Roflmao I sat there for a good second going “WTF is a Haruki?!” Then I realized that’s their name lol
I was expecting Husky and malamute but the other two are a slight surprise
> So “not at all what you expected” means 73% expected + 27% unexpected?
No, it’s 100% unexpected. Here’s the proof
Define:
* A: Malamute (M) • GSD (G), the expected (E) breeds
* B: Husky (H) • Samoyed (S), the unexpected (~E) breeds
Given:
* A→ E
* B→ ~E • ~A
* A ∪ ~A → ~E
To prove:
The presence of H and S alongside M and G constitutes "not at all what I expected" (equivalent to 100% unexpected).
Logical Steps:
1. A → E (M • G)
2. B → ~E (H • S)
3. A ∪ B→ ∼E (M • G • H • S)
Therefore, the presence of Husky and Samoyed in addition to Malamute and GSD makes the overall outcome "~E," signifying it is "not at all what I expected," as it deviates completely from the initially expected breeds (M and G alone).
Edit: Okay, now that I’ve wasted 15 minutes trying to fire up neurons I haven’t used since freshman year of college all for the sake of making a useless Reddit comment, maybe I can find something better to do with my time. Lol
You didn't state which breeds you originally expected. I assumed that you expected husky and samoyed. I was simply surprised by the title as it seemed as expected.
This comment and your previous one is everything I love about reddit and *almost* makes me want to dust off the Quine book still on my shelf. . Almost.
Haha I’m so glad someone appreciates it. I have a Quine book I haven’t opened in years, but I need to get back into reading *Gödel, Escher, Bach* which I started 6 months ago and planned on reading daily until I finished it, but I stopped somewhere in the third chapter. I’ve been thinking of getting back into doing some daily philosophy reading and/or logic puzzles. Keeps my mind sharp.
That’s awesome! I can’t believe I found another GEB fan in this sub. Since we seem to have similar tastes, are you reading anything atm and do you have any recommendations on books/audiobooks, podcasts, YT channels, films or articles I might like?
As a kid I was obsessed with this optical illusions book I had and loved Escher paintings. I was also a big fan of classical music as a kid (everyone thought I was snobby). I’m trying to get more into working the philosophy/math side of my brain on a regular basis.
GEB is pretty unique, but you would probably love Richard Feynman's autobiographies and Six Easy Pieces and Six Not So Easy Pieces. I also loved Mathematics - From the Birth of Numbers by Gullberg, A Tour of the Calculus by Berlinski, I think.
Thinking Fast and Slow by Kahneman
Joshua Bell is a virtuoso violinist any his album Romancing The Violin is magic. There's also a fun article by the Washington Pearl Before Breakfast or something like that about a social experiment Bell did with his Stradavarius in DC.
Philosophy- Heidegger's Being and Time. Quine's Method of Logic and, also, Philosophy of Logic.
The Mind's I by Hoftstadter.
Finite and Infinite games by .. shoot, can't remember. Kars? Cares? Something like that.
I'll think about other suggestions, too!
Thank you so much! I added these to my reading list and will check them out. I really appreciate this. If you come up with any more recs please feel free to reply with them. Also, which should I start with?
Looks like the Native American Indian Dog , they tried to bring back the breed so to speak with certain mixes. Some have wolf though. Not a recognized breed per se but these are the typical breeds used to make it

I was expecting more Malamute and didn't see the GSD at all. Pretty dog
Thanks :D! I know right? I wasn't expecting anything else than Mal.
You got the arctic breed sampler pack!
> I wasn't expecting anything else than Mal. Malamutes don't have blue eyes - that's the big clue that there is some husky in there. :)
Oh yes, I was expecting a little bit of Mal %. Sorry I worded it poorly.
The coat colour in the second picture briefly suggested GsD to me. Otherwise, Husky all the way.

New designer dog just dropped! Haruki = Harrier / Saluki 😎
Dear god that would be a cracked out mess lol
Imagine trying to train that dog 😂
I’d have to say it like I was in Street Fighter 😂😂😂😂
Hahahaha I think that's a fair question! xD
It’s sounds like some random obscure breed lol
Hahaha! Same I actually Googled "Haruki dog" 🤭🤫😭
At least I’m not alone! Idk why this one confused me like that. I probably have seen a hundred or more of these and never had that happen before 😂😂😂
So "not at all what you expected" means 73% expected + 27% unexpected? In any case, very handsome boy! He has a beautiful majestic face ❤️

Oh, I was just making a joke.

I love GED!!!! I bought and read it FOREVER ago, but it's so good it is still on my favorites shelf!
*GEB - stupid phone.

You're up in here doing Sodoku logic games with your doge
You have some serious fur in your future.
I think it matches, especially with his coat pattern
Saw the shepherd right off
Nice eye! Where do you see it?
Them ears
Pics 1 and 4. A shepherd dressed in a husky coat
My first thought was Siberian husky, GSD, and something else. The Alaskan Malamute makes sense. Plus 200% adorable. That 4th photo and his cute face 🥰

Oh interesting! I haven’t heard of this breed before and you’re right, he does look a bit similar if he had a more wolfiness look.
Not all of them are cross with wolves though. Do you know his backstory?
I looked and said bet that has same samoyed 😂 what an awesome looking dog
Handsome!!
Sounds right to me. My dog has similar genes but with about half pittie and some bulldog with a little bit of chow
I love his smile, it kinda reminds me of the "Sammy Smile" lol
He’s beautiful! Truly the only thing that shocked me was the GS. Husky and Mal are obviously and I can understand the Samoyed
beautiful dog
