I liked it. For once, we are able to go back to that night in a somewhat wholesome yet bittersweet moment, one of my favorite scenes in season 5

SecretaryOk7306

This was a great scene and what kept me watching the show. If they stuck to this stuff more, this show would be even more legendary

Sableorpheus62

This scene does 100 percent of what it’s supposed to emotionally and narratively for those of us who know she’s working with Eobard. I think this is a 10/10 scene.

SecretaryOk7306

Yes! Plus it shows that Barry is at peace knowing what happened to his parents and Nora hasn't learned that lesson yet.

Alternative_Device71

I wouldn’t say he’s at peace cuz he’s still bothered by it, he’s probably accepted it at this point tho

Elhmok

too bad they botched it by dragging it on for another 12 episodes

From here perspective, Barry is near or in his fifties. It was their best writing, as soon as Jessica Kennedy showed up a server. Nailed the "this is Barry's kid." Later on they broke everything, as soon as Nora ceased to be, continue on with alt twins, or a son. Let the weight of losing a child to oblivion stick. Would be great for people who re watch, remember Nora, reversing time. She was cool. But Nora just comes back, more silly, less interesting.

Simply accept she is another Nora, the same face but a very different life

The reason the flash is my favourite superhero is to have all the power in the world but still use it to help others rather than achieve the life he wants even though he can . There is a quote from 7x01 when barry was brooding and making himself feel responsible for the death of all the wells to give him his speed then Joe west tells him , “ the greatest weapon against darkness isn't our superpowers or superspeed, it is our humanity ” .

Smart-Preparation-40

and is also the reason why i like the flash more than any other superhero a hero would sacrifice you to save the world a villain would destroy the world to save the ones he loves barry showed me the true meaning of being a hero and that even in the darkest times hope still shines and that its okay to fail barry is the true meaning of a real hero saving everyone and his loved ones even at his lowest points he still didnt give up being a hero

TopConflict1411

Great scene

I still get surprised when I remember Jessica is older than Grant & Candice. She's got such a child-like voice and she still looks super young too.
