San Andreas. First GTA game I ever owned and beat in like 5th grade? I still go back to that game cause I love it so much. The NPCs, customization, the memorable characters like Tenpenny, big smoke and the truth, the 3 cities. The desert, the jetpack. I could go on. I think it has a great storyline, not the best for a GTA game but definitely still S tier. Ill try and do 2 play through a years. One as ripped and one as fat CJ lol.
My other one is GTA 4 cause I was a bit older when it came out and some of the darker themes in the story I really appreciated. It didn’t have the customization that San Andreas had, sure, but I loved the shooting and I loved the setting. I live an hour or so away from NYC, my hometown I can relate, it feels real when driving in GTA 4’s map.
Remember when as kid you spawned in tanks and fly mode. Turning turret 180° and started to shoot like a mad man to get the tank to fly. Now that's memories.
Definitely Vice City. I have been playing it since I was 12. I know that city better than any other city. Also it’s nice to have a paradise in the cold winter months.
Replayed it recently for the first time in over 15 years and came to the discovery that I never made it out of the starting island as a kid 😂 it was like playing it for the first time
I got 100% with my friend over several weeks. We had a single save on a memory card that we would hand back n forth at school whenever we got another jump or package or whatever. Together, we conquered that game without the Internet or even a strategy guide. One of my fondest game memories and probably the biggest gaming achievement for me.
I played it again recently and 100%ed it in like 2 days lol
IV and it's episodes multiplayer felt like something truly different back in 2008. I have the best memories playing IV with the homies. Those were the best days. I almost got to level 10, I swear!
GTA2 on pc. Played it every day after school.
Gouranga ;)
But over the top it was Vice City.
Got the Double Special Edition with GTA 3 and Vice City on the first Xbox. Played GTA 3 on a rainy day…it was very depressive and in real life and ingame. After 30 minutes I’ve threw the disc out and switched to Vice City.
COLORS LOTS OF COLORS! An awesome feeling and an awesome vibe! Played it on 100% directly
Grand Theft Auto IV because it has the best storyline and the best protagonist, Niko Bellic, his story was so well written, and that game is my favorite video game of all time, it is really fun, some of the missions on there are fun too, Grand Theft Auto IV is that one video game that everyone will remember!
Probably both Vice City Stories and San Andreas.
Vice City Stories was the first GTA game i ever played. Was at a friends house one weekend and he introduced me to the game on PSP. Didn’t play any missions whatsoever and just drove around doing random shit. Was hooked and immediately went home and convinced my parents to buy me GTA.
San Andreas because it was the first GTA game my parents got me. I told my dad the age rating was because of difficulty lol. Never actually played through any missions really initially and tbh didn’t even know that GTA had a whole storyline etc. Spent my time driving around and just killing random NPCs.
My father gave me a PSP with GTA LCS at the age of 4. And I had loads of fun playing it. The fact it was gifted by my Pops makes it closer to the heart.
GTA 3 and San Andreas. 3 because to me that was an entire cultural shift around video games. I was in middle school and had been a gamer my whole life up to that point. Games seemed to be known as a hobby for nerds and indoor kids then. I was playing Mario and megaman and metal gear solid and it was stuff I would talk to my nerdy friends about but never really openly talk about video games as an interest. When 3 came out, it seemed to grab ahold of everybody. My entire middle school was talking about it. I was exchanging tips with people I would never even speak to normally, let alone about video games. To me, this is the start of video games becoming culturally cool and lead us to where we are now as the biggest entertainment industry.
San Andreas is the other one just because it was grand theft auto perfected up to that point. Things that I wouldn’t even imagine doing was done in that game. I remember I could only really play games on the weekends when my parents would rent them for me back then, so I didn’t play San Andreas immediately when it came out. But my friend got it right away so that night after school I called him on the phone while he started the game up just so I could listen and he could describe what it was like. I think that game was always being played when we were hanging out for the next few years until ps3 came out and cod 4 got big.
Vice city. Got a ps2 with vice city and Tom clancey’s ghost recon in the fall of 2002. You can already guess which game I dumped the most hours in lol I was 7 years old back then and I remember it like it was yesterday.
