I got just the list. Its windgrace MLD with a focus on [[obliterate]] and the like, so instead of just lands you destroy everything except your cmdr. Enjoy being the bad guy!

No one runs enough mountains to make it work without prismatic omen type effects. It’s an incredible utility and I can’t recommend it enough.
I’m also surprised to see you have torment listed as a win con and you’re not running cabal coffers + Urborg.
Maybe tuned down to fit a meta, which I think is the most important part of deck building, fitting your group well.
Eh its fine. I just dont think its worth all the money and Valakut is trash without dryad or omens in play
As for Coffers, it is unnecessary. Its very win more in a deck that makes tons of mana and destroys most permanents before the torment is cast.
Trash? It’s just another red source… which can also be pitched to draw two, which can later be recurred, which can get you 30+ damage off a decent scape shift.
Idk how you say it’s a “win-more” deck when you’re missing basic, well established tech. That list looks slow.
Again, im not running dryad so Valakut is just an etb tapped mtn, which is bad. If i ever feel like tossing another $30+ at the deck, maybe that'll change.
When your plan is to cast [[obliterate]] you dont need 30+ mana to torment. Nobody has permanents to sac. Its all to the face
Says the dude explaining how Valakut doesn’t work without prismatic, to the 5* year Windgrace player…
Instead of explaining WHY you don’t run the cards. Like meta, budget, local ban-lists. You just repeatedly explain pretty basic interactions, to a person with a stronger version of the deck you’re running…
Your deck is slow and overtly reliant on MLD. It’s missing basic tech (not even a scute swarm). I’ve purposely made slower choices for my deck to slow it down for my meta, and I would stomp your ass in the mirror.
Who’s the jackass?
[[Realm Razer]] is a fun card to consider in a theme like this. If you blink it you can remove everyone's lands and bring them all back multiple times for a truly absurd amount of landfall triggers.
Oh my. As someone that loves shitting up opponent mana bases I have to say introducing me to that card will produce much spice in the near future.
Have you considered starting up a salt company? You've got the knack.
Before commander was the only casual format people played I built a 60 card standard casual Realm Razer + amulet of vigor deck.
It's still one of my favourite cards, but I have yet to put it in a commander deck .
\[\[Hazezon, Shaper of Sand\]\] is the commander you're looking for. It has red and white for MLD, is a deserts-only crucible in the command zone, AND is a landfall payoff.
I was looking at cards for a Hazezon deck recently and just gave up because almost all the deserts are trash, and there aren’t even that many. The new OTJ card that makes all your lands deserts seems like it will help a lot, but then you’re just getting into tutor/combo deck territory.. Do you feel like going into more detail about why you like Hazezon despite these issues? I really want to like him but am just not convinced so far 🫠
I just recently discovered hazezon and opted to just buy the desert bloom precon and do some upgrades. Seems like a ton of fun with him in the 99, along with a ton of other big threats like big mad Omnath, titania, and the actual commander Yuma. I’m looking forward to all the landfall ETB/ETG triggers!
I built Hazezon just last week precisely because of the janky mana base. I thought it would limit the power level of the deck. In the end I still won my first two games with it. (I didn't build it with MLD.)
Profiting from land destruction is no different than profiting from a creature wipe. If it puts you ahead by a bit that's all that matters.
For me running red is imperative for MLD. [[Obliterate]] wins games if you build for it with indestructible permanents and cards like [[Vandalblast]] and [[Red Sun's Twilight]] can also put in work on hampering mana generation.
The key is really to just make sure you are actually ahead after it resolves. And honestly it's only going to be 2-3 cards in the 99 so obviously can't just straight up build around it unless running tutors.
I run [[Hinata]] as a MLD deck and [[Klothys]] as another. I don't have a Klothys deck posted.
https://www.moxfield.com/decks/zdRZ7Tza60C8vJgFzccrtg my Hinata deck. Doesn't have to be built to be all around miserable but this one. The goal here is to cast Red Sun's and use the mana it generates with copies to fuel [[Armageddon]]. But still need a way to remove creatures or you just get beat to death.
