Alpaka Hub or Admin Pouch

One-Calligrapher1815

I have loved every Maxpeditiin pocket organizer I ever had! Fair warning once you have one it will be the base line for judging all other bags and pouches.

SpikeHK

This is what I ended up ordering. I ordered the Mini and if that ends up being too small I'll swap it out for the EDC.

One-Calligrapher1815

Lol I should warn you that these pouches can be addictive! They are so handy and Maxpeditions seem to have a ability to defy physics, time and space expanding and holding more without getting bigger. I have other less expensive no-name brands of similar sizes and I can’t fit as much in them. No offense to women but I feel like I’m collecting purses! I got problems 🤪!

SpikeHK

I'm with you. During the 20 years I was doing amateur and semi-professional photography, I probably had more camera bags than my wife had purses or wallets! And at the same time that I ordered this Maxpedition bag, I saw that Chrome was running a final sale, almost 50% off, on a messenger bag that I'd been lusting after for a year, and I pulled the trigger on that one too. I already have at least a dozen little tech organizer bags because I travel relatively frequently for work - different bags for check in and carry on, different bags for different devices, those free bags you get when you travel business class. Bags R Me.

I use a Chrome bags utility pouch for similar needs, it has an inner tarp liner for water resistance, and a nylon exterior, my oldest one is over a decade old and still looks new.

bewitchedbumblebee

>not a stand alone thing What do you mean "not a stand alone thing"?

TBDG

Probably it needs no straps like a backpack or a sling bag to carry it on its own. Just a pouch to put into a bigger bag, but to keep stuff together and easy to manage.

SpikeHK

Exactly that - no straps, just a pouch to put into a bag, sorry for not explaining it more clearly.

pirhanaconda

I took that to mean, something that doesn't have a carrying strap. No backpacks, slings, fanny packs, etc. Just a little EDC zippered pouch Edit: I use these OP [https://www.thule.com/en-us/organizers/electronic-organizers/thule-subterra-powershuttle-\_-3204138](https://www.thule.com/en-us/organizers/electronic-organizers/thule-subterra-powershuttle-_-3204138) I'm actually in the middle of loading them up right now. Prepping for an apartment move, making sure each one has a battery pack, knife, multi tool, etc https://preview.redd.it/5t5yqadgo75d1.jpeg?width=3827&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=087c8e369babc31c8c60e2f184c96b3e2ca68e3d

salsa_hands

I’m curious. Why prepping each one before you’re moving?

pirhanaconda

So I have box cutters and tools on hand when I get there to unpack and rebuild furniture. One in my backpack. One in my car. One in my suitcase. Moving 1500 miles and want to have redundancy for essentials. Including being able to charge two laptops on the road.
