I may have found a fix but need confirmation. I went back into my home and was moving things into my chests after using my cursor in my own bag and then exiting I was able to use my inventory correctly again. Please let me know if this helps (I'm on PS5)

Just started having this problem - so frustrating to have to keep restarting!

I've just started the game again after an old glitch ages ago and I come back to more glitches etc how fun lol

I’m having the same issue- started tonight.

I am also having this problem. It's not where I am or what I am doing. Sometimes I just can't access my inventory, but I can get to wardrobe and furniture. Going out and back in to the menu doesn't seem to help. 

Same here losing my mind over it lol
