my tied #1s are malenia and godfrey.
My first playthru finding the godskin in the bottom of radahn's rune tower was really cool to me idk y, the music and atmosphere of that first fight was really good to me IMO.
For me, the Lord of Blood. Only boss fight I've ever played where, after beating it, I leapt out of my chair and yelled "THAT FIGHT WAS SO F***ING SICK!"
Malenia is the hardest, but also probably the most hit or miss boss. Plenty of people like the difficulty and plenty don't agree with her design.
I think Placidusax, Radagon, and Maliketh are pretty solid bosses on their own and they're good in my book.
For me it's Godfrey.
I enjoyed some bosses a lot on the first run, but then they got a little boring on repeat runs.
Others bosses I hated on the first run, but got more fun on repeat runs (...hello Malenia.)
Godfrey has just remained fun the whole time. Loved it the first time, and still have fun with it each run.
Alecto, the Black Knife Ringleader.
Let me explain: in my first playthrough I somehow followed Ranni's quest very early (I played blind, so did not look up any spoilers for the game), so got to the Moonlight Altar very early in the game. I guess that at this time I was quite underleveled and also relied on being able to use spirit summons in boss fights. Which is not possible with Evergaols boss fights, unfortunately.
So one can imagine that I had a very hard time with Alecto. She has over 17K HP and also can deal a whole lot of damage. So I had, once more, a kind of classical boss fight session over a couple of hours to learn how to survive in the fight and to learn how to defeat Alecto. And she is a good teacher, it made a lot of fun to learn the boss. What I like very much in this bossfight is that it is very dynamic in the sense that Alecto can attack you with mutiple attacks in a row, but then also reduces the pace from time to time. Every attack of her is well telegraphed and can be properly dodged if reacting fast enough. The jump attack can be even countered with a backstab if dodging in the right direction (behind her).
For some reason Alecto remained as the only boss fight in Elden Ring where I got a great feeling of accomplishment after beating her. In case of other bosses, like many of the story bosses, I was often just relieved that the fight is over and that I do not have to do this boss again (from the perspective of the 1st playthrough).
I mean to be honest, my only issue it’s it keeps dipping off to the other side of the area every 10 seconds and we don’t have Torrent, that and I guess that the star attack was very infuriating to learn how to dodge for me, other than that it’s awsome, the design, the arena and the music
Maliketh. He deserves a full health bar!!

Morgot is amazing, by the time I beat him I felt like we were dancing.
Radhan - not because of his game mechanics or difficulty, I love his lore and because Leonard is the fuckin horse of all horses
I've 3 standout favorites: - Maliketh the Black Blade -Radagon of the Golden Order -Mohg, Lord of Blood
Margit(gud). No need for flashy AoEs or dramatic transformations, he just beats the rules of the game into you.

I think I like Radagon + Elden Beast best now Radagon is such a good fight and the noise the Elden Beast makes when you smash it up Just so satisfying

Godfrey, Maliketh, Placidusax and Malenia. Morgott is great, but has too little health. But I also love Mohg, Radagon and DTS, so it's hard :D
