These ppl are so damned fragile they get irrationally upset at the mere mentioning of LGBT. Always makes me question what it is so upsetting about the concept of 'just let ppl live their lives how they want, so you get afforded the same priviledge'.
Because it's a helpful reminder that they get fairly routinely attacked for doing something as innocuous as holding their partner's hand whilst walking in the street. Gay people don't get to safely do things straight people can just take for granted. They don't get to just live their lives, even if they do keep things to themselves.
If we get to a point where being gay doesn't result in kids being disowned by parents, jumped by strangers in the street, attacked on the internet, denied medical care (aids crisis), or executed (as in some countries) then things like pride month won't be as necessary. Although it will remain important as a reminder that this shit happened, and happened for far too long.

We don't know who are rising stars, retiring world class players, the new top players when the actual ones are declining... Nothing happens ever. It actually does something! When you have a player coming out their shirt sales will increase by a lot, thus helping out your finance, it does more than immersion, even if it only happens with newgens.
I'm not sure why this would need to be included in FIFA games though, it's not like we get WaG updates in the news and neither provide anything beneficial to the gameplay
As new players feel more and more comfortable finally coming out as gay, these types of articles will continue to be more consistent over time until society gets to a point where a gay footballer is no longer news.

Adding better speculation articles, articles about events in (generated, not real) players' personal lives, improved transfer drama, articles about rising talents, players out of form, managers getting the sack (unlikely seeing as none of the other managers are fake people), and even clickbait trash could make career mode far more immersive for players who want that. And for those who don't, they can always just ignore it.
Now, this isn't the most critical change as far as career mode is concerned. I'd love it as a gay FIFA player to see fake players come out in game (partially so I could amass a team of them), but I know it's not crucial. Fleshing out youth academies, international football, and perhaps adding the ability to play with womens' leagues are all features much higher up on my wishlist.
I always thought it would be cool for players to have scandals or current big events happen to them. Kinda like when kepa got broken up with in real life and his goal keeping got worse because of it. Or players getting suspended or fines because of there lives outside of football. Would definitely have to be with generated players so they don’t run into any legal problems.
