Honestly the part in Margit cuts cene where he ends with "Someone must extinguish thy flame, let it be Margit the Fell" always gives me the shivers, it is such a powerful dialogue and imagery.
Nah come on it’s very good indeed but I mean there are games like Last of Us or Red Dead 2 that are literally better than most TV shows when it comes to voice acting and storytelling. ER voice acting is good but it’s not a main focal point of the game. They didn’t even bother using mo cap for cutscenes which shows they could have done much more with it. Still is dope but that’s not where the game separates.
Man they're all incredible honestly. But I freaking love Malenia's a lot. The way the music starts playing in second phase, the way she delivers the line "You will witness true horror", just gets me. The butterfly motif is also spot on. Close second would be Morgott. I just love his voice and speech so much.
It's that one second delay after the flower blooms where the music comes in blowing you away and you just see slices of her figure through the petals wondering what ungodly abomination you have to deal with now.
He 100% is. They share same model, same animation, same connection with Death, and most importantly Gurranq/Claric beast's model is just Maliketh model covered in cloth
They are, but Farum Azula really fucks with time. Gurranq and Maliketh are the same individual, just at different points in time. Maliketh has special dialogue if you've completed Gurranq's deathroot questline.
Godrick the Grafted, for both phases. The guy just chews the fuck out of the scenery

I specifically love the shot in the first of his hand all curled, revealing the six fingers. No one moves their hand like that, but it creates such a striking silhouette
To me, Godrick moving his hand like that - and even throwing off the cape to reveal all the arms - is him looking at the player and saying, "Look at all the shit grafted onto me! You're so boned, little Tarnished!" And then he gets his ass whooped because he's canonically the biggest bitch in the Lands Between.
He really is just a big girl's blouse. I love how that shines through his character, though, and how it comes across in his cutscene. He is desperate and insecure, and his need to make a spectacle of himself, to be witnessed by his forefathers one and all, shines in his cutscene
"...I am Lord of all that is Golden... And one day, we'll return together... To our home, bathed in rays of gold..."

The only issue i have with that cutscene is that when he screams WARRIORRRR his animation is underwhleming. He just stares at the camera and i expected him to scream with all his migtlht looking up dramatically.
My top 3:
Malenia. The pure sorrow in her voice, as she laments waiting for Miquella, and the subtle change in energy when she says "Heed my words" will never not give me goosebumps. Then the cutscene of her 2nd phase is just so beautifully animated, and the transition into her winged form just tops it all off wonderfully. She is a work of art.
Maliketh. The way he stabs his hand imbued with the Rune of Death and slowly pulls his blade while it transforms into a greatsword and changes his appearance is like, so edgy and badass. This guy is epic af.
Rennala's phase transition. Beautifully animated and Ranni’s narration just makes it all better. "Send word far and wide, of the last Queen of Caria - Rennala of the Full Moon." gives me chills.

Second place for me is probably Morgott's, his voice actor also nailed it. "Have it writ upon thy meagre grave: Felled by King Morgott! Last of all kings."

The whole Godfrey/Hoarah Loux fight. The pain he feels as his son disappears in his arms, the realization that the grace isn't guiding us to him, but him to us, and when he takes off the gloves and fights you not as a king or soldier, but just as a man. That man deserved his godhood.
It's some this towns not big enough for the both of us energy, yet recognizing feats and skills at the same time. Godfrey wouldn't want someone stronger than him to not be elden lord, but Hoarah Loux just wants a to catch hands cause it's a good time.
My favorite has got to be Morgott. He has such villan rival vibes throught the game, he's kinda like the Pursuer from ds2 but with actual characterization. I think Placidusax's cutscene is kinda underrated too, the arena literally rebuilding itself as we go back in time. And the reveal for Placidusax too...
I’m kinda surprised nobody said Radahn. I know he didn’t have a legacy dungeon but the presentation of that boss was still pretty epic.