My mom used to take me to the library so we can print out all the cheat codes lol
GTA Chinatown Wars. When I played it nonstop in early 2020. And I 100%ed it twice. So many good memories when I was in freshman and playing it on my 3ds
Ballad of Gay Tony and Lost and Damned get overlooked and underappreciated. I def enjoyed these two.
Not over all the rest of course, but they were solid.
GTA, GTA 2 and GTA London, because they were the originals, and they were more fun than anything else on the market at that time.
San Andreas and Vice City, I never got around to actually completing, with just 10 or so hours of play in each, if that.
Liberty City Stories was my favourite PSP game.
GTA III was ground breaking, but some of the original charm was lost and it always annoyed me that I couldn't enter most buildings in a 3D world as that was all basic scenery in a more obvious way than later games.
GTA IV was a huge leap in everything and V was pretty much as good, but slightly different and I like aspects of both more than the other.
gta san andreas. my sister had It on Xbox and I would always visit and play san andreas with her.(she lived at my grandmother's house) she dropped out of high school a couple years after that. she still lives with my grandmother now.
GTA3 cause I got it the exact same day as my new ps2 (ps3???). Got them both on credit and the shop forgot to activate it or something so ended up getting it all for free and I never paid a penny.
III was one of the first games I bought with my own money, when I bought my ps2 from my first real part time job that wasn't a crummy paper route. SA is in my top 2 or 3 games of all time (was at the top until RDR2, at which point it became a tossup).
IV, or Vice City
Vice City was my first experience with GTA, and IV because of the story… it was intense the first time I played it, and then I was hooked
For myself had to be gta 3 with the tank and shooting the cannon backwards down the road as cars blowing up plus cop cars chasing you while people going losing their minds, also might have jump a bridge or two with it crossing over other parts of the city I haven't unlocked yet lol good times.
GTA IV. Was incredible and so graphically amazing compared to all the PS2 GTA's I played before. And still holds up today as one of the best video games ever made imo. Such a gripping epic storyline and the DLC was great as well.
I’ve played every gta (except for the top down ones) and I gotta say 5 I’ve known about for years since elementary, and I’m spent many hours in online alone and with friends
San Andreas for me… when I first played the game, it was the biggest map EVER! The fog also made the map appear much larger. I didn’t have a console back then so when the pc release was announced I was overjoyed! Great story, characters and I have so many hours in this game with mods as well. I remember modding the desert and turning it into snow and had a snowboard mod lol
GTA 3 was the my gateway into open world games and the series as a whole
Vice City for the south Florida representation
GTA 5 because let’s be real, it’s one of the greatest games / pieces of media to ever be released. Yes it’s silly it’s been re-released over multiple generations but that’s also a testament for how amazing it is. Been on gta online since junior year of college, holds a very special place in my heart after all these years.
San Andreas!
I played it day and night. Somtimes i just drove around, cross the countryside in a Pick up and enjoyed listening to the country music radio stations.
It was a feeling like a tiny holiday, for a city boy like me.
And i liked the character development feature. That was the reason why i spend so much time in that game, i think.
Well done ROCKSTAR GAMES :) 👍🏻
The best memories of mine were with gta vice city the story behind it was that, when I was younger I used to always stare when my brothers were playing on family's PC (lived in a joint family) I always wanted to play but never got a chance few years later my father got me a samsung budget tablet when I was in 5th standard the only gta it supported was vice city I literally grinded a game...2 years later my Grandfather gave me his old laptop...I got a original GTA Vice City CD with all the map stuff and played an actuall PC game...
GTA Online because of the countless of hours I've played it with my best friend (sporadically we still do whenever a new update comes out). I could write so many pages about all the things that we have done, experienced and witnessed together throughout the years.
GTA V. All of the heist you do after school with your friends and when one of them dies everyone yells at them because you have to start all the way back at the checkpoint.
GTAIV, the online was so much fun. I remember playing a team deathmatch, and a group from the opposing team disappeared for a minute, then in comes a helicopter loaded up. The story was great to imo.
