you can shoot them while they're standing still and it'll count as a Parry. these dude's parry windows are so big you can leave and go do the groceries before they swing
I do alot of Bloodborne cosplays, you can see iv done a few recently. Iv now done Lady Maria,Queen Annalise,Logarius& Alfred. Plan to do more hopefully the DLC gives me the ability to do more that werent possible before/allows me to improve upon ones iv done.

I noticed that, too, but since the ER version is so much more Kung Fu-ish, when I get the armor, I'm making Kung Lao from Mortal Kombat and I'm going to have him have the chakram as a secondary option to simulate the hat slice.
Fun fact: From Software actually have no control on Bloodborne IP as it's a Sony franchise actually, just like Demon's Souls is (hence why there's no mention of FS when starting Demon's Souls remake). A few month ago, Miyazki mentionned he would like to work on BB franchise again but can't as they don't own the IP. And mostly why FS bought back Elden Ring rights from Bandai recently as they wanted to keep everything under their name
If BB come on PC, it won't be because of FS but 100% from Sony (and maybe why we never had any 60fps-PS5 patch for it). Sony may try to remake the game to fully have control of it too like they did with DeS

They can't port BB on PC because they are not the owner of BB franchise. It's a Sony one actually as Miyazaki stated a few months ago. BB and Demon's Soul are not intellectual property of From software (hence why souls series became Dark Souls and not stick with the Demon part)

I legit cannot fight those guys without a gun. ...which is a problem, in Elden Ring.
A unique crossbow or new weapon type would be interesting to see adding a gun like weapon. Nothing overpowered but fun.
Imagine a parry crossbow in the DLC though? That'd be cool Or parrying with a jar cannon
It would be cool to use the cannon to parry large creatures.

The repeating crossbow and the new auto crossbow might be the closest things we will get
