Gas kept getting Zenkai boosts every time Goku or Vegeta hurt him, at the expense of his body growing older and becoming more zombie-like (burning his cells like fuel, to use Gas's own words). Saitama breaking his limiter doesn’t even scale him anywhere either. His infinite potential ≠ infinite strength. Even if you’d wanna give him the benefit of the doubt, then sure. Let’s do that.

Goku still has more going for him. Better range, techniques, Haxs, and better fighting Prowess. Saitama has skill, but not on the level of goku’s not to mention how Goku still has transformations ontop of scaling IMMENSELY higher than Saitama. Which means he’d have to close the gap yet again.

What I said was that we won’t use narrative that we’ve come to assume from the verse, because that’s a result of the story being told. Saitama being the strongest is only a result of his story needing him to be that strong, and so we won’t take that.

Ghostfreak and Big Chill are pretty good matchups against Goku in my opinion, as Goku can't deal with intangible opponents while all these aliens need to win is to touch Goku and either possess him or freeze him from the inside

Feedback (fast enough to absorb a multiversal Big Bang in an instant and can absorb any kind of energy) and Ghostfreak (can become intangible and can possibly possess him) are probably Ben’s best bets without Alien X. Clockwork could maybe work, while Goku has shown resistance to time powers Clockwork’s abilities are a lot stronger than Hit’s.
I think a mix of aliens could beat goku like using chromastone or feedback to absorb goku’s ki attacks and then goop or big chill for his melee attacks and then just wear him down
