hook' than just being a 4 door wagon.
Cool, Chrysler should have done it. But I can't stop thinking that some of these are using stolen drivetrains. Buy a cheap 300 with a blown engine, buy a stolen Hellcat for a few grand and swap it all over.
There was a theft ring that was doing exactly this, recently busted. https://www.carscoops.com/2024/05/operation-hellcat-mike-ends-dodge-centric-chop-shop-operation/
I'm pretty sure every hellcat swap comes from stolen parted out hellcats. It crosses my mind every time too. It is bad ass though and I see them all the time for sale. But I can't imagine they are super reliable or put together very well
I'm an old guy, 67, been driving for half a century and never have had a cop want to check the VIN on my car's engine. I've even had the police out to check a vehicle I brought in from out of state to register it and get a new title (a requirement at least in my state) and they've never looked at the engine. If I had an SXT Charger that said it was a V6, I could have had a stolen Hellcat engine under the hood, they've have never known.
I love it! Definitely a hood classic. Why not put some power on it. Would Definitely make a good sleeper. They made the Chrysler 300 SRT8 for like a year or two and discontinued it.
People talking like a hellcat 300c was a missed opportunity by Chrysler. The srt 300c has always been the worst selling model out of all performance models across the company'sinventory. People don't buy this car, especially when the cheaper charger is right there.
Something tells me they may bring a V8 back when they realized they pushed electrification too soon.
The hornet makes it seem so behind on the tech, but we'll see when the charger comes out.
I think it's stupid how they didn't create a hybrid V8 for the ultra high performance models. Toyota has the right idea with the twin turbo iforce hybrid with the Tundras. They have a lot of power, especially in the TRD Pro.
I understand the hurricane has a good amount of power but:
They could have made a new crazy model with the tech they want to use/develop and keep the 6.2L at least. Instant power and torque is cool, but not what people who like these cars want.
Ford is coming out with the super snake and the Corvette ZR1 will be around in the next year or 2.
It has just seemed like 1 bad decision after another with Chrysler lately. Its sad because i used to be a huge Mopar guy. Now it just doesn't seem as fun looking forward to new models.
They nailed it for a while there with the 2nd/3rd gen LX cars and the 2011-20 GC. But that's over.
Nah, it's over. Stellantis spent billions are EV stuff and the Hurricane engines, they basically milked the Hellcat engines as much and as long as they could and now they're stuck.
Tim the Dodge CEO "retired", and apparently, Ralph is going to be retiring soon as well, and they were the 2 biggest reason the 6.2 and 6.4 and the SRT branch got to do what they did. With those 2 gone Stellantis is making it known where they want Dodge to go, hell they even said that they want Alfa Romero to be the star.
They said that they could have made a smaller version of the Challenger and Charger based on the Alfa platform with an updated V8, but decided against it because they didn't want to directly compete with Ford and Chevy.
As I said before, with all the billions they spent on EV and the Hurricanes, they have to make that stuff work or important people are getting fired.
Ford's 5.0 in the Mustang GT currently makes 488 horsepower (and the Dark Horse version makes 500). Naturally aspirated. The current 5.7 hemi makes 395 hp. The 5.0 has 4 valves per cylinder and simply put, that is a bigger advantage than a hemi head.
Nothing you could do to a 2.0 is going to make anywhere near the power. And at such a small displacement the internal friction of a 2.0 V8 would make it inefficient compared to even a 4 valve per cylinder 4 banger.
There were a limited number of 300s with the 392 6.4l but not the Hellcat motor.
One of my salesman at my dealer has a 392 300. It's one of the coolest cars I've ever seen.
This car is owned by a YouTuber(BrickgotKeys) and it’s still going 1 year strong after a getting tune and all the HEAVY beating he’s done to the motor. It really just depends on how you treat the motor.
