Really? I’m not a fan of the shine. Spreads well, but I don’t find it to be the best finish. I don’t even think it’s better on the face than the kids version.
I first tried P20 before being on Tretinoic Acid and wondered how anyone could deal with this oiliness - used to have mixed to oily skin.
Now with my skin being dry from Tret their products are my go to for the summer
I still don’t need a moisturizer during the day on tret, so oily sunscreens are still oily on me 🥲
(P20 kids is still one I come back to for heavy duty spf)
It's a bit too emollient for my combination oily skin in the summer, but love it in the winter. I think the 200ml versions in SPF 30 and 50+ sit better under makeup and they are such good value. Love having ONE big pump bottle I can use for face and body
For me personally, it is. But I’ve seen others on here that thinks it feels the same. They’re both emollient, but on me the face one feels like it’s sitting on top of the skin, whereas the 50+ 200ml version absorbs and sets down more
this is the version without Tinosorb M but with Tinosorb A2B. therefor it has almost no white cast. I like it a lot though it is heavier than alcohol based products. It's not drying but soothing and I would consider it "medium weight". I use it especially when my skin barrier has stress and I lack sleep. It is based on canola oil and for that situations it is the best sunscreen for me. Right now in hot sticky European summer, I tend to use rather alcohol based products for my oily skin
alcohol is drying and a lot of people cannot tolerate it everyday or at all. canola oil is just a nice fatty oil that protects your skin. nice fatty acids, nice protective qualities like a lot of oils have. but that's the downside. it is based on oil and feels like that, although it is not thaaaat heavy, it is no lightweight
One of my favorites!! 🥰
Glad to hear someone else loves it, too :)
(My other favorite is the EVY kids sun mousse because both are really high protection)
I only know that it’s available for Germany/Austria on Douglas’ online shop or for Denmark on Matas’ online shop. I think similar stores in EU countries may carry it, too. If you’re outside of the EU, it’ll be more difficult to get because it comes in an aerosol can
I have this too! It's honestly so good and only 11€ at my *local grocery store* (that, if anything, is a win). I do find it sits a little weird if my skin is super flaky, but I love using it on my body and on my face if I'm not using the Canmake Mermaid UV Gel that day.
Generally it kind of just feels like nothing imo, which is what I like!
Edit: had to recheck the price and its actually 13,90 right now. How come its so cheap here o.O
No worries :D
I'm pretty pale so I didn't really notice anything! Maybe eeeever so slightly? But nothing I honestly cared too much about. Mostly it just feels like some type of mositurizer on my skin!
What finish does it have?
I've got very oily skin and it's been really difficult for me to find a sunscreen with long lasting matte finish. I have to use the Australian Gold SPF on top of my regular one to keep my face matte longer. Would be nice to save a step.
It left a white cast on me 🥲 I used 2 pumps and I have medium skin tone. Strangely enough my partner is the same skin tone as me but it didn’t leave a cast on him, though I’m highly skeptical my partner used enough sunscreen 😂
I don't know about liquid foundation, but this works amazing with powder foundation. It still leaves a natural glow and does't dry out my skin when I apply it over this sunscreen
Its interesting you have rosacea and can use this. Im still looking for something to replace my favourite Clarins SPF. Might have a look for this. Weve used P20 in the past and its always been good, so might give it a wee go, if it doesnt work I can always pass it on to my OH.
there have been a lot of scandals lately about sunscreen brands lying about the protection their products provide… that’s why i asked it… did u notice any protection urself? ex: if u tan or burn easily did the sunscreen prevent any tanning or burning?
I've been using P20 sunscreens on my face for almost 3 years now and they're the only ones I use April-October. I have fair/light skin, rosacea, sensitive eyes, and melanoma history in my family (father). I never got a tan/burn on my face since I started using these. On long summer days when I'm outdoors on vacation, I reapply once using a Korean sunscreen stick.
The only SPF scandals I've heard about in the skincare community were the benzene one and the Purito (and a few other Korean sunscreens) one where the protection they offered wasn't what they claimed on the packaging. This has been sorted out since, with reformulations and more rigurous testing. Either way, I only wear Korean sunscreens indoors, in the evening, sticks for reapplying and November-March, as much as I LOVE their light texture.
From what I've seen available in Europe, nothing beats P20 (Sensitive, Kids, Hyperpigmentation Defence and Urban Shield, idk about the Standard line). The Kids one offers the highest and most water- and sweat-resistant protection but it's super greasy, bit of a nightmare during summer. A brand that gets close enough is EVY (any SPF50 mousse, they've got like 3), I use it on my body (I can't use it on my face because it makes my eyes sting like nothing else).
Just went to a festival, applied the recommended amount of p20 to face and body and was in the sun from 10am to 8pm, no erythema no burn. Didn’t reapply anything, normal clothing (nothing with uv filters).Fitzpatrick 2 phototype, I burn in 10 minutes on cloudy days…so in my experience, yeah, it performs as advertised
I’m very fair and I found this left a cast on me, especially with reapplication. It also really stung my eyes, and I have yet to try a P20 sunscreen that doesn’t burn my eyes. It’s a shame because I loved the finish of this.
Pictures or it didn’t happen! Really makes no sense to talk about “no white cast” without photos to prove the point and showcase what skin tone you happen to be working with.