San Andreas. First gta game I ever played and I played it with my best friend at the time. We would stay up all night taking turns playing and a lot of really great memories were made
Tough one. It’s between San Andreas or IV. SA was the first one I played a lot, to the point where my PS2 didn’t read the disc anymore. Also first story I completed fully.
However IV was the one I got massively into before it was even out. It had that 3D Algonquin website etc. The trailer looked insane and when you finally got to play the physics were simply mind boggling. You’ll never see a jump like that again compared to the previous game. On top of that it got not one but two proper story DLCs with new characters and features. It was modern but just before the burst of modern social media. Special game.
IV had the biggest impact on me. I loved the originals but getting IV back in 2008 was one of my biggest "woah, now *this* is next gen" moments. lol Shit still impresses me to this day.
Gta 1 and gta 2 I played them both the most out of all gta games, I remember using the cheats to get the coordinates on the screen so I could map where all the secrets are
Damn, IV and V both hold great memories for me. IV was the first one I played at my friends house, and I remember us just causing anarchy in the city. We had to sneak to play it because he wasn’t allowed to play GTA (the game was his older brother’s) and as a kid I found messing around in GTA waayyyy more fun than getting my ass kicked in COD and Halo. I remember being in tears when I’d push the fat biker dudes off a hill by a Burger Shot with my car and watching the funny physics. V I loved vibing in story mode, updating each characters cars and customizing their looks. Online I also had so many memories on. Probably the most since I had the most hours on it. Doing the doomsday glitch for hours, CEO missions, messing around with the rocket vs. cars thing. God, GTA has gotta be the greatest game franchise ever.
GTA Vice City. I remember playing it at an Uncles house just having a blast on that game from hitting the ramps on a motorcycle and just messing around in that game. I can still hear the songs “Waiting for a Girl Like You” and “Video Killed the Radio Star”
San Andreas, I was the first in my family to finish the game and I did it twice on the ps 2 one with cheats and one without. I loved going on dates with Denise and on my save with cheats I tried flying her to the casino In the caddy but she got really mad at me for that. Listening to K-Rose and driving in the country
San Andreas!
Because it is the real gta vibe.
Being a gangster and earning respect
Gang fights and getting hitman in weapon skills.
I remember seeing the trailer so many years ago and got more hype out of San Andreas because it showed police on bikes!
From the fonts, the music, the collectables, and unlockables all made san andreas stand out in so many ways. That to me, it's much better than GTA V
Gta v lacked it for me with so many things especially the slow movavility. I just didn't enjoy it as much I stopped playing it around the time when Trevor showed up at Michael's place.
Probably GTA IV for me, i used to sit and watch my older cousin play (nothing more than driving and a bit of shooting) and when i was finally a bit older he let me play to my hearts content (within reason) he got me really into it even though i wasn’t as good as him, he always told me i was doing great and would help me understand how to figure things out, without taking over the controller, and then when GTA V came out we got to play through that together
I’m not old enough to have experienced anything before gta 4, but i don’t mind.
They are all so dear to me. From running the streets top down to the first time I stepped foot in Liberty City's 3D Universe, hearing the late great Ray Liotta give us any of the many quotable lines as Tommy Vercetti. Cruising the streets of Los Santos, San Fierro and Las Venturas listening to Radio X on repeat. Then Bam! Mr. Niko Bellic himself. The greatest GTA Antihero(my opinion). And then we have GTA V not the best in the series(also my opinion it has to do with story length). I love this series so much because it is my childhood.
San Andreas. First GTA I was able to beat lol. It is, to this day, the second most rewarding GTA to actually have money in and number one is V, so for a long time, GTA SA was the best game ever. You could buy so many houses which meant so many garages which meant so many cars to own and customize. So many clothes to own. Money ain’t everything but having it is. The first time I ever got to Venturas, I went into Caligulas and put a million on green zero. And it hit. 32 million right then and there. I had no idea what roulette was or what green zero even meant. I was dumbfounded. I bought myself a nice suburban spot which a garage not far from where your “girlfriend” eventually is. Plenty of nice cars on the strip so I had a choice. It was amazing. Once I had it beat it a few times, including a 14 hour single sitting, that’s when a buddy and I started watching Bigfoot videos and crap late at night, believing they were real and looking for him ourselves. It was so damn fun. Helping Truth burn his weed was so funny the first time and then driving and during the trip figuring out you’re finally out of the wilderness and into the next big city was incredible. To get there and find out you’re gonna take an old busted garage and turn it into a business was fucking sick. Then getting the dealership across the street and filling it with the street cars. MN I could go on forever. I’m getting butterflies just thinking about it. GTA SA is a top 3 game for me, all time. Probably forever
I have specific memories for all of them, minus GTA 5. It's been around for so long that it lost a chance to be associated to a specific time or place. Kind of a bummer.