Thre are a couple good landfall commanders.
If you wanna grab what I think is the best, especially if you dont know - [[Hazezon]] and [[Yuma]]. Hazezon can really explode if there are extra land draws.
Plus theres white and green for [[doubling season]][[parallel lives]] and [[anoited precession]].
They can both be gotten (along with many deserts) in the Thunder Junction precon "Desert Bloom"
I also just made myself a [[Dakkon the Blackblade]] whom benefits from simply having lands out. Put a [[Blackblade reforged]] on him and it gets nuts.
It doesn't make sense to out-ramp everyone, then wipe all the lands. However as you say you can recover from a wipe a lot faster if you use return-from-graveyard type effects.
The other option is not to wipe lands at all, but use things like \[\[Tectonic Break\]\], \[\[Tremble\]\] or \[\[Smallpox\]\] to effectively edict lands. If you have 7 lands whilst everyone else has 5 and you make everyone sac 5, you're looking pretty good (especially if you can then replay some of your from your graveyard or even just \[\[Life from the Loam\]\], ensuring that at a minimum you hit all your land drops again).
This actually has the feature, which may be a good one depending on your group, that you aren't *necessarily* wiping all lands but maybe just making people sac some of them - so they can still, you know, play the damn game, they're just set back a lot whilst you hopefully power into the lead.
That's a great idea, and almost exclusively what I thought. Making them sac indicidual lands fulfills the same idea i had (armageddon, then aszusa+crucible of worlds, I have 3 lands they have 0). Thanks!
Yeah you can do that too of course, you've just got this trade-off between out-ramping and then wiping.
Azusa or other play-extra-land effects alongside \[\[Storm Cauldron\]\], \[\[Mana Breach\]\] or \[\[Mana Vortex\]\] can be pretty brutal too. The latter two of course require Blue but otherwise I'd probably go with Lord Windgrace or \[\[Soul of Windgrace\]\] because you want green but red gives you most of the sac options (black offers one or two things like Smallpox but is I guess less important) and both give you ways to recur lands.
Also, just of the top of my head: \[\[Braids, Arisen Nightmare\]\] can sac lands as well. fitting into Lord Windgrace. I'd love to play in Sans-Blue colors just for the land tax and two more MLD, but I think Windgrace is just the way to go, no way around it.
It's a shame you can't \[\[Isochron Scepter\]\] Smallpox. That would be amazingly nasty (and fun)
[[Erinis, Gloom Stalker]] is a nice choice as it can get you a land back every turn and you can pair it with a background of the colour of your choice that wipes lands the way you like it.
I would go with red to have access to [[Orcish Lumberjack]] and others.
Oh, and please play [[Overlaid Terrain]] and [[Need for Speed]], such funny cards.
How about a MLD/Landfall/stax deck that is disguised as a group hug deck? The real fun part is when you [[Collective Voyage]] with the table then blow their lands up. Bonus points if you [[Natural Affinity]] then cast [[Supreme Verdict]]
https://manabox.app/decks/I7S7oT4ySDSwrs6cGG3RLA
I see a few avenues here:
1-Run like 95% basic lands and [[Ruination]] style effects
2- Use graveyard recursion to achieve similar results. [[Strip Mine]],[[Wasteland]],[[Dustbowl]]. Plus [[The Gitrog Monster]] for value.
3- Cast your MLD, then [[Splendid Reclamation]], [[Teferi’s Protection]], etc. there are a few white spells that return all permanents you have that were killed this turn that can do it. I’ll look them up if I can remember later
Also if in B/G, [[Worm Harvest]], [[Rumbleweed]], [[Centaur Vinecrasher]], [[Titania, Protecter of Argoth]]. Then you can get value from your reverse landfall triggers too!
[[Faiths Reward]] and [[Second Sunrise]]
Although with Second Sunrise, you have to have some form of graveyard hate to make sure that you come out on top. I usually go with Soul Guide Lantern
Feel like I haven't seen the obvious yet, but Tatyova plus all the bonus land cards you could easily keep everyone else landless while generating some value for yourself.
And during all this she'd draw you Hella cards.
You're going to need cards like \[\[Heroic Intervention\]\], \[\[Boros Charm\]\], \[\[Teferi's Protection\]\], \[\[Sylvan Awakening\]\], \[\[Avacyn, Angel of Hope\]\], or \[\[Soul of New Phyrexia\]\].