Malenia’s transformation is terrifying and awesome. Godfrey commands the idea of epic warrior. Mohg is effectively disturbing and Morgott’s delectable piggies and speech build to a spectacular battle. They injected so much personality into all of their characters who we only know in 30 second clips lol
The mid-fight cutscene of Renala's fight is my favorite thing in most video games. The fight itself is piss easy if you have the right art of war equipped, but Ranni's speech is an awesome "Do you have any idea who the fuck I am?" moment and her motives (in this scene, let's not get religious ;) ) are super clear and compelling.
Malenia, it's an amazing cutscene and phase 2 looks so cool when she spreads her wings and the butterflies fly out. Maliketh is probably my second favorite
Malenia is very simplistic but gives this tension that you're about to fight the deadliest warrior of the Lands between.

Either melania’s or maliketh’s phase transition. Honestly there are so many lines from remembrance bosses that go so hard. “May the curse seep to thy very soul” and “O death, become my blade once more” oh and we can’t forget “I am Melania Blade of Miquella” so many awesome lines.

Dark souls was my first souls game and I was getting my ass handed to me constantly, and when the cutscene first plays with just a little alligator peeking out I thought I was being handed an easier fight. Then his whole body comes up from the ledge and it was a genuine "oh fuck!" moment

Radagon. As Marika falls from her imprisonment and Radagon takes control, he hoists up his hammer and looks back at you, the Elden Ring glowing in his torso. He looks down on you, as a god. A high and mighty being, the Golden Order’s champion. It’s almost as if he says “Fine. You want the Elden Ring? Come and take it, Tarnished.”
But he doesn’t need any words. He believes that he’s above you, that you’re nothing more than an insect, but you’ve felled Demigods and legends, he doesn’t know who he’s messing with.
But as usual, with bosses in ER, he widely underestimated you. The OST blasts off, giving you the feeling that now things are serious. You’ve some so far, Radagon is one obstacle that prevents you from learning the truth. After he falls in battle to the last Tarnished, he’s picked up by the vassal of the Greater Will, and transformed into a sword. Radagon was just a tool for the gods, he always had been. You’ve come face to face with the truth of this world, and now you have to prove your worth and ambition to get past it and take your place as Elden Lord.
Both Margot and Godrick. Margot jumps off that pulpit/battlement talking about putting out fires! Grodrick's whole intro then he cuts his hand off and puts on a DRAGON'S HEAD and starts shooting fire at you! You know that guy is serious! Maliketh at the very end for honorable mention!
I loved them all so much but for me I have to go with Radahns, cause that got me so pumped for the fight, kinda felt like I was gonna go fight a raid boss in an MMO
Both Morgott and Mohg I enjoyed a lot. I wish there was a bigger fuss for the start of Mohgs second phase though, first time I fought him I was way over levelled and killed him before I even realised he had wings now.
Chadagon. That shot from over the back as the music starts kicking and elder ring symbol illuminates on his body really gets the adrenaline pumping...
Honorable mentions would be both Godrick and Malenia. Godrick was giving me the Mad Max War Boy vibe, especially when he screams "bear witness!!". And I just can't get enough of Malenia, sword of Miquella.
Hoarah Loux. Though it would have been absolutely 2000% better if they'd just had him let loose another primal yell at the end rather than that corny ass "WARRIORRRRRR"

Both Morgott and Mohg I enjoyed a lot. I wish there was a bigger fuss for the start of Mohgs second phase though, first time I fought him I was way over levelled and killed him before I even realised he had wings now.
Godrick screaming always makes me laugh.

Chadagon. That shot from over the back as the music starts kicking and elder ring symbol illuminates on his body really gets the adrenaline pumping... Honorable mentions would be both Godrick and Malenia. Godrick was giving me the Mad Max War Boy vibe, especially when he screams "bear witness!!". And I just can't get enough of Malenia, sword of Miquella.

Radahan's thing is pretty epic. It's maybe the most cinematic of all the bosses. Makes me feel bad for him.

Godrick's intro. I fell in love with it when I saw it in the gameplay trailer, and loved it even more in the game.

MORGOTT he's such a fuckin amazing character and genuinely 10/10 voice acting, some of the best I've ever heard oh and people mentioning rennala phase 2 transition are absolutely right as well. feels like something right out of Blizzard's best days of cutscenes
