I live in a really hilly area of eastern tennessee. 37 to 38 average on the hybird. I drive 3 days a week interstate at 70mph for 40 miles. That eats gas in comparison to my city driving.
I live in the flatter areas of the country and my average is also the same! I drive ~3days/week 74-80 one way miles commute tho. Do 148-180miles every time I drive in to work. Varying routes from 55mph to 75mph.
23 XLT 2.0 Ecoboost - over 3200 miles driven since buying used with 30k miles. I set the trip odometer when I left the dealer lot day one, and it has averaged 28.6mpg since then. Fairly even mix of small town, city, and interstate driving.

Northern Alberta with a 22 Ecoboost Lariat here, almost all highway driving as I have a commute of 80km each way. Cold temps and idling while cold (-20 and under) really reduce your mileage but overall as you can see 8.59l/100km average isnāt bad over 88567km driven. \~7.2 is probably the typical summer average, I can pull more data if you are interested, I track everything.
XLT 4k. 23 driving to work mixed citry/freeway. Just got back from a trip and had 28. Numbers are calculated (and cluster estimates adjusted down). While I don't mash the gas pedal, I am an aggressive driver. Green means go, typically 5-10 over the posted limit and the freeway trip was the cruise set at 80 mph
23 xlt hyrbid mainly highway driving. Lowest I get is 34 to 36 mpg, but up to 38-40 mpg. I don't baby the truck and try to get max mpg or anything. I'm also in Texas. Less than 1 year ownership already have 18k miles.
22 to 27 mpg on fwd, mostly city . It really depends on how you hit the gas pedal and the roads you take.
If I was consistently above 50 mph it would be more like 32-35 mpg.
I drive a XLT hybrid about 12000 miles so far. Averaging about 42 mpg. My daily drive is about 70% highway (but mostly in traffic which the hybrid loves). Live in southern California so also haven't had to worry about how much weather changes the mileageĀ
I'm in Toronto with an XLT Eco. Seem to average about 8.5L/100 with a mix of city and highway. If I do pure highway driving, I've gotten it down all the way to 6.0L/100km. Obviously winter is a bit higher but not by much
2023 Hybrid XLT, live in Michigan, I got about 36 mpg in the winter. Lately I've been averaging around 41 (!!!), I'm curious to see if that stays all summer
24 flat Awd, 4k Tow eco. Shit traffic highways and streets. But I don't use my AC or heater. Not that I don't want it to lower my mpg. Just never really used it much regardless of what I drive
One month shy of 1 year of ownership. About 7k miles on it
I drive 25 miles one way to work.Ā With my awd 2.0 ecoboost, with 4k tow package,Ā I get like 28mpg in the winter and about 30 in the warmer weather.Ā If I start doing a lot of stop and start city driving it drops to about 24mpg
Hi, 24 Lariat Hybrid out in BC. I daily it and my driving is almost entirely city, with an average commute of about 14km one way. I average at about 6.4l/100km so far.
Depends on how you drive
In my hybrid (Southern, BC) I get around 5L/100km in the city and between 6-7L/100km on the highway. My average over the last year and 9 months has been 5.1L/100km.
I live in Ontario and have the XLT Hybrid deluxe package. I drive fairly split between city and highway. When the weather is warmer Iām getting around 850km on a tank. During the winter that drops to around 680. Winter is rougher on the mileage, truck has to work harder, winter tires arenāt as good on mileage and if you want heat itās running the engine more.
That being said my last car was a 6spd Mazda 5 and it was getting around 400-500km on a tank of mixed driving or about 700 straight highway.
If you are concerned about saving gas the Hybrid is awesome. Went from filling up every 7-10 days to going about 2 weeks. I donāt run it near empty before filling up.
For last winter, which was pretty mild in Ontario, the Hybrid with winters was great, plenty of confidence in snow. Far better than my previous 5 with winters. The ride help of the Maverick helps and the length gives it nice stability without being so long that the backend feels light.
Hybrid gets like 37-42 mpg. And generally between 40-41 90% of the time
Ecoboost FWD gets me about 22mpg real world suburban driving (city) if Iām blasting AC. However I use it much differently than an average driver in that context. With significant or regular freeway driving mixed in itās probably closer to like 24.5 mpg.
If you live in a place with longer country roads/highways, itāll probably get you over 26 pretty reliably
I've got XLT EcoBoost with tow package and I average 9L/100km combined city and highway. Best I got was driving to Calgary and got it down to 6.7L
https://preview.redd.it/ef014a6sqi1d1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=653bfb67ed2a51dcf5c95af040d565218191390a
I just hit 5000 miles today with my '24 Ford Maverick. It has averaged 26 MPG since my ownership.
I put premium in the tank with the last fuel up, and have averaged 28 MPG. On longer road trips, I get between 29-33 MPG.
'24 Maverick, AWD.
It's actually kinda odd. So with an unloaded trailer it "pulses", for the lack of a better term. It's like the hybrid system doesn't know what to do. But if I put it in tow mode the pulsing immediately stops. Other than that oddity it handles the trailer fine. The truck is actually pretty quick and you don't even hardly notice the trailer is back there unless it is heavily loaded or tow mode isn't on. Probably most I've had on it is 3k lbs. I had 10 16ft 2x10s and a couch I moved 30 miles last weekend, trailer was barely noticeable. I'm super happy with the hybrid/fwd combo.
With that same trailer on I pulled it through a wet field where my dads 2wd Tacoma had gotten stuck the previous day and the Maverick didn't even struggle to pull the trailer through it.
EPA numbers is not ābest caseā as Iāve always bested EPA numbers in every car Iāve owned. Itās all down to driving habits.
Anyways lariat hybrid. 65% highway, lifetime (34k miles) -43.1 MPG
Best tank - 51.5
I have 23k on the clock and the average is 44.5 MPG / 5.28L/100 for a hybrid engine. The thing is ... do you need to pull a trailer and how heavy it is? If yes, then you go by non-hybrid. Good luck!
Edit: for the last 3 mo, I did an experiment and used only non ethanol 91/93 octane gas... I can tell that I noticed an increase of approx 8-10%. Summers are better than winters tho
I live in western NY mostly Rural driving at 55mph with some highway 65mph and town 30-35mph. I just got my first full fuel tank reading and averaged 41mpg last week with the Hybrid.
My lifetime MPG says 42 since December 1st 2023.
Since it's normally pretty warm in the mornings now, my commute says between 49 and 52 by the time I get to work.