Do you think the regular sensitive spf50+ is less greasy than the face version?

How's the finish like? Greasy? Matte?
Just a little greasy but its not something you can't work it, yk? I'd say its worth buying!
Ah, okay. Most sunscreens I've tried so far have been shiny on me so I'm a little iffy about it
this is the version without Tinosorb M but with Tinosorb A2B. therefor it has almost no white cast. I like it a lot though it is heavier than alcohol based products. I'm currently using this and really like it! Only downside is that's it not available in German stores and I have to buy it from some other country.
One of my favorites!! 🥰 Glad to hear someone else loves it, too :) (My other favorite is the EVY kids sun mousse because both are really high protection)
Evy is on my wishlist next 😁
Where do you find the mousse?

Did it leave a cast on you? Sorry, just double checking cause it exceeded my expectations 😅

Oooh where do you live??!
Finland! Been able to find it in a couple larger supermarkets, and luckily I live close to one :D
In ny country is like 20€ :))
In my country is like 20€ :))
Wow it’s like €20-25 in Ireland
Is this really that good for sensitive skin ?
What finish does it have? I've got very oily skin and it's been really difficult for me to find a sunscreen with long lasting matte finish. I have to use the Australian Gold SPF on top of my regular one to keep my face matte longer. Would be nice to save a step.
It's hydrating but non oily at the same time. I have combination skin and sweat a lot, this adheres well during sweating too
Do you use 2 pumps for the face as adviced?
I do. One pump on each side
Oh ok. I just can’t wrap my head around the fact that you find it non-oily
My rosacea prone skin can get dry at times, haha maybe that's why. It's dewy for sure, just not oily on me
It left a white cast on me 🥲 I used 2 pumps and I have medium skin tone. Strangely enough my partner is the same skin tone as me but it didn’t leave a cast on him, though I’m highly skeptical my partner used enough sunscreen 😂
Amazing sunscreen for a day at the beach - The only problem is the stains it leaves on clothes ….
If you guys need swatches, you can always DM me
You can post pictures in the comments
can you use foundation on top of it? does it absorb well?
I don't know about liquid foundation, but this works amazing with powder foundation. It still leaves a natural glow and does't dry out my skin when I apply it over this sunscreen

My bad, it's TinasorbA2B
I hate the smell of this. It doesn’t bother you?
how do u know it protects well?
The brand says it has twice the uva protection required by EU (above 50)
there have been a lot of scandals lately about sunscreen brands lying about the protection their products provide… that’s why i asked it… did u notice any protection urself? ex: if u tan or burn easily did the sunscreen prevent any tanning or burning?
I haven't tested that yet, I'll be back with an update after a week 🙃

Well if the brand says so …
i’m not understanding ur comment
What is the texture/feel like? Is it very greasy?
On me, it's very dewy, not necessarily greasy, I guess for someone with very oil skin, it can turn into a grease ball
I’m very fair and I found this left a cast on me, especially with reapplication. It also really stung my eyes, and I have yet to try a P20 sunscreen that doesn’t burn my eyes. It’s a shame because I loved the finish of this.