I’ll definitely take a WB Magnum swapped from the 2023 WB Superbee if I had a choice, more than enough power for a daily, especially with all the shaved weight on how I’d build it. I would go completely CF on all doors & hood, replace the front seats, replace battery & door panels which would save me about 400. So imagine a badass Plum Crazy Widebody Magnum Superbee lowered on the factory 18x11/315 setup and can run high 10s all day long 🔥
They definitely look cool. Saw this one guy on YouTube that built one that was really nice. It was basically a track hawk underneath. I still like the chargers a little more personally.
That's the soul of hot roding for sure. Too bad it's mainly idiots who'll just use it to spin in circles at intersections or cut up and eventually crash going 130 on the highway.
Perfect car. I love the styling, performance, and lower insurance rates since it's titled as a 3.6 v6. I want to see an awd version and how long the drive train will hold up.
What a tank. I think it's great.
Making heavy cars go fast is always dicey though.
Turning and or stopping seem to be the main cause of problems.
Stay safe people. I hate hearing about poles and trees getting in the way of fun times.
Fumbled the bag by stellantis. They also fumbled by not updating the magnum.
Oh dude my father in law has a sick ass Magnum it's awesome
Stay out of his condom drawer!
They made them with a 5.7 Hemi in them tho. So not a huge fumble
They were ahead of their time, i feel like they would do much better in 2024 than 2007 now that everyone wants a hot sedan/crossover
They made them with a 6.4 as well but why not with a hellcat?
Because that was 2007
Huh? They are 6.4 300 made in 2023.
Hellcat came out in 2015. He’s talking about the magnum.
The stopped in 2014 and then did a limited run last year final mic drop
They cancelled it in 08 the ctsv wagon came out in 09 that was the fumble, also the SRT8 had the 6.1 in it.
I ‘d have to agree with Sleepy - they lost major yardage by leaving out the 300 and the Magnum and four-dooring the Charger.
They aren't trying to survive. It's nuts. They have like 4 or 5 of the slowest selling cars every month.
Nobody wants the magnum
Speak for yourself. The magnum was a sweet wagon with potential. But, you know, dodge..
[300C Touring](https://images.app.goo.gl/DvH5kuNj2yFf7qqF9)
Magnum was literally a 300C wagon in Europe but a Dodge here
I’d rather have an updated Magnum than yet another crossover.
I would, too, but if they brought it back, they'd probably make it another crossover like the "Hornet." Auto manufacturers are just in the business of ruining namesakes now.
I’d rather have an updated Magnum than yet another crossover.

Missed opportunity for stellantis.
I don’t see how this services any niche not already covered by the charger, maybe I’m missing something?
You're not lol
My thoughts are I want one
There was a guy on Facebook trying to sell his for $34k
Unfortunately at this time my thoughts are low on there own funds
Damn you didn't see the news? These were all built with stolen parts
Guys are selling these 300s with all stolen hellcat parts for half off original hellcat price so that sounds about right.
I just want the damn srt Pacifica
Hellcat Pacifica please
A Pacificat, oh Grandma and wifeii gonna be fighting on who's driving to the dollar store. The all new Pacificat AWD, it's got a nice ring to it.
My grandpa would buy one, he had the 4.0L Pacifica
Mad scientists are already sharpening their head saws. Please give us a future of ridiculously overpowered people haulers
BIGGEST missed opportunity. Someone needs to do the swap.
Cool, Chrysler should have done it. But I can't stop thinking that some of these are using stolen drivetrains. Buy a cheap 300 with a blown engine, buy a stolen Hellcat for a few grand and swap it all over.
%90 of hellcat swaps are from stolen vehicles
90% of dodges are stolen*
All stolen by EBT holders 😆 🤣 😂 😹
There was a theft ring that was doing exactly this, recently busted. https://www.carscoops.com/2024/05/operation-hellcat-mike-ends-dodge-centric-chop-shop-operation/
And for every one caught, there's a dozen more that are still doing it
I'm pretty sure every hellcat swap comes from stolen parted out hellcats. It crosses my mind every time too. It is bad ass though and I see them all the time for sale. But I can't imagine they are super reliable or put together very well
That's what serial numbers are for
U going to look sus trying to look at someone serial number regardless.
