For starters, 57 is only available in black. The 59 has bursts available. 57 comes with Lollars and the 59 comes with Seymour Duncan’s. The 57 comes with a bound headstock.
59’s now also come with lollars. When I’ve had both side by side the neck profile was slightly slimmer on the 57. But I can’t say if that’s always the case or if it was sample variation. As these are hand-made.
The black on the 57 is also a matte black, not shiny like the finish on the regular 59.
The SB59/v has lollars but the trutone SB59 appears to still be SD 59s? Are you seeing something else?
As for neck profiles, you can have R0 to R8 in n any of the SB models it seems. A lot of variance within the medium to large vintage size.

The Eastman site shows Lollars for the truetone SB59’s. The older SB59’s had Duncan’s
Thanks!
