Ten years ago, I was also a software engineer. When I started my entrepreneurial journey, my initial capital was almost zero, with a maximum of only two thousand dollars. I didn’t take any courses; I was completely self-taught, essentially learning as I went along while starting my business. One thing you need to be particularly cautious about is avoiding scams, especially when it involves financial transactions. I suggest you start with a project that doesn’t require much financial investment and try to build your business from there.

Since you are in IT, I suggest building SaaS websites. Anyway, you will just get generic answers here. No one will share a specific idea with you if it is profitable. It's better to do your own research related to your current skills. I am sure all of your questions have already been answered before if you put in the effort to research.

I wouldn't take any courses until you have an idea of the problem you think you can solve. Anyone who tells you there is a one-size-fits-all framework for entrepreneurship is just trying to get your money or is fooling themselves. The main skill I'd recommend is creativity, so start flexing your creative muscles by being aware of problems when you encounter them - and then consider if they're something you would want to solve, and if you have any ideas as to how you'd go about solving them. Once you have a problem you want to solve, then dive in.

You should begin by building a skill; copywriting, web design, sales rep. Or you can levarege popular tools like Notion, canva, framer and Squarespace master it and build digital products for a selected niche market. For example you can create a Notion template for real estate agents, a squarespace web design template for plumbers and so on. Why digital products? 1. Build once and sell infinitely (Not selling your time) 2. Saves time. Just few customization to each client and they are good to go. 3. No shipping headaches. I documnted some of the digital products that are crushing it doing 20k/m selling canva templates on my [free weekly newsletter](https://digitaldropshipping.beehiiv.com/subscribe).