Tell that to all those buying classic numbers matching cars.
The disconnect between the people who are interested in this and the people buying numbers matching cars is larger then your ass crack
I'm an old guy, 67, been driving for half a century and never have had a cop want to check the VIN on my car's engine. If I had an SXT Charger that said it was a V6, I could have had a stolen Hellcat engine under the hood, they've have never known.
Unless it was intentionally the target of an investigation . Stolen car parts rings have been around forever.
Useless
Not when you're advertising a numbers matching classic
Useless
Yeah they all are!!!
Hellcat magnums are way cooler
Junkyard Dave agrees
Anything powered by a Hellcat is cool in my book.
I love it! Definitely a hood classic. Why not put some power on it. Would Definitely make a good sleeper. They made the Chrysler 300 SRT8 for like a year or two and discontinued it.
They brought the “srt8” back under the 300c name, with the 6.4
They lived on in Australia after the US market one was discontinued.
Just get a hellcat charger.. the body styles are so similar. Why go through the extra work?
No one is doing this to have something unique. These swaps are being done to make money off stolen hellcats.
Notable. Never thought of this.
Awesome.
Love the love
Love it, sounds epic
my thoughts are they are my favorite car
Best of both worlds
Less since they busted the theft ring in Texas
People talking like a hellcat 300c was a missed opportunity by Chrysler. The srt 300c has always been the worst selling model out of all performance models across the company'sinventory. People don't buy this car, especially when the cheaper charger is right there.
Luxury with a bullet for a motor
YouTuber Khal SRT has done a few of these and they're absolutely nuts. Love his Demon 170 AWD swapped 300. Thing's mental!
His parts have been from wrecked or stolen that end up on Copart. So legit on his end.
I would have left the badging off but you can't hide the blower whine. Great ride! 😜
My thoughts are the thoughts of any other sane adult: people can do whatever they want with their cars, good for them.
Something tells me they may bring a V8 back when they realized they pushed electrification too soon. The hornet makes it seem so behind on the tech, but we'll see when the charger comes out. Pour one out for the homies.
I’m praying they come out of nowhere and go “WOW HEMI 2.0” and it’s a small displacement but fuel efficient V8 that makes the 5.0 shit its pants
Ford's 5.0 in the Mustang GT currently makes 488 horsepower (and the Dark Horse version makes 500). Naturally aspirated. The current 5.7 hemi makes 395 hp. But smaller cylinders breath better.
Not better than four valves.
Ok...
You missed the point entirely. 2.0 as in upgrade, not displacement lmao
Either way the Coyote 5.0 is already a tough act to follow.
For sure, they need some competition
🐢
I am a fan!
Fucking sexy. And I love classics but man a 300 does something to me.
Is that the guy in Texas that just got popped for stolen helcats for the swaps?
No this car is owned by a YouTuber named BrickgotKeys
Is it legal?
Badass as fuck
A-Ok with me. Fancier and cool vroom vroom kitty 🐱
Cool
Are these all custom or was there an official release at some point? I thought there was a limited number made??
All custom.
There were a limited number of 300s with the 392 6.4l but not the Hellcat motor. One of my salesman at my dealer has a 392 300. It's one of the coolest cars I've ever seen.
My first thought is "where did they procure the engine"?
Love the super whine!!!
It's the same car lol
I need to see someone put one in a Pacifica.
It's sext
They are sickkkkk
So do we remember when the SRT 300 had more h/p than the challenger? The resale value on one of the SRT300s is fucking insane
Until it breaks down in a month.... Definitely not worth it.
This car is owned by a YouTuber(BrickgotKeys) and it’s still going 1 year strong after a getting tune and all the HEAVY beating he’s done to the motor. It really just depends on how you treat the motor.