Ecoboost AWD Lifted 2in, Larger Tires and Roof Tent and Bed Rack. 22-24mpg city and 26-27mpg hwy. Towing, 16-19mpg. If you donāt have a lead foot, should be okay.
22 hybrid - Around 38-42mpg City, 34mpg highway. Although we are sort of rural so "city" on those figures is a bit of a stretch. In the actual city part we are closer to 48mpg.

This was first road trip right after I got it. All bc highway Kamloops to fort Saint John, but around the hilly city/highway area I live in it gets closer to 9L/100km sometimes up to 10 if Iām speeding around.
Edit: 2022 xlt awd 4Ktow. Couple years later now and still getting around the same
I do a lot of highway driving 80+ mph and I average 34 in the hybrid. I also donāt really try and get better fuel mileage, Iām sure it would be better if I did.
23 xl hybrid in Florida. averaging 41+ mpg overall. I live on a barrier island and routinely get 50+ mpg driving around town. drops to 35ish for the highway commute to work. sometimes, I wish the bed and the back row were a little bigger, but overall, I love it.
I've had both a 22 and now a 24 Mav hybrid. Doing real world calculations, I've averaged 36-37mpg with both. I drive more 55mph+ roads than city, for sure.
My hybrid truck in about 1800 miles is at an average of 35.5mpg. I picked it up in the winter here in Michigan. So most of my driving is in the cold and snow. In the last 200 miles or so my fuel economy has improved dramatically. I am up to an average of around 45mpg. I expect the whole summer to be even better. I have hit multiple 50-55mpg trips. I also rarely drive on the highway and drive in rural towns mostly. Normally less than 20 mile trips. I have hauled quite a bit with it moving furniture and things around in the bed. Havw not noticed any drop in MPG while doing so.
AWD Lariat ecoboost 29-33 mpg. Theoretically I could probably squeeze a little more out of her, but I just can't drive 55. She gets pretty comfortable around that speed
Im getting 24.6 mostly city with Ecoboost
I live in a really hilly area of eastern tennessee. 37 to 38 average on the hybird. I drive 3 days a week interstate at 70mph for 40 miles. That eats gas in comparison to my city driving.
Mountains of Western NC here, probably do more stop and go than you do. I get 45-47 mpg combined on a full tank Edited to clarify hybrid 2023 model
Yeah if I didn't have to drive 26, 3 days a week then I'd get this easy.
Always avoid 26 if I can, stay safe brother š«”