San Andreas for me
That was the game that introduced me to modding, Lots of days spent on YouTube back in the 2000’s watching San Andreas modding videos and being blown away by seeing Lamborghini Gallardo’s and Saleen S7’s in the game
2 / 3 / vice city / san andreas / 4, basically these games were the prove of the biggest change in the gaming industry. Nowadays nothing is barely different
Honestly, all of them are special to me. It's the only series that kept getting better or just never fell off to me. Can't go wrong with any, but I guess I'll pick San Andreas as my favorite.
Even though it came out a year after I was born, San Andreas. So many memories. I've played from PS2 to PC to PS3 to Xbox all the way to the questionable Definitive Edition. By todays gaming standards I'd say it still holds up outside of graphics
Vice City for me, the whole aesthetic of it and the amazing radio stations, just love it. Might have to go back to it for comfort amidst my missing friend currently.
V because it's the one I've played the most,
but I will always regard finishing III as my favorite because I beat it only using a keyboard since my mouse was broken. It had so many frustrating moments, but very lucky ones as well.
For me it has to be gta 3. I remember watching walkthroughs about it in 2019 and 2019 was special for me. Then during quarantine, I bought the game on my phone and I would stay up all night completing missions and trying to survive on6 stars. It was special
I first started the GTA series out playing GTA 3 at 7 years old in 2001. They all hold a special place in my heart but San Andreas is my all time favorite GTA.
GTA 2 was the first one I played, the one with the hare Krishna, but my favourite one has been San Andreas since it came out. I'll still go back and play III and Vice City, but San Andreas I've played through a dozen times, easy.
Vice City Because the first hand-me-down computer I ever got was an Acer aspire netbook from 2007 and I used it to play the shit out of Vice City because I couldn't get GTA San Andreas to get past 4fps with no GPU or Ram in the bitch lmao
Gta V. Im 14 and when my friend showed me the Gta games like 6 yrs ago I fallen in love with this game but my parents didnt let me play it so I was watching gta ytbers. When lockdown came, I would watch people play gta on youtube. After all 2 years ago my parents let me play it and iam playin it even now.THE BEST GAME I HAVE EVER PLAYED
Vice city ..it was the first game I played on the playstation 2 ..yes I played it before gta 3 😁 ..me and my brother were still playing nintendo 64 until we finally got the ps2 one Christmas still play it til this day..I think it's the best gta of all time 🔥🔥🔥
San Andreas. Smoked so much weed in highschool on weekends playing that game.
But now also V Online, best years of my 20s playing it after working crazy hours on my days off. My PC was also top of the line when it was released on that platform.
Vice City, first GTA I ever played.
Vice Beach PD, at my friend’s house, his PS2, lets me try and I steal a BF Injection, start browsing radios and this guy I stole the ride from, jacks me out of it and speeds off. Black guy, black leather jacket, dark hair and blue jeans.
And white sneakers, that sneaky asshole.
Had my parents buy the game soon after, take it away for being ”too violent” and played it in secret when I was home alone… or so I thought. 😂 21 yo me was shocked when mom was like ”You really think we didn’t know?”
