This reminds me of when I was a huge "tomboy" and my mom was so supportive. She wanted me to be in her wedding, and when I asked to please not have to wear a dress, she said okay and picked out a suit for me. I love that Angelina seems so supportive of her kids, it warms my heart.

Oh i put tomboy in quotes because I think it's a bullshit term for girls who don't fully conform to gendered norms. My mom had to battle with the school principal to let me wear something other than a dress to a school show. It's less often we get to see children dressing in ways that don't conform because many parents push that. I'm merely saying that I love that Angelina is clearly not pushing any gender norms on her daughter, and that everything I've seen of her as a mother has shown someone incredibly accepting and loving.

I remember the 2 older boys rocking Mohawks and that the oldest daughter always wore girly outfits. Always just seems like they're allowed to be kids, with more expensive clothes.

Yeah; her oldest daughter always wore more dressy girly outfits even as a kid. The 2 younger usually opted for suits.
The kids have their own style. And they're always age appropriate.
Maybe it's because my mom made such a thing about my teen aesthetic and continued hatred of heels and makeup but I actually get a little misty seeing her kids always just dressing like kids and clearly letting their personalities dictate their choices rather than anyone else's expectations.
I feel the same way - especially seeing how Angelina coordinated her dress color with Vivienne’a suit, such a subtle but meaningful gesture of support and unity. I love it!

I always noticed that Angelina has such a strong stance each time her children join her on the red carpet. She’s always a little forward to them and I know that people could take it the wrong way but she gives them space to find safety in her if they want but doesn’t stop them from wanting to pose themselves. She seems like such a reassuring and warm mom and it makes me so happy for her kids
Vivienne looks like she might be just a little uncomfortable with all of it so I love that Angelina’s standing just a step in front of Vivienne and holding her hand. She is such a fierce protector of her kids.

I always love reading comments about Angelina Jolie and her kids here in reddit. They’re mostly supportive whilst it’s all cruel and judgy in FB. She has always seemed like a great mother to me and her kids all look safe and loved by her.
The comments on instagram everytime there is people article about Angelina or Brad the negative comments towards her astound me and the pro abuser comments also astound me. I alwys just post read the FbI report and get back to me.
It’s totally disgusting. I freaking hate how they demonize Angelina as if Brad has been a saint all his life. It’s we documented how bad he was of a father and still people think Angelina is the evil one, alienating her kids from their father.
I think Angelina looks amazing here. The colour and fit are superb and she looks better than ever. To an extent I always think her incredible beauty is a secondary part of her in public as she is such an intelligent person and switched onto the suffering and vulnerability of other human beings. It is nice to see her step forward and inhabit this space again too and to do so with her talented daughter by her side.
