Found the one person who likes grape nuts. Try oatmeal or crackling oat bran is pretty good and crunchy. Also, start taking Metamucil to supplement fiber.
Someone else said this uptrend so I'll do my part as a grape nuts lover here: make the bowl of cereal then pop it in the microwave for a minute or so. Softens right up
Or add the milk and just let it sit there for about 5 mins. The top stays crunchy and the lower you go the nuggets soften. If you dig in your spoon like you're taking a core sample, you get a bite with multiple textures. Mmmm.
Shredded wheat cereal is high in fiber. Add on 2 or 3 different types of fruit, some greek yogurt and milk. Or replace the shredded wheat with rolled oats.
I don't have a cereal suggestion, but another easy way to get more fiber is to add psyllium husk powder to a smoothie.
It has a really off-putting texture in water but just makes a smoothie extra thick. You also get extra fiber from the fruit.
Try supplementing a cereal you like with Chia seeds.
Alternatively my wife eats sprouted bread with nut butter and Chia seeds sprinkled on it. It has like 8000 g of fiber...
i like oatmeal with a little granola added and some fresh fruit. i generally put blueberries in the freezer, pop a few dozen out, rinse them and put them in when i start the oatmeal. .

All Bran Buds is nearly identical in texture and has loads of fiber!
Ooh! Good to know!

I love Grape Nuts but we stopped eating cold cereal.
I love Grape Nuts. It was my grandmother’s favorite cereal and always reminds me of her
I love Grape Nuts!
Last time grape nuts got brought up here, I got down voted to all hell. Good luck!!!
That's silly but it is the worst cereal I ever tasted. It was like eating small pepples that you found in your shoes.

I do about 20-30 seconds. It softens it up so you don't break a tooth but still has some crunch.
Or add yogurt and fruit or jelly! Delicious.
Aquarium gravel should be roughly the same texture, but may not have quite the same nutritional value.
This made me laugh! Yeah, the cereal does have quite a texture doesn’t it? Not really my thing to be fair.
Add milk and heat it up in the microwave for one to one and a half minutes. Life-changing.

That’s how I do it! Love some Grape Nuts.
Another core sampler! Mmm, I may just have a bowl for dinner.
This is the way. I've converted people like this
I'm pretty sure that was sold under the brand name Quarry. Made conversations at the breakfast table challenging.

Yes, and depending on what s/he likes, the shredded wheat minis and the full-size biscuits are very different in texture. One is sure to be appealing
Shredded mini wheats are rad. Hard to beat a simple bowl of shredded mini wheats in vanilla greek yoghurt and some berries mixed in.

Fiber one original bran cereal might be similar enough. It's sticks instead of little round things, but maybe you could lightly crush it if needed?
OP, if you try Fiber One, shop around. It's over $8 a box at my nearest supermarket but $5 at Target.
Fiber One tastes like dry cat food though!
Seconded Fiber One. Much more fiber than any leading cereal, including Grape Nuts.
[I open the box, I put it in the bowl, no grapes, no nuts.](https://youtu.be/EIfDe02WDV0?si=ww8LiS3K1mqJ33tr)
Years ago, I changed from Grape Nuts to unsweetened mini shredded wheat. Half the price. I don't miss Grape Nuts.
Get rolled oats, add chopped fresh fruit. Poor milk on it and eat like cold cereal. Welcome to muesli.
Google “Bircher muesli;” a make ahead cold dish that’s delicious. Delicious is an understatement.
Pour
Yes, lol.
If you can find them, I like weetabix quite a bit. It’s definitely softer than grape nuts, but has a similar vibe. I’m a grape nuts lover too.
Try to consider trying bran flakes or oat bran cereal, which are high in fiber and similar in texture to GrapeNuts

Raisin Bran
I like Trader Joe's hi fiber cereal for similar reasons.
Maybe cracklin oat bran cereal? Tastes like cookies to me.