Honestly they all do. This game series was that forbidden fruit for much of my childhood that I wasn’t allowed to own but friends had it at their house. When I came over to my cousins I got sucked into GTA 3 and the freedom of it…and the violence! Then later a buddy had GTA Vice City and we were blown away with the the beachy sun, colorful tropical map, more reasons for boats, helos, the enterable things like the mall…and the violence! Then I got to play San Andreas once at another friends house years later and even though we only played for like a few hours, the improvements from the previous were so obvious I wanted to get it so bad. But it was another few years until I got Xbox Live at which point I downloaded it so that I didn’t have to ask my parents about the rating. First owned gta and I poured hours into it. Eventually I got GTA IV when my parents were cool with it a year or so later and that game probably is the one I’d say has always fascinated me the most. For years before I got it, I was obsessed with how cool the Euphoria physics looked and watched a YouTuber that did cool crash/bail compilations. So much so I downloaded their engine Endorphin to fuck around with. So really I have good almost fantastical memories of all of them because for a long time they were something I couldn’t have
III? For opening my eyes to the genre as a whole? I was resistant to finding the good in this cultural phenomenon that was sweeping up all my gamer friends’ lives around me. Nothing could prepare me for how truly special an experience Rockstar had created. It might have been the first time I truly believed there was a living, breathing, fictional world I could really escape into and explore. The grit and grime of it also got me really nostalgic for the time when I was a very young child growing up in mid-1980s NYC. I know it was set in its present day, but I hadn’t spend as much time in NYC “lately” and my brain just flashed back because I guess Rockstar just did that good a job capturing the vibe.
Or possibly Vice City. When I discovered it, I almost completely eclipsed GTA III for me for a long time. I loved the (very different) vibe, the more engaged and rich story, the deeper, more interesting protagonist, and i really got into the way the Xbox handled custom soundtracks. (My soundtracks were completely anachronistic to the setting, but they definitely remain a key component of my most vivid memories of the experience.)
Or possibly GTA V. I had just spend a wonderful few days in Los Angeles two years ago (it’s one of my favorite cities in all of human history) and I was amazed at just how perfectly they had captured the essence of the place. The game also seemed as content with telling me its brilliant story as challenging me, so I had a really hard time putting it down.
GTA V for sure I have so many great memories with all my friends just playing heists and messing around just blowing things up or just riding around the city.
San Andreas. First GTA game I ever owned and beat in like 5th grade? I still go back to that game cause I love it so much. The NPCs, customization, the memorable characters like Tenpenny, big smoke and the truth, the 3 cities. The desert, the jetpack. I could go on. It didn’t have the customization that San Andreas had, sure, but I loved the shooting and I loved the setting. I live an hour or so away from NYC, my hometown I can relate, it feels real when driving in GTA 4’s map.
You get so hyped for your latest San Andreas playthrough until you realise you need to go through the Zero missions all over again
But they are optional :D
“Optional” but we all know you HAVE to have the street car garage.
Who was having lowriders in SF and LV and rally cars in LS? The amount of miles I’ve done on the train tracks is unbelievable
They fixed it on ps4 so they’re a lot easier to get through actually.
they're easy. your Red Baron just have to roll down the road and attack.
Damn I kinda remember the zero missions. I’m glad I’m forgetting about them.
im convinced they just added that to bother us
Remember when as kid you spawned in tanks and fly mode. Turning turret 180° and started to shoot like a mad man to get the tank to fly. Now that's memories.
San Andreas is peak gaming, dem low poly graphics are goated still🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
GTA V, used to love coming home from school to play online with my friends back when it released, good times when online was pure
It wasn't about the heists or missions or flying cars - but the friends we made and rooftops we rumbled with them.
![gif](giphy|rHR8qP1mC5V3G)
Online most definitely was not pure lol, Xbox 360 era Xbox live was great, the pinnacle of free speech 😅
Sure it had some issues, but it was nowhere near the flying bikes and orbital cannon stuff
now mfs used cheats :( playing gta online with homies are mine best memories tooo
Definitely Vice City. I have been playing it since I was 12. I know that city better than any other city. Also it’s nice to have a paradise in the cold winter months.
Us ✌️
GTA 3
Replayed it recently for the first time in over 15 years and came to the discovery that I never made it out of the starting island as a kid 😂 it was like playing it for the first time

Vice City 😎
“Tommy vercetti, remember the name”
"It was my money tommy, MY MONEY!"
Where's London and CTW
Don’t forget gta advance
FINALLY, IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THESE!
Gay tony. Me and the homies would play online for hours straight goofin off
IV and it's episodes multiplayer felt like something truly different back in 2008. I have the best memories playing IV with the homies. Those were the best days. I almost got to level 10, I swear!
