I know some people accidentally swapped the ac adapters for their printer and the wash/cure station, which will cause this behavior since the wash and cure station doesn’t have the amps needed
This exact thing happened to me. It is the light board. Elegoo will send you a new board and led light free but takes FOREVER to get it. It’s not the worse thing to replace just take your time. But it does require playing with wires n stuff. Get a set of precision screwdrivers and they will send you a YouTube video that shows what to do. Unfortunately you pretty much have to tear the whole thing apart. Took me a little over an hour
Had something like this a while back took a while to get it sorted with elegoo since they want to try everything. For me the dimness was from my light emitter. My suggestion would be telling them exactly what is wrong such as the light emitter being bad. Otherwise you'll spend 3 months getting different parts from them till they finally give ya the right one.
The email I gave ya was the one that they replayed to me with. Best of luck with solving the problem if you can't go through them I would double check and make sure it's a light emitter I hear there like 150.
As others have said LCD is fine as we can see it masking in your video it's the UV LED backlight that appears to have failed. Do some research find some YouTube vendors to help. Open up your printer and check that all the power cables to the LED are in good condition and fully seated and if that doesn't help pursue replacing the LED.
Thank you sooo much for the response. I think I’ve figured it out with some help from folks on this thread.
As with most things, it appears to be user error. I plugged the machine into the plug from my curing station and it was using the wrong AC adaptor. Expensive and embarrassing mistake. But sooooooo glad that I reached out and enough folks chimed in that someone thought to throw that suggestion out there. Who knows how long it would have taken me to figure it out. Just looking at it last night, the exposure test seemed to look right again. After I get it fully put back together I’ll give it a print test today and see how it goes.
I feel like I should email elegoo and suggest they add it to their troubleshooting shooting tests. I have a custom built cabinet with all the plugs running through a hole in the back…it is so easy to just goof and plug in the wrong one.
Thanks to one and all for the helpful responses.
It’s the UV LED matrix that’s not working, not the LCD. The lcd simply masks the light.
Is that a simple fix or a can of worms?
Hard to say without seeing the board. It’s more likely the voltage regulator for the matrix failed; but it could even simply be a loose cable.
Hmmm. Thanks for the response. What would you suggest my next step should be?
Any chance you have the wash and cure station also?
Yes, I do.

If this isn’t the issue, this should help https://www.elegoo.com/blogs/3d-printer-user-guide/elegoo-saturn-2-how-to-replace-the-light-panel
Oh wow. I’d be elated and also feel like an idiot.
To be fair, if I remember correctly, they look very similar, but it’s been a while, haha
They look exactly the same. And the problem started right after I moved everything into a new cabinet.

You have had better luck than I have. I can’t get them to respond to my email…
How long ago did you email?
About 3 1/2 weeks ago
Holy cow this is who you emailed right? [email protected]
It was directly through the support link on their website.

I figured out. Was using the AC adaptor from the curing station. Ooops. But thanks for your help-I appreciate it!
No worries always good when it's a simple solution. Best of luck with the printing going forward.
