I pressed Win + Ctrl + Shift + B which reset the gpu driver and made it work, however be mindful that this will reset your graphic settings on ALL games. Either way, at the end the Overlay was incredibly glitchy and ended up switching back to Gamebar

Well the overlay turns invisible, with the windows cursor visible, but you could try it out. Might just work for you too.

I believe I uninstalled and reinstalled the GeForce software, but I did get it working. If something crosses my mind I’ll update here.

For any other lost soul this is what worked for me after getting on to nvidia support, they were lovely and worked quick, tried a lot of different fixes but this is what worked in my case after razer synapse bricked GFE lol Please follow the steps listed below for further troubleshooting: 1. Delete the CEF cache folder under the location : %LocalAppData%\NVIDIA Corporation\NVIDIA GeForce Experience 2. Remove GeForce Experience from Control panel > programs > uninstall a program > remove GeForce Experience 3. Restart the PC 4. Reinstall GeForce experience: https://www.geforce.com/geforce-experience/download Please let us know at your earliest convenience. I look forward to your reply

I don't have the nvidia share.exe anywhere and also I don't have a geforce experience folder. Not sure how this happened when I downloaded it. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!! For Nvidia App, the 3rd step is: Find Nvidia Overlay.exe, for me the directory was "C:\\Program Files\\NVIDIA Corporation\\NVIDIA App\\CEF".