GTA 3 It was the first one I played.
Same. I was about 10 and was the first PS2 I owned along with Crash Bandicoot:The Wrath of Cortex
3 and Vice City
Vice city. Was 13 in 2002, maybe that was common for guys my age around that time
Vice City. It's clunky by today's standards, but at its time of release, it was groundbreaking for its genre. Plus katanas!
they were unsure what style they wanted for 1 & 2’s cover but they got it in 3
GTA VC. It's the GTA I spent the most time with. I have a lot of fond memories with it, I did a lot of shenanigans on it.
Vice city
The gang wars in san Andreas will never be topped, love saints row but san andreas was a masterpiece to 8 year old me.
GTA2 on pc. Played it every day after school. Gouranga ;) But over the top it was Vice City.
SA it’s pure nostalgia from a really good period in my life
San Andreas, it had the best cheat codes
I must be the only old head in here… no love for 2???
gta 2 is pretty fun if you dont mind how it looks tbh
Love for 1 lol
Grand Theft Auto IV because it has the best storyline and the best protagonist, Niko Bellic, his story was so well written, and that game is my favorite video game of all time, it is really fun, some of the missions on there are fun too, Grand Theft Auto IV is that one video game that everyone will remember!

San Andreas (I’m 30)
Vice city(the first), liberty city stories are best memories for me i played them on ps2
GTA Advance. The story, world building, and soundtrack are just incredible. Not sure how they could ever top that.
GTA III 'cause it was my first.
GTA LCS because it was the first gta I played and the first game I played that came with my PSP my dads friend gave me.
GTA 3 was a new era of gaming
My father gave me a PSP with GTA LCS at the age of 4. And I had loads of fun playing it. The fact it was gifted by my Pops makes it closer to the heart.
GTA 3 and San Andreas. 3 because to me that was an entire cultural shift around video games. I was in middle school and had been a gamer my whole life up to that point. The first one. Nostalgia... 🙂 I've not played the 3D games alot. Just GTA 3 and to a lesser extend GTA 5.
Vice city. Got a ps2 with vice city and Tom clancey’s ghost recon in the fall of 2002. You can already guess which game I dumped the most hours in lol I was 7 years old back then and I remember it like it was yesterday. My mom used to take me to the library so we can print out all the cheat codes lol
I grew up on all the GTA 4 games.
Chinatown wars got me through hell and back when I was younger, always was on the road
Easily IV, I remember watching my uncle play it whenever I was visiting. Great memories
GTA IV, twas my second ever gta game.
4 'cuz it's exactly what GTA should be story wise
LCS bc it was amazing to get as I got it second hand on the PSP for free nonetheless and is a blast to go through this game whilst going on a trip
You forgot Chinatown wars and the two gta London dlcs and GTA 5 online
Oh yeah, and advance
Gta Rio de Janeiro ou GTA Rocinha
GTA SA and GTA 4
Why does everyone forget about GTA London?? I mean it’s not like I thought it was good but it’s still a title in the series….
Gta 4 cause the online could be pure chaos with no repercussions
GTA 3, there was nothing like it when it first came out.
GTA LCS, it was the first GTA I ever played and the first game I played on my PSP, it is criminally underrated.
I played Vice City for ages. Until the disc no longer worked.
GTA LCS
GTA San Andreas, lots of references in the game. The value of friendship is powerful.
GTA, GTA 2 and GTA London, because they were the originals, and they were more fun than anything else on the market at that time. San Andreas and Vice City, I never got around to actually completing, with just 10 or so hours of play in each, if that. Liberty City Stories was my favourite PSP game. #GTA 2
3 cause it was my first
San Andreas split screen !!!
You forgot Chinatown wars
Where’s ChinaTown wars? Where’s GTA Advanced for the GameBoyAdvanced???
Liberty city stories. First game I bought for the PSP and was the game I played the most
San Andreas. I used to play the game pretty much every day/night when I had a PS2. Literally wasn’t interested in anything else at the time.
