Anytime I would go to a big club like ManC, Liverpool etc, the negotiation would go exactly like this. They say “we want X” , I say “I’m giving 0.8*X”.. and they reply with “That’s not enough, we want 2*X”…. WTF? Is that how negotiations work?
Here’s the funny bit though, if I delegate the negotiation, it works 9/10 times. Same with contract negotiations. Sending players out on Loan, if I negotiate, and I say we don’t want Loan-to-Buy but a simple Loan. That’s it! But if I delegate, so far 10/10 they agree. I don’t get it?! Apparently my assistant can negotiate better than me 😂
