New Etsy seller https://mywirednature.etsy.com I started wire wrapping about a year ago and I fell in love with this beautiful art!  To me it is the perfect combination of my love for pretty crystals with the expression of my creative outlet.  I used to have an online women's clothing boutique that unfortunately wasn't very successful after struggling for years I decided to permanently close it.  It was very sad for me because I worked very hard trying to build it. When I started wire wrapping I thought I could use the same Instagram account from the boutique and I just needed to change the name a delete the old content. I thought it would be easier than starting a new account without any followers. I have been a little discouraged because my post unfortunately don't get the engagement that I was hoping. The following I had doesn't seem interested in what I post. I'm not sure if I should just create a new Instagram account to try to build the audience that would be interested in my products. Greetings! Our shop is [Idea Chíc ](https://ideachic.etsy.com), a husband and wife team from Denver, CO. We make social stationery and sachets and **recently crossed 10,000 sales on Etsy**! Most of those sales came during our "hay day" which was 2013-2016. We thought we would hit this number in 2019 latest. But, we put our focus on other channels. Etsy’s fees are absurd. When we run a promotion in our store, they charge fees based on the product’s original price, not the discounted price. They should be encouraging promotions; promotions are good for customers who get to buy at lower prices, good for us because we can sell more, and good for Etsy because they generate more revenue. But Etsy is very greedy, so they charge fees based on the product’s non-discounted price. This is ridiculous.
