Bass, Crappie, Perch, Bluegill will all bite the small jigs. I use something similar for Perch and Crappie fishing. Small jig head works great.

Understand these are just a example. You’ll need to find a jig head/ hook that matches your small lures. Probably going to be very small Crappie jigs. Or as the person who responded said these will not fit your lures.
I actually caught a 28" pike off a jighead just like the 1/8th oz on the bottom right and a 1.5" white twister tail. I was surprised at the size of fish that took that little bait.
I todaso you can catch dinner on those things. My old man caught a ton of em last week he had enough to sell for liquor and smokes and a couple sticks of pepperoni
I normally fish live bait but the lures I do have are 1/16 I've caught everything from bluegill to bass on them large lures just means smaller fish have a problem taking the hook.
It’s a example I’m not telling anyone to go buy these exact ones. Just showing the type of jig heads you can use for the small plastic lures. I’m sure when he/she goes into a sporting goods store the person can tell what size of jig head they need.
I’ve caught 30in snook on white and pink soft plastics like this on a 1/16oz jig head when they are pounding glass minnows off the beach in Tampa beach area
Doesn't mean you will only catch tiny fish too. Caught this guy on a size 12 hook (1 gram BG-1).

You might be able to find it in your local store though
All these comments are right, also if you’re near saltwater you can chop off the ends of the tails and those are deadly on virtually any size or species

This guy is the master of SMALL swim baits. And is VERY knowledgeable about what he catches.
Very unique, to say the least.😂

1/32 oz jig I tied for crappie fishing
Maybe put them on a small shaky head jig and dance them along the bottom? Maybe this would mimic a critically injured fish and would trigger a fishes instinct to capitalize on the opportunity?
Jighead. You will catch everything with these. I like to rig 2 small plastics on the same line 8-12 inches apart with the higher one being on a floating jighead and the lower on a regular jig. Absolutely slays
Go to the store with em in your pocket, find jigs that match their size, then head out to just about any water and have a hell of time catch aggressive panfish after aggressive panfish. And then have your camera ready when some monster that seems wayyy too big to care about that bait to grab on 😂
Trim it I do that often works just fine. Keep it simple stupid!! No offense!! I don’t think a fish will notice the heads gone they chase the tails anyways!
Caught a 19.5" smallie on a 1.5" paddle tail this past sunday. A cheap jighead option is to use 1/8 oz tube heads and hit them with some nail polish for color. I don't even always bother sliding the bait up over the jig neck/keeper (because on bait this small, it can be a pain)- that gives them a little bit more size (1/8-1/4" length). Nose-hooking and using them as micro dropshot can also be a lot of fun.
Woah I’ve never used these 8 inch swimbaits (which are really too big for most….fish, 4-5 would be better and like 5 is average) I either Texas rig them weightless, put them on a weighted Texas Rig hook, or a swim jig.
they seem pretty average to me. Right guys?
Title is a typo, was meant to write Accidentally bought really **massive** lures, whats the best way to use them?
Didn’t know my wife had a Reddit account
I love these above average lures!
Right guys????
It's the motion in the ocean Or in the puddle?
I mean, you can clearly see that they reach the 2" mark. Two inches is not that small of a lure.
Dude. That's a 1 inch lure. Look again.
That went right over your head bud
r/whoosh
I see 1 and 2. 12 inches!!
Look huge
A lot of people say they’re more than adequate
Pan fishing.
Crappie

