For real. When I was first playing through GTA V, I completely forgot Stretch as a character until the very end when you kill him. He’s only ever in missions at the very beginning and isn’t seen until the very end.
Yeap, all bout how Franklin owns him money for the Pyramid Shceme, I mean, Gang. So I'm pretty sure the devs had to cut a lot of his content and ideas to make the final version of the game.
Should have more roles though making him a big scary OG sending hitmen gangsters against Franklin and Lamar. He's an OG after all making him look like an actual threat.
Like maybe having a Madrazo Effect to Michael and Trevor. Only Franklin would not be able to travel around Davis area or else endless gangsters will attack him.

Yeah, he's what happens when you 'stretch' a 69 mission game over 3 characters. Every antagonist in V was extremely forgettable, but especially this one.
I guess they wanted a kind of parallel to Big Smoke for Franklin, but we see Stretch for 5 minutes and immediately know he's an antagonist. It's like if B-Dup was a main villain in San Andreas, lol.

He needed something that made him feel like he did something. He was a NPC in one level where he was a whiny bitch, and after that you have some optional phone calls and one cutscene. He feels like more of a plot device that gets bumped off in ending C for some reason rather than an actual character. It's like swatting at a pest rather than disposing of a legitimate threat.
My problems with him are the same with a lot of GTA 5’s antagonists. He had too little screen time, as you only see him in the Long Stretch than just hear him mention cause a lot of shit only to kill him in the last mission.
Nah, Micah has way more depth because we grow to hate him by watching him make dumb decisions, act like a dick around camp, and eventually cause the downfall of the gang by manipulating Dutch into trusting his every word.
Stretch is a dollar store Big Smoke who has 5 minutes max of screen time.
He is a perfect example of a old head who never made it in his time so he eats off the young Gs plate that man was 19 during the events of GTA SA let that sink in and that shows how much of a deadbeat this guy really was he's 5 years younger than cj and most likely one of the first cgf members which might of been created after cj departed after all chamberlain hills in San Andreas seems to be on the ballas territory and in the end is most likely taken over in the territory wars fought by cj in 92 after gsf influence disappeared gangs most likely took certain territories back or took new territories and with Grove Street abndonded which was the stronghold the new green territories on the other side of the hood probably became the new stronghold with ballas taken Grove Street and building their influence on that side which is why Yu see the switch of hoods in GTA 5 that's my thoughts on stretch and my theory on how the gangs transformed to the new era
He does have one interaction with Franklin that makes me laugh like I’m in grade school again:
“I’m more of a hidin’ in plain sight type of n****.”
“No, you more of a punk ass bitch type n****.”
