Need to level up my agility 2 more for blitz. I just got the bobblehead yesterday to reach 7 agility, but I think 3/4 perk points would be worth it for this build. Thanks for the advice
i once got vats enhanced meat hook
and combined it with every single perk plus a few vats enhanced armour and i was capable of 30 hits in vats, with blitz, and with ninja 3 it was 10X damage… i think i was dealing 3500 damage
you haven't reached peak fallout 4 until you tank an assaultron eye blast because you're wearing a full set of Sentinel's armor and then kill it with one punch

The amount of Damage Reduction you're stacking with something like a full set of Overeater's or Ghoul Slayer's. Walk into the Golf Club or Capital Building, make some noise and stand there taking no damage from the horde or enemies that aggro.
My very first legendary was from a mongrel near Diamond City... Mutant Slayers Walking Cane. I didn't know how the game worked quite yet and thought it was a unique, like from earlier games, and was absolutely baffled why this was in the game.
I mean, I kept it, but still.
I'm gonna add here that you're also still standing still in vats. Even with melee. Even with blitz. That effect carried me through my unarmed only run.
Thats not a terrible legendary effect. Its not great but if you get trapped in a corner with no escape, then a melee weapon where you take less damage is decent

Bump it up to Hard, I am finding a legendary enemy about 2/3 of the time. I am playing a charisma build, but I think I am finally ready to bump it up to very hard now that I am approaching lvl50
With Blitz that is one of the best weapons for a melee build, especially if you have other pieces of Sentinel gear. And if you have all Sentinel gear you're immune to damage
Assassin's Cane. I picked it up only to see if there were some decent mods but at that point I was already like 30-is levels in a stealth Sniper build with like no levels in str so it already wouldn't be worth it.
A chance to freeze when you block? Or something like that. I guess if you are a melee build but it just seems so eh. Also, the junkie legendary effect.
I think there are more useless effect versus good ones.
The blocking ones are so stupid, especially since a few of them replace the "on hit" version of the same effect.
For example, a weapon that gets the "set on fire when blocked" effect can't get the "set on fire on hit" one

Once had Explosive on a sniper, bare in mind at the time I used it, I had other effects making explosion radius larger by 50-75%, tried killing a raider and downed 6 settlers at the same time

I find one almost every play through. I’m convinced it has a higher chance of spawning as a joke, that or I’m unlucky 🤷♂️
I found a ghoul slayers radium rifle once. I guess it could do SOME damage to ghouls but still.
The real question is if Hancock is healed by it and if you can get through the game making him tank for you

sentinel mods are quite possibly the strongest mods you can have on melee weapons, vats attacks are considered stationary
Yeah, completely insane, Sentinel + Rooted gives like a +65% damage boost in Vats
Rooted + Moving Target + Action Boy/Girl on melee builds is stupid broken. The only time I’m vulnerable is when I’m walking and I’m not walking often
Don't forget Blitz where you can go third person and teleport around corners in VATS to get easy sneak crits.