Turns off your landfall strategy, but lets you benefit from MLD even when you don't control a Crucible effect.
I'm personally not a fan of steady recovery after a board wipes as some decks will recover the lost lands even faster.
The two avenues I see working are, getting the largest board presence then nuke the manabases to keep you in the lead. Commanders like Kaalia work great for this.
Or make your lands indestructible/phased out/temporary exiled and then wipe the mana bases of the opponents. [[Heroic intervention]], [[Boros charm]] or making your lands into creatures that gain indestructible that turn are options.
Soul of wind grace or wind grace the planeswalker would both be good candidates for the second avenue.
I recently built exactly that deck :D with \[\[Thalia and the Gitrog Monster\]\] you MLD, you play lands from the graveyard, you stax, you win. if you have any questions about the deck, feel free to ask :)
Pros of Thalia are: you are in green for landfall and white for MLD and you have combo/synergy potential with landfall in the command zone. Also cute art
[https://www.moxfield.com/decks/yYNXUhPvgEOtCMlTC2z0WA](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/yYNXUhPvgEOtCMlTC2z0WA)
My \[\[Jhoira of the Ghitu\]\] used to run some. Took it out after a while.
The idea is you send something like Eldrazi's into time-delayed entry and destroy all creatures and lands before they ETB. Or at the same time by stacking the triggers right. The Annihilator keyword means you won, basically, because they won't ever make it back into the game.
Terra Eternal makes ALL lands indestructible. You'll need a [[Shadowspear]] or a [[Bonds of Mortality]] and a way to turn them into creatures for that to work.
My favorite combination for MLD and landfall in the same deck is Naya landfall running [[Tooth and Nail]] into [[Realm Razer]] with [[Oblivion Sower]] or [[Tyrant of Discord]].
I played against a guy with a very powerful [[Lord Wingrace]] Landfall/MLD deck.
The details are hazy, but I think that commander does everything a deck like that would want. Card advantage and Land recurrence.
My janky \[\[Korvold, Fae-Cursed King\]\] is a **MLD/Landfall** deck. The MLD revolves around *sacrificing* lands, thus triggering Korvold's value engine. Not the best use of Korvold, but I like it. Designed around being able to immediately recover after MLD if needed, with thbe normal Landfall Win-cons.
[Moxfield Link](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/5evm1E-YrUuXD17gLF_f7w)
For your consideration: [[Slogurk, the Overslime]]. Go in and rip your own land apart to make Slogurk big. Target yourself with a [[Fleet Swallower]] or [[Traumatize]] and swing away. Get it all back with [[Splendid Reclamation]] and watch the miracle happen again.
It’ll cost ya a bit. get yourself an \[\[academy rector\]\], a \[\[living plane\]\], a \[\[Gaea’s Cradle\]\] and \[\[The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale\]\]. \[\[Thalia and the gitrogg monster\]\] at the helm. Add both Linvalas and a couple of Elesh norns. landfall works well with stuff like \[\[felidar retreat\]\], \[\[greensleeves, Mario sorcerer\]\],and both titanias. It’s a fun deco to navigate!
[[Hazezon, Shaper of Sand]] and [[Yuma, Proud Protector]]. The combo of the 2 with triggers for desert entering and leaving the battlefield with a way to play them from the graveyard and ways to play multiple a turn works quite well
i would highly recommend \[\[fall of the thran\]\]. used that in a karametra deck a while back to great effect. bonus points if you have an \[\[emeria shepherd\]\] or \[\[admonition angel\]\]. there's a lot more splendid reclamation effects not too, so it seems interesting.

They can both be gotten (along with many deserts) in the Thunder Junction precon "Desert Bloom" I also just made myself a [[Dakkon the Blackblade]] whom benefits from simply having lands out.

I see a few avenues here: 1-Run like 95% basic lands and [[Ruination]] style effects 2- Use graveyard recursion to achieve similar results.

Could try this [Windgrace](https://manabox.app/decks/GUr1rFZgRguuPDcxR1BuPg) list

I don't mind MLD IF it's going to win the game. But playing it just to durdle will piss me off.
i would highly recommend \[\[fall of the thran\]\]. used that in a karametra deck a while back to great effect. bonus points if you have an \[\[emeria shepherd\]\] or \[\[admonition angel\]\]. there's a lot more splendid reclamation effects not too, so it seems interesting.
