In my mocks I wrote 4 pages for the whole thing while my friend filled four 8 page booklets, guess who got the better grade: me, and yet he still writes thousands of pages per exam. Quality over quantity
13 pages. ย i felt nothing. and still am feeling nothing. is that normal.ย ย
edit: about 4 for an inspector calls, about 5 for jekyll and hyde and 4 for unseen poetryย
I've asked the invigilator and the two of them said it might just have to be 0 marks. The English department and the examination office are scrambling for a meeting to work out what happens but ultimately it's down to the exam board and whether they deem if there was enough time after it crashed to restart (which 15 minutes wasn't really enough time but oh well)
I did hear that it would go back to mock results (which was a U anyways) and if not, back to "teachers marking" but I doubt it
Why was your mock a U? I'm assuming that in these circumstances they'll likely use mock results and get your teacher to predict what your grade would've been by the actual exam submit evidence to back up their prediction.
A page for the eight marker? You can get 8/8 just with one paragraph I'm pretty certain, you should've invested that writing into the poetry probably, but oh well, at least you guaranteed 8 marks for yourself lol.
i finished on page 9 or 10 but i basically did nothing for the last question i did a thesis statement and then i wrote about 3 lines about each poem bc my hand hurt so i gave up and i didnt write anything for the last 15 minutes
I wrote on 11 pages but not all of those were full pages. Ultimately thatโs a pointless question, as people write differently sized handwriting so Iโll just talk about that instead:
For AIC, I did an intro, conclusion and 4 other paragraphs (although it might be important to mention one of those paragraphs was nearly 2 pages long).
For P&C, I did an intro, three comparative paragraphs and a conclusion.
For Unseen Part one, I did an intro and 2 paragraphs.
And finally for Unseen Part two, I did an intro and 3 paragraphs.
what points did you make about the unseen part one and part two. I interpreted the second poem as human kinds inability to take accountability for their actions
I interpreted Poem 1 being about how tedious daily life and that connecting with the beauty of nature is the only relief we can have to get away from it all.
I intercepted Poem 2 as being about change; despite how beautiful and wondrous life is now, things change and we need to be able to accept them for what they are. The transient nature of the seasons.
I finished an extra booklet thing and got a second one but did about half a page on that (didnโt get to finish my second paragraph on the 8 marker lol)
15 ish because I skipped a bit of space after doing a question just in case I needed to come back. Literally did not stop writing excpet to analyse the poems for like a min and I was sweating because it was so intense. Didn't have enough time to finish tho and was almost done with aic when time ran out because I spent too long on the others
I did about ten pages, my mate did a solid two pages on four questions and the funny thing is the night before the exam he was saying how kamikaze is the only poem he knows
The entire booklet plus extra page๐ I wrote way too much for Aic and poem got like 20 mins left for unseen wrote one line for the last question IM FINISHEDDD
I did 13 but someone in my school did 24 ๐
I did 6 for seen poetry, 4 for Inspector, 2 and a bit for unseen poetry and then 3/4 of a page for the comparison
7 ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ reading these answers making me realise how shit I did ๐
Nah you're good, anything over 10 is overkill in my opinion. Quality > Quantity.
Dw i waffled a shit ton of bs so ur safe
In my mocks I wrote 4 pages for the whole thing while my friend filled four 8 page booklets, guess who got the better grade: me, and yet he still writes thousands of pages per exam. Quality over quantity
4 8-page booklets??? That's like a line every 10 seconds if my maths is right. wtf???
6-7
15 But I've got huge handwriting

18๐ I had to ask for an extra answer booklet
EIGHTEEN??
I yap a lot๐ญ

2 and 1/2 for An Inspector Calls, 2 for Power and Conflict, 1 and 1/2 for unseen poetry. so 6.
i do it on computer so 3.5k words
I did 3030 but did Mr Birling and not Mrs Birling so im cooked
๐
Trust me my thesis is 100% good enough to get 30 marks on its own, no cope
if u dont answer the question the most u can get is like 15 + 4
Level 2s the limit I think
Yeah that would be about 10 pages.
depends on ur word size tho but ur roughly right
I did 3.5k words. My highest so far has been 4.4k words on rs2 and I doubt I'll go over that.
Omg you can do it on computer???โ๏ธ๐ญ lucky you!! My hand is actuallg is dead ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ
13 pages. ย i felt nothing. and still am feeling nothing. is that normal.ย ย edit: about 4 for an inspector calls, about 5 for jekyll and hyde and 4 for unseen poetryย
What did you talk about for the unseen?
what did you write for the unseen??
U mean poetry?

Nope ๐
Bro chillll
same bro ๐ญ 16 pages
I did 6 what do some of you mean you had to ask for a new booklet ๐ญ
Did have about 6 but ended up at 0 as the laptop I was using crashed and all the work is gone...
What's going to happen next for you? Surely you don't zero on the exam and you retake it?
I've asked the invigilator and the two of them said it might just have to be 0 marks. The English department and the examination office are scrambling for a meeting to work out what happens but ultimately it's down to the exam board and whether they deem if there was enough time after it crashed to restart (which 15 minutes wasn't really enough time but oh well) I did hear that it would go back to mock results (which was a U anyways) and if not, back to "teachers marking" but I doubt it
Bro if it fr goes to 0 marks thatโs so bait cos itโs completely not ur fault
Why was your mock a U? I'm assuming that in these circumstances they'll likely use mock results and get your teacher to predict what your grade would've been by the actual exam submit evidence to back up their prediction.

About 2k words
I did like 4, but my handwriting is really small so that's about 6 pages from someone that has average sized handwriting
4 for AIC, 1 and a half for seen poetry (pray for me๐ญ), 2 for unseen poetry and abt a page for the 8 marker
A page for the eight marker? You can get 8/8 just with one paragraph I'm pretty certain, you should've invested that writing into the poetry probably, but oh well, at least you guaranteed 8 marks for yourself lol.
pretty much the same as op
8...
9 but everyone says my handwriting is tiny
i got small ass handwriting so 6.5 pages if i had bigger handwriting definitely the full booklet-ish
i finished on page 9 or 10 but i basically did nothing for the last question i did a thesis statement and then i wrote about 3 lines about each poem bc my hand hurt so i gave up and i didnt write anything for the last 15 minutes

15 ish because I skipped a bit of space after doing a question just in case I needed to come back. Didn't have enough time to finish tho and was almost done with aic when time ran out because I spent too long on the others

16, I actually had two more sentences to write but I was too lazy to ask for a new booklet so that probably cost me a few marks off the 8 marker.
