I fly all the time in my dreams by flapping my arms lol like once a month at least. I've always done this and once I'm airborne I can hover. It feels so real one day I decided to try... Didn't work in a woke state.

Take methyline blue, it enhances dreams.

That’s interesting, never had that myself. For me it’s always jumping, that turns into flight (or near abouts), usually going between buildings, towers, steeples, ledges. And almost always at night for some reason…

I used to dream that I was able to fly as a little kid, then I would wake up and be very disappointed. Now I may rarely feel like I fly in a lucid dream, but it's different because it feels more like astral travel then actually flying. I will realize it's a lucid dream, or I am testing if it's a lucid dream and then by will lower I float up. It's short then I wake up but it's not the same as that one fun dream I had that I was able to fly as a kid.

I have dreams like this regularly, not just flying, but lives which are far better than my real one. Always wake up disappointed.

Velbalenos

Yes, I know exactly what you mean, and there’s usually an instant when I wake up that I still think dream world is the real world, but then (when I can still ‘feel’ the dream) there’s moments of disappointment, sadness even, that dream world and dream me, isn’t real.
