I was hoping Owen's Western Wear would be a geographical clue but I think it went out of business so long ago that it doesn't even exist on the internet.
I still feel like it’s near Bakersfield or that part of California. They had those western stores out there. I need to ask my aunt if they had that specific name. It’s the last name of that country western singer that was from Bakersfield that had Western stores back in the 70s 80s and 90s but you can’t find hardly anything on it anymore.
Possibly, but keep in mind RCA Victor is the name of a company in the USA. Remember the logo of the dog, listening to record playing with a quote that said, hearing his owners voice?
Does it say Irry Family on shirt last pic? Not too many on ancestry so you might have luck if it is. It said Georgia but I don't have an account. Edit: I now think it says Irby and there are plenty on ancestry
I have no idea unfortunately but they look like such a happy family!! I’m sure someone would be so grateful to have these pictures back
Edit: with there being some pics of backgrounds/some old stored you should totally post this on r/helpmefind or r/RBI
Polaroids were popular in the 70’s. The car the clothing is very 70’s, maybe eighties. I wonder if IRBY could be Kirby family, but it doesn’t look like there’s a K. I think that RCA Victor was a TV store, kind of like a Best Buy now. We had less electronics. I see a Quasar sign above it. It was a type of tv. Quasar became Panasonic in ‘74.
Pic 10 looks a lot like a friend of mine if she was a child. I highly doubt it’s her, but they look ridiculously similar. I’ve been seeing a wild amount of doppelgängers for people I know recently, in person and online lol.
Irby family. I’ve found some Irby names on Facebook. Look there!

I’m pretty sure they were out in the desert of California. My family lived in Victorville in the 70s and 80s and I think I see RCA Victorville
Good eye!
If it completely says that.. Victorville has a lot of western stores its horse country
That sign’s gonna be RCA Victor (not Victorville) ….. so we’re looking at a record store or an electronics store

The photos do “feel” California - Buck Owens and his Bakersfield sound would be proud

Did you sell these on eBay or buy them on eBay? The Polaroid of the parking lot was sold on eBay on May 22nd.
I bought them!
Fun!
Wow. Neat internet stuff!
Sorry if this is a dumb question, but is buying random polaroids a thing?
For some people yes!!
Thats so interesting! Is it the family from the photos selling them or somebody else that found them?
Someone pls i wanna know

I’m imagining the family photographer really knew how to make people smile. These are so sweet and natural.

Great photos and you’re great for wanting to return ❤️
Bump!!
What do you mean?
It's just a way to push the post to the top so more people can see it.
Does bump work on Reddit?
I think OP just means that more comments = more notice. Not literally bumping it up.
Wow these are great, I bet they would love to have to em back
