How do you find the comfort of using track grips on mtb handlebar? I've been considering those, my ony thought is they might be too thin. I am used to lock on grips and they provide little extra thickness I guess.

These Origin8 ones feel a little thicker than the Strong V’s… I think you’d find em comparable to Vans in terms of cushion.

Exactly! So is there some material science based engineering behind it or it's the science of cool?

If you took out about two or three links of chain you would be able to bring the wheel into that gap. Probably fit for a 19-25 maximum size and you would get better drive of the back wheel from your hamstring and butt muscles without the wheel touching that part of the frame

Tire size 23 ish cc. bring the wheel as close in the drop outs as possible as close to the seat tube as possible

So it's for shortening the wheel base if desired so. Damn.

How deep could that rear wheel go with that hole on the seat tube?

I’m running a 35 on the back and there’s about 15mm of space between it and the back of the chainstay yoke. It can go deep enough that your see it in front of the seat tube in side view 🫣
