Its about two boys who meet in a post apocalyptic world and have to work together to survive and during this they fall in love.
I think it's definitely top five best books I've read about queer kids surviving the apocalypse. I also think you'd agree so give it a read!
At times it even had the same vibe as the game last of us and I loved it
They Both Die at The End - Adam Silvera
I will warn you, you WILL bawl your eyes out by the end. But it’s such an amazing and well crafted story, please read it when you get the chance.
Not exactly homosexual but I feel like I have to suggest From The Notebooks of Melanin Sun. Its about a boy who finds out that his mother has fallen in love with another woman. Pretty good but too short imo.
Funny Boy by Shyam Selvadurai is an amazing read!
It narrates the difficult life of an effeminate boy and his coming of age in the backdrop of racial tensions in Sri Lanka and how he finally meets a boy
"The House in the Cerulean Sea" - TJ Klune
It's a really cute book about learning to appreciate life. The main character is gay but it isn't a major part of the plot until the end.

“Indivisible” - forgot author lol
The hardback edition I saw had a cool red and white/black graphic of iron bars.
It’s about a gay highschool teenage who is a son of Mexican immigrants, his parents get deported ab 1/3rd into the book and the rest of it is a really well told depiction of how us families are torn apart by immigration laws. Def recommend.