Were you surprised when it was actually a fish and not one of Ricky’s stolen bbqs?
I thought I was hooked on a friggin decent shopping cart but just caught a dirty bastard of a fish 😆
I todaso you can catch dinner on those things. My old man caught a ton of em last week he had enough to sell for liquor and smokes and a couple sticks of pepperoni
Water under the fridge at this point. Way of the road bubs
Hate to say it, but fuckin atodaso.
Pike I know destroy small white twister for some reason
I normally fish live bait but the lures I do have are 1/16 I've caught everything from bluegill to bass on them large lures just means smaller fish have a problem taking the hook.
And you'll catch bass with those too. They catch EVERYTHING.
You're definitely more likely to catch something with a small lure than a big lure
Those jigs are too big for a 1" bait. He needs 1/64
It’s a example I’m not telling anyone to go buy these exact ones. Just showing the type of jig heads you can use for the small plastic lures. I’m sure when he/she goes into a sporting goods store the person can tell what size of jig head they need.
Average size lures
I’ve caught 30in snook on white and pink soft plastics like this on a 1/16oz jig head when they are pounding glass minnows off the beach in Tampa beach area
We used these for Spanish mackerel in Florida too.
Snook and tarpon gobble these up.
Use them on a drop shot. All you need to do is slowly drag and the tail will do the rest
Yup
a ball head jig or a drop shot with a constant retrieve. Should be able to catch just about anything.
Mule fishing jig heads. https://www.mulefishing.com/collections/jigs/products/mule-jig
Drop shot, small jig heads, jig head under a float.
Get some jig heads from Ifish , he makes jig heads specially for panfish with size 10 and 12 hooks. They would be perfect for these lures
Doesn't mean you will only catch tiny fish too. Caught this guy on a size 12 hook (1 gram BG-1). https://preview.redd.it/sjbdr4u8ks4d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=255159a27456789d88cf732f75305af6ceb380d3
This is exactly why I downsize. Catch some nice ones on micro lures /light line. Nice smallie!
Great colors on that smallie, very nice
https://ifishtackle.com/collections/jigs Victor is a great guy, and Tennessee local.
Definitely this
I'd use an owner mosquito hook and rig it with a drop shot weight. Panfish will tear them up in no time.
Drop shot
Ultra Light rod with a 1000 size reel with 4lb line. I'd target panfish and trout with these.
The big ones hurt. These are perfect.
a 1/64oz jig head, or a 1/31oz if you cant get it out enough or they aren't sinking, with 6lb braid, and a 6lb fluro leader. Bingo baby
Where did you get these? I'd love to throw these on some road runners

