Was it Frasier? I thought it was Cheers where Frasier found out he dated the woman when him & Lilith brought Frederick to a live show and she kissed him when she recognized him.
There is a good documentary on YouTube about this show. The people who made it came from Jim Hensons studios and were real trying to help

It was probably both. I remember Frasier being dressed up as a baby with Laurie Metcalf on Frasier. The character was Nana G
Nana G was definitely on a Cheers episode (S10E16) and it was Emma Thompson that played the character.