Gta San Andreas
Damn this one’s tough. 3 was the first one I played, SA I played the most, 4 was my favorite storyline and online was so fun with all my friends
San andreas just drivin round listening to k rose, reading on forums about epsilon and things in the woods, man those were the days
gta san andreas. my sister had It on Xbox and I would always visit and play san andreas with her.(she lived at my grandmother's house) she dropped out of high school a couple years after that. she still lives with my grandmother now.
Advance and Chinatown Wars. Lots of memories of no one else remembering they exist
San Andreas Mutiplayer (SA:MP)
GTA CW. It was my first introduction to the series and I played the fuck out of it.
GTA3 cause I got it the exact same day as my new ps2 (ps3???). Got them both on credit and the shop forgot to activate it or something so ended up getting it all for free and I never paid a penny.
Vice City and San Andreas give me good vibes.
GTA 3 and 4, because they were the only ones I could beat Vice City missions were too particular and SA lasted too long.
GTA San Andreas. It was the first game I ever played. I used to play it with my uncle in his computer ah those good old days!
San Andreas fist gta i was allowed to play
III was one of the first games I bought with my own money, when I bought my ps2 from my first real part time job that wasn't a crummy paper route. SA is in my top 2 or 3 games of all time (was at the top until RDR2, at which point it became a tossup).
I started with GTA 2, and my favorite one (best memories, being absorbed by its colorful world, etc.) is Vice City.
4, i like the story the best
IV, or Vice City Vice City was my first experience with GTA, and IV because of the story… it was intense the first time I played it, and then I was hooked
GTA IV
For myself had to be gta 3 with the tank and shooting the cannon backwards down the road as cars blowing up plus cop cars chasing you while people going losing their minds, also might have jump a bridge or two with it crossing over other parts of the city I haven't unlocked yet lol good times.
You forgot Chinatown Wars, REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE…….
GTA 5, the best atmosphere (I am 15 years old, so for me childhood game is GTA 5)
Gta san andreas do i have to explain why?
San Andreas 100%
San andreas is the most game i had a Memoires on it then i have gta v online i have alot of memories with my friends
The GTA 1 logo Is so cool, iconic and og :)))
Like omnibus logo
GTA 3 was the my gateway into open world games and the series as a whole Vice City for the south Florida representation GTA 5 because let’s be real, it’s one of the greatest games / pieces of media to ever be released.
Gta 5 the first gta game I played
GTAIV, the online was so much fun. I remember playing a team deathmatch, and a group from the opposing team disappeared for a minute, then in comes a helicopter loaded up. The story was great to imo.
Sam andreas and 4 hands down
San Andreas. First gta game I ever played and I played it with my best friend at the time. We would stay up all night taking turns playing and a lot of really great memories were made
GTA 5, first GTA I ever played and one of my all time favourite games.
GTA 2. First real GTA game I got really obsessed in lol
5 bc i just loved to run around
Gta chinatownwars 100%
Gta 1 and gta 2 I played them both the most out of all gta games, I remember using the cheats to get the coordinates on the screen so I could map where all the secrets are
Lol. Can't even get the old titles in this? Poser.
GTA 3, SA, VC and 4.
Vice City was the first one i played , but San Andreas was the one i spent most time in . i replayed just a little while ago , and i had a blast
All of them.
Vice City, I have many fond memories of driving around ocean beach at night time in the red infernus while listening to Billie Jean. W game
San andreas.
III and Vice City.
San Andreas! Because it is the real gta vibe. Being a gangster and earning respect Gang fights and getting hitman in weapon skills. I remember seeing the trailer so many years ago and got more hype out of San Andreas because it showed police on bikes! From the fonts, the music, the collectables, and unlockables all made san andreas stand out in so many ways. That to me, it's much better than GTA V Gta v lacked it for me with so many things especially the slow movavility. I just didn't enjoy it as much I stopped playing it around the time when Trevor showed up at Michael's place.
Probably GTA IV for me, i used to sit and watch my older cousin play (nothing more than driving and a bit of shooting) and when i was finally a bit older he let me play to my hearts content (within reason) he got me really into it even though i wasn’t as good as him, he always told me i was doing great and would help me understand how to figure things out, without taking over the controller, and then when GTA V came out we got to play through that together I’m not old enough to have experienced anything before gta 4, but i don’t mind.
