I think the main issue is that if the FCC gives starlink the ability to use their spectrum, it gives apple a way to terminate their contract and potentially use starlink. I'm honestly not sure it matters much though because probably by the end the end of 2025 anyone with Verizon and ATT will be able to sign up for service with spacemobile and have actual broadband connection not just the ability to sent a text. I do think starlink will be able to do voicecalls as well. Globalstar's value seems limited to them owning their MSS spectrum but technology wise do they have a way to compete with spacemobile and starlink? If they lose their sole ownership of the spectrum it seems like they will be fucked.

There’s no way FCC is giving starlink spectrum from gsat. I think if they want it they need to pay up

Monroe needs to give 'em that Hawk Tuah and spit on that thang 😜

Didn’t the FCC already deny Starlinks request to use some of GSAT’s spectrum???

They don’t deny their request to use GSAT spectrum they denied their approach to file a request the way they did which ultimately shut it down short term. Fast forward to present day SpaceX is formally ask the FCC to reevaluate the Big Leo format from 2007. If you want to follow this whole saga look at this https://www.fcc.gov/ecfs/search/search-filings/results?q=(proceedings.name:(%22RM-11975%22))