Probably keeps maintenance. People around here would have already busted the gears or blown a piston or 2.
Should have done a turbo LS instead
Stolen engine right?
Not sure, I just like the car buddy
Was a joke :)
Looks like a mad max car I’m here for it
📈
Chrysler made a handful of 300’s with a 5.7 Hemi in them for 2024.
BAD ASS
im a fan, I wish dodge went back to the ol days pick a car, pick a engine (any engine) I want 1 in my caravan...I love my caravan
Should have made a Hellcat Pacifica.
This should be in production
Ghetto
Tits
Should be mandatory
American Itasha.
I would do it.
Pull up and ima teach the kitty a lesson
Too rich for my blood
Reminds me of Burnout Revenges version of the 300 for some reason.
I miss the Dodge Magnum. Still wanna get one some day to tinker with.
I always thought the 300 would make a sick drift car, plus with a full cage..so sik
Dodge=dumb
That it will have front end damage soon... Way more engine than driver.....
That thing just drank a gallon of gas in that 6 seconds
Would look a lot better with a hood and without the hellcat decal.
Oh I Love, HellCat Swap everything LOL
Sick as hell!!! I need a cigarette! Lol
Always wanted to throw a hellephant in a Jeep.
All that money and can't take it to a track...public roads ftw!!!
It's cool but the CTS-V blackwing is better in almost every way.
Don't put badges on the thing and you'll have a sleeper. Badges and a lot of mufflers and sound deading.
They doing dodge a favor.
Those are absolutely the correct sounds!.
I wouldn’t be complaining, but that’s a lotta money and work for having nearly the same thing
Slattcat
Hell yeah! I’d take that thing drifting just to piss off the JDM and E36 guys.
That’s sick!!
I can’t wait til we all drive electric cars
They definitely look cool. Saw this one guy on YouTube that built one that was really nice. It was basically a track hawk underneath. I still like the chargers a little more personally.
My thoughts? Stolen parts.
That's the soul of hot roding for sure. Too bad it's mainly idiots who'll just use it to spin in circles at intersections or cut up and eventually crash going 130 on the highway.
The Chrysler 300 is from a YouTuber called “Brick got keys”
Imma put on in my Jeep jk
The only way it should be
The missing hoods are kinda meh
Love the idea. Hate the styling on this particular car
Dodge should’ve just done it themselves
Disgusting,
All owners should head straight to jail
Chrysler 300s are trash I wouldn’t be doing this any time soon
I think its a shame these are from stolen vehicles
Need more
Cool idea, this is just a poorly executed, tacky example of it.
Free name idea for Stellantis The Chrysler 700HC (700 referring to horsepower)
I have a 300S and was thinking why not just buy a Hellcat instead of dressing up a 300S to look like one.
Dumb
Yeah but it’s still a Chrysler 300
Perfect car. I love the styling, performance, and lower insurance rates since it's titled as a 3.6 v6. I want to see an awd version and how long the drive train will hold up.
What a tank. I think it's great. Making heavy cars go fast is always dicey though. Turning and or stopping seem to be the main cause of problems. Stay safe people. I hate hearing about poles and trees getting in the way of fun times.
I think they look better then challengers or chargers.
It looks like a poor man’s ghost buster vehicle.
Fucking love this, would love to in my '09 but...
So it’s the same car with different exterior body panels. Does it really matter. No worse than sticking that motor in a 69 Charger
You could use that same point with challenger and charger body panels, just asking peoples opinions buddy.
I think Chrysler should have made it themselves
An option that should have coincided with the Hellcat Charger. The 300 is so much better looking than the Charger
If they're putting then in Jeeps, wtf not a 300
bad credit on wheels
If it had 2 hellcat engines, 4 turbos and made 2000hp it would still be an ugly brick in the wind
Slow..
Douchemobile
It's still gay
Stolen engine, that's my thoughts. And idiots. And fucked up the car scene. And black on black crime.
Still a Chrysler.
Get out
