I find it soooo annoying that you have to accept the new running records. Yes, this 5k was faster. It's a fact. Why do I have to take a step for you to save it?
I'm one of those people. Don't want treadmill records. Also got a mile record one time from a run that partially involved running down a steep hill. I rejected that one too. Felt like cheating.
Go to the 7-day overview and click on the „show personal records“ button.
i had the same yesterday and when I checked the records it was the „longest streak“ record (don‘t know if garmin calls it that in English, in German it’s „längste Ziel-Siegessträhne“)
Could be longest streak of hitting your daily step goal. Click on it
Ohh. Tapping on it does nothing but that would make sense and be accurate given this streak !
Is it the same case like with the running records you have to accept the record? If not it will keep thinking you had a record
Nothing to accept here, like nothing to click!
And in the place where the running records are? If not then idk
It’s that! Ty!

Yeah I don't understand that as well. Only logical reason I could think of is people not willing to have a record they ran on a treadmill

Could be most steps in a week, month or a new longest goal streak
I think it’s longest consistent goal streak, ty!
Could be distance? It’s 11.3km for the lower step count vs 11.2km?
I think it’s longest days besting goal steps now-but ty!