Umbrella rig
Really tiny jig heads
Catch tiny fish
This is perfect for what I do
All these comments are right, also if you’re near saltwater you can chop off the ends of the tails and those are deadly on virtually any size or species
You can catch big trout on these
Put small jig heads in them or fish on a drop shot. They will catch fish for sure.
Bluegill and sunfish fishing
Those look like fine lures. Maybe even too big
Keychain :D
I promise crappie will smash them all with yer
https://youtube.com/@extremephillyfishing?si=oZ6JY5R0HomMb7Bk This guy is the master of SMALL swim baits. And is VERY knowledgeable about what he catches. Very unique, to say the least.😂
Save them and fish them on a drop shot or leadhead when you find that the fish are keyed in on tiny bait
r/microfishing
If you have no proper gear to cast tiny jigheads, go for three way rig. Should work fine
Put them on a 1/24th oz jig, about 3 feet under a small bobber and cast around shorelines and trees in the water for crappie.
Use them with little tiny jig heads. 1/16th or 1/8th of an ounce.
Where did you buy these from? I think I might actually get use out of something like that
REALLY BIG hooks
To catch tiny fish
No shame in admitting you are targeting bluegills lol
https://preview.redd.it/b7jpj9aylt4d1.jpeg?width=3468&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c9981a7e5825413ae228508a56c49dfbcd7c9452 1/32 oz jig I tied for crappie fishing
Put em on a nicro jighead and catch some snapper
Ummmmmmm, everything. Big fish will grab any size
Go fishing
I use those ice fishing on my 1/32 oz tungstun jig heads.
I need this in my life. Where did you get those? Link pls?
Melt them and mold into one big wacky bait
Those are my favorite bodies to put on a 1/32 oz underspin jighead
Really tiny jig heads.
1/640z jigs with a size 8 hook
Crappie
With really tiny hooks or jigheads
Sure there are a ton of comments now. But pan fish, crappie and bass. I’ve even had good success with channel cat as well.
put hooks in them.
Croppy fishing bluegill to bass smaller lures just means the fish don't have to be as big.
Trailer on a mini jig
drop shot
Catch big fish
Put em on a pan fish sized jig. And swim em.
Umbrella rigs they’re perfect
They work really well for perch. Use them with a small jig head, preferably on a ultra light setup.
Drop shot.
1 cm or 1" ? Take them for Trouts or small Bass / Perch
You use these sized lures in spring time during “THE HATCH” it’s called - match the hatch !!
Crappies will hit that all year from my experience. Throw me on a jig head and see what happens
With a hook
r/microfishing
These on some 1/64th jigs would destroy a good nest of bluegill and crappie.
You'd be surprised
Crappie!
Use them for fishing
Perfect size for panfish jigs actually
Where’d you get these ? I want some
Good size for jigging crappie!
Size doesn’t matter, it’s all about how you jiggle it
Yellow perch would go crazy for them
Drop shotting for perch 😉
Maybe put them on a small shaky head jig and dance them along the bottom? Maybe this would mimic a critically injured fish and would trigger a fishes instinct to capitalize on the opportunity?
Jighead. You will catch everything with these. I like to rig 2 small plastics on the same line 8-12 inches apart with the higher one being on a floating jighead and the lower on a regular jig. Absolutely slays
Crappie
Put on a small jig and hairpin spinner (beetle spin). Great for panfishing
Jig heads or on smaller hooks that fit them
use jighead and bounce em on the bottom
Drop shotting
Go to the store with em in your pocket, find jigs that match their size, then head out to just about any water and have a hell of time catch aggressive panfish after aggressive panfish. And then have your camera ready when some monster that seems wayyy too big to care about that bait to grab on 😂

On a hook and line
It’s funny. I’ve caught large fish on small tackle and small fish on big tackle. You just never know.
Beetle spinners
Nose plugs for when you forget you had fish and or bait in the cooler
You have to use them to catch the larger lures.
Size 12 mosquito hooks on a dropshot or tiny jighead
Maybe you could use em to catch bigger lures?
I’d fish with them
1/64th ounce jighead
Jig head 1/8 with ultra light rod and reel with maybe 6 or 8lb line.
Caught a 19.5" smallie on a 1.5" paddle tail this past sunday. A cheap jighead option is to use 1/8 oz tube heads and hit them with some nail polish for color. On a double high low with weedless or just larger bait holder hooks on a drop shot.
Woah I’ve never used these 8 inch swimbaits (which are really too big for most….fish, 4-5 would be better and like 5 is average) I either Texas rig them weightless, put them on a weighted Texas Rig hook, or a swim jig.
Drop shot.
Just throw them out….
Long shank hook and a Fly rod .
My wife said those are perfect, the big ones scare the fish
Crappie jigging.
with a tiny fishing pole.
They seem pretty average to me.. Right guys?
Crappie
Melt them down and make one humongous one
Tie them together.
I fish little tube baits about that size for crappies. The blue and silver ones with sparkles seem to work well
For really tiny fish 🐟
Hamster dildoes
Small fly, big fish.
Get a bfs rod
Fill every hole of your body with them and try and sneeze
Drop shot, make sure you’re throwing with a spinner because you’ll just backlash on a bait caster.
Fish tank of an 8 yr old
Either, crappie, bluegill/perch, or use them as trailers on your spinnerbaits, jigs, chaterbaits or whatever for some added profile and action.
Elephants eat peanuts
They were in the pool!
I don't use small plastics like this , but I'd imagine a small jig head or a tiny drop shot. Am I right boys?
Tiny fish?
Zappu Bredy #3 underspins might work for weedless presentation w/ some flash. Or small jigheads. Or beetle spins.
