But I can’t afford them this time around ☹️ Whatever they did to the voting system this year has set me back terribly. And yes, I’m blaming the system cause I’ve had some good snaps that have gotten trash results and trash snaps that have also gotten trash results. This year has been a constant stream of 600-1500. Last year, 2500-4k.
I've seen so many amazing snaps rank low these weeks and some glitches of double pictures or one of the choices are blank appearing during voting so I do agree there might be some weird stuff going on and messing up the votes 😭 I've also seen snaps from previous challenges while voting!
I sort of agree with you. I got 2500 this week (1200 last week, prior to that all 300-600). I can’t even remember what I did. I have been putting in more effort, and I recall the one before and last weeks. But can’t even recall what I did for cooking with friends, so I’m not sure if it was really 2500 worth. Are these saved anywhere I can go back and look?
I play on PC so I have an option to save them to my computer, but if you play on console I think you can download the image when you click "save and share", they should give you a QR code and you can scan it with your phone and download it. I've been saving mine and uploading them to the dreamers portal so I have a gallery with my snaps and can see my progress!

The craziest picture I saw… Someone photographed a salmon for a Dreamsnap challenge and you know what everyone was celebrating it 🙄
Imagine you put a lot of effort into your picture and your snap appears next to picture with a salmon. I felt sad for the other person without the fish when I saw this here on Reddit. Because this seems felt a little bit unfair.

It was infuriating. I stopped doing dreamsnaps for while, recently started submitting my own again and still only get 900. I just wish there was clear criteria for these darn things 😭
There are clear criteria:
Be the one more appealing to the audience. Easy and hard as that.
My vote, for example, never goes to selfies that show only a minimal setup. I will much rather cancel the vote if that's all I could choose between, so I don't support lazy or vain people.
In a 50/50 split, I vote for male characters because they have a harder time with the wardrobe in the game and I also like to support variety over Disney Princess #224,532 :)

And I‘m not sure if can vote for picture from other countries or just from from country. In this case Germany. 🤷🏽♀️ Or maybe I only see pictures from European users which I can vote for.

I think it’s worth it personally and it’s massive. Like the other houses I have are dainty and small and fit in the area of the gate given for our house in the plaza…. This sticks out a bit but not much. It’s wide & tall too. 💙

I hadn’t played for months and only picked it up again in May- I was SO excited for Prince Eric’s ship showing up again. It’s nice they repeat items so you get other chances if you miss them.
I spent way more than usual haha.
Bought Eric’s ship because I know I want it and have put it off the last 2 or 3 times it came around because I prioritized other things.
Got the elegant plant because I saw a comment that said it took 16 months to come back around this time in the store and I didn’t want to wait that long again!
And I got the Elemental hairstyles because that’s what I wanted the most.
My moonstone wallet is hurting this week!

New player, had the game for 3 or 4 weeks now, so in still in stage of unlocking characters and doing story. Haven't found need for premium shop yet.

But later once if your house is fully upgraded you can change it or place some other house from the premium shop like a dark castle or a mansion… Or some other cool items like a ferris wheel… Critters and other cool stuff.

Same experience. My 7 y.o took pretty much the exact picture I did. I got top 100 and 4K, she got 600.

I ran out of moonstones after buying the potted plant this week, but my dreamsnaps got me 4,000 moonstones, so I've been replenished!