GTA IV and the episodes of liberty city, I have way too many memories that I can't relive in GTA V.
San andreas forever
gta 5, late night sleepovers just playing stupid ass mini games like cars vs rpgs was so amazing. there was no better laughter
SA easily. I remember being so excited that it was set in the hood and that I could ride a bike.
San Andreas for me That was the game that introduced me to modding, Lots of days spent on YouTube back in the 2000’s watching San Andreas modding videos and being blown away by seeing Lamborghini Gallardo’s and Saleen S7’s in the game
2 / 3 / vice city / san andreas / 4, basically these games were the prove of the biggest change in the gaming industry. Nowadays nothing is barely different
VICE CITY
Honestly, all of them are special to me. It's the only series that kept getting better or just never fell off to me. Can't go wrong with any, but I guess I'll pick San Andreas as my favorite.
Even though it came out a year after I was born, San Andreas. So many memories. I've played from PS2 to PC to PS3 to Xbox all the way to the questionable Definitive Edition. By todays gaming standards I'd say it still holds up outside of graphics
GTA SA is my first time and all time favorite game
Vice City for me, the whole aesthetic of it and the amazing radio stations, just love it. Might have to go back to it for comfort amidst my missing friend currently.
gta IV and V, just the best ever
GTA IV it’s first rockstar game I played. I used to sneak my dads PlayStation after school thinking I wouldn’t get caught…good times honestly 😄
Vice city and san andreas for sure. It's the only gta game i replayed more than once. Once i beat gta 5, i didnt bother to return to it.
GTA2 was my first and then Vice City. Nothing has really beat those standards. San Andreas was great but never possessed it as my own.
IV
Gta 5 fr fr
V because it's the one I've played the most, but I will always regard finishing III as my favorite because I beat it only using a keyboard since my mouse was broken.
San andreas
I first started the GTA series out playing GTA 3 at 7 years old in 2001. They all hold a special place in my heart but San Andreas is my all time favorite GTA.
Vice City and IV.
Gta IV for me personally.
It's got to be grand theft auto directors cut. Liberty city, new guernsey state, vice city, San Andreas, and London.
San Andreas. It wasn't the first GTA I played, GTA Vice City was first but SA was the one I replayed the most. I still play it every so often.
GTA 2 was the first one I played, the one with the hare Krishna, but my favourite one has been San Andreas since it came out. I'll still go back and play III and Vice City, but San Andreas I've played through a dozen times, easy.
Gta 4. We used to fuck around with cheat codes at my cousins house. I remember spawning in the hospital everytime I died

San Andreas
San Andreas. It’s mainly a nostalgia thing I think but I just loved it so much.
GTA vice City,and yours
funny enough gta 5, online was something else in it’s prime
vice city stories, it was my first one and i had it on psp too
I've played them all except Tokyo.. Including London 69 and London 61 but 5 and San Andreas are my favorites so far.
GTA III,jogava muito no play dois quando era criança(ainda sou)😁
London and it's not there.
GTA V tbh, it’s what got me playing videogames in the first place (aside from skylander)
Vice city ..it was the first game I played on the playstation 2 ..yes I played it before gta 3 😁 ..me and my brother were still playing nintendo 64 until we finally got the ps2 one Christmas still play it til this day..I think it's the best gta of all time 🔥🔥🔥
i love its gane GTA SAN Andreas......😍
GTA Vice city İt was the first video game i ever played on my father's computer when i was 4 And now, I'm still playing it
GTA V because I met one of my best friends in gta online
GTA 4
(My soundtracks were completely anachronistic to the setting, but they definitely remain a key component of my most vivid memories of the experience.) Or possibly GTA V. I had just spend a wonderful few days in Los Angeles two years ago (it’s one of my favorite cities in all of human history) and I was amazed at just how perfectly they had captured the essence of the place. The game also seemed as content with telling me its brilliant story as challenging me, so I had a really hard time putting it down.
gta 2 - the first game on my first computer as a child
GTA V for sure I have so many great memories with all my friends just playing heists and messing around just blowing things up or just riding around the city.
