Definitely Cobalt Blue. They shouldâve made him a full season big bad with a few filler episodes. Wouldâve loved to seen him use blue flames like in the comics.
I didn't just mean that. I meant the time remnant of Thawne. The one who redeemed himself and died a good man. There's so much they could've done with that, and it could've been such a great chance to show Matt Letscher's acting chops as two different versions of Thawne. If Tom Cavanagh could play two different Wells in the same episode, why not two different Thawnes?
-Reverse Flash origin story needed to be a full story-arc, not something we just got some exposition on.
-Eddie as Cobalt Blue *definitely* needed to be fleshed out a bit more.
-Original Harrison Wells needed to have a long arc and actually deal with what happened to him and Tess, rather than just being a generic Wells with undefined 'time' powers.
-Godspeed, and the whole idea of the Godspeed war, for sure needed more fleshing out.
-The impact of Crisis on the timeline and on past characters/events really needed more focus.
-How Jay Garrick and Joan survived Crisis and came to live on Earth Prime in the future *definitely* needed to be addressed.
-Flashpoint needed to be *at least* two episodes, with Barry having a stronger motivation to undo it.
If you ask like this I think I wouldnt be too far off if I said the entire show, the early seasons are a lot more watchable to me then what ever the fuck the final seasons were, but they still had a lot of things that needed a bit more thought for consistency's sake. But the worst offenders in my book are the forces and the newer speedsters aka red death, Eddie and Godspeed. At times the show feels like in one paragraph they are going one way just to go another in the verry next one like with bringing Eobard back for 50 billion times, like when he killed godspeed, I mean that was a thing in the comics, that he killed Godspeed and in the finally they didnt do anything with either how they worked together in the comics (the same story in which Godspeed dies to Thawne after working with Barry) or heck even the fact that Godspeed was murdered by Eobard. Or the dynamics between the different speedsters there were lets say nonexistant
Cobalt blue was so badly executed. The way I envisioned it was when Barry went back and talked to his parents, and they revealed what happened when Nora gave birth. Barry goes further back in time to see his brother but sees what really happened. That's when it's revealed to him that said baby is Eddie. Read Cobalt blue background if you're confused lol
Speedforce lightsabers, this should have been introduced in S3. in the final battle, barry would try to throw a lightning to savitar but he would accidentally grab it mid air, turning it into a speedforce saber (you can't tell me "but he can't grab a thrown lightning", ZOOM DID IT IN S2), he would use it to melee fight with savitar's blades while chasing him (then when barry goes to the speedforce in S3 finale, he could master the ability and by the start of S4 he should be able to call the sword/saber on demand)
Godspeed. That whole storyline should've fit the entire Seventh Season but we got the Forces forced into the season. Especially Deathstorm way too short. They screwed Ronnie over yet again.
Kinda cool we even got cobalt blue, I remember everyone back when Eddie died was theorizing that Eddie would come back as cobalt blue. His suit looks just like a photoshop I saw way back in the day.
Reverse flash origin story
I mean Season 7-8 they showed his origin story
No they told it to us not actually made it an arc
They told us, they never showed it. We all know in movies/tv it's show don't tell
Now they for one told us in season 2, at the end of Armagedon they told us a new origin story but never was it on screen
Told, not showed.
Red Death. Because wtf was that? It was so poorly developed and rushed
I. AM. VENGEANCE.đ
One of the worst things Iâve ever seen on tv
I never laughed so hard when a villain introduced itself before this happened
Who tf signed off on that! Cringiest part of an already cringey season
Made me wanna shrivel into the corner
I've only seen clips, but it wasn't that bad. I'll judge when I see it all the way through, but from what I saw, it was ok, not great, but ok.
Definitely Cobalt Blue. They shouldâve made him a full season big bad with a few filler episodes. Wouldâve loved to seen him use blue flames like in the comics.
Pretty much everything from season 7 to season 9.
Caitlin and her dad. I wish we wouldâve seen more of the creation of Frost and why the ice personalities default to evil unless taught.
The JL Should have been more flushed out
I wish they could make Diggle a Green Lantern but they couldn't get the rights to use the character, so no Lanterns point blank
Eddie would have been in like season 3. But heâs been dead for like 8 years I no longer care
Eddie as Cobalt Blue couldâve been a good big bad for S3 or S5 imo with him using blue flames like in the comics.
Flashpoint Thawne. There was so much potential there, and they chose to waste his potential after barely two episodes.
You can cut Thawne from this, the entirety of Flashpoint needed more work

Flashpoint
I can't think of an idea that needed more time to develop, but I think âChellegraâ has too much time.
Flashpoint
I think they need create full season about this, not only 4 episodes
Iris dying
Chronarch or whatever their name was
Two words: Rogue War. We kinda got it in S9, but because Eric was busy dumping all of his ideas at once, it got mixed into Red Death
Eddie in the cobalt blue suit he looked skinny as he'll in that suit
They way they portrayed Red Death....I literally took that personally, how pathetic can you make a badass Character?!
Honestly I don't look at any of them as under developed I see a lot of what happen in the last season and a half as small retcons

Armageddon Event. Godspeed. Cobalt Blue.
