i tried playing the game solely for the soundtrack and couldn’t play more than a few hours of it. idk if it’s because i haven’t played any other FF games but it felt like i was thrown into a world with zero explanation of what’s happening and suddenly i’m traveling with a party of 4 generic anime boys
Yeah it is kinda jarring (does not help with the first scene) but I found the second scene with the king kinda explained a tiny bit of “okay this is going on” and then bam the pacing was all over the place. Not the best game plot wise (does get better I found character wise) but eh I’m having fun

When Light of Love was released, I was working in a smaller, suburban hospital during the height of COVID. That song still means so much to me when I think back to that year. What a beautiful tribute to the era.
I was a public defender for two years before leaving. A 22 year old client nearly died of an OD before a meeting with me. I saved her. She went to rehab and I really thought she would make it. She died 206 days after the OD I saw. When I hear Light of Love I see her face.
I wish the HBHBHB target exclusives "Pure Feeling" and "Conductor" were available anywhere else. Both great.

Pure Feeling is like one of my all-time favourite FATM songs but it was never released in my country and, to this day, if i hadn’t randomly stumbled on it on YouTube I wouldn’t even know it exists. Such a tragedy! It’s probably one of my most played songs on Spotify, but it never counts on any of my end-of-year lists because I just have an mp3 of it which i downloaded illegally because there was genuinely no legitimate way for me to get that song.
I was able to get it in the US (and so glad I did, it's one of my favorites, too) and I had ripped the mp3 and uploaded it to Amazon Music back when they allowed personal uploads. Luckily using YouTube Music now and people have uploaded it as a video that I can use lol
I love her movie soundtrack songs. In fact, Call Me Cruella got me listening to Florence back in 2021 (I also bought the soundtrack on vinyl solely because she was on it 😂). Wish That You Were Here from Ms. Peregrine’s is also still one of my favorites. Moderation is one of my favorites too. I’m not sure how much Queen of Peace comes up but that’s another I’d include.
