I love them and have quite a few ive had since i was a kid in the 80s or found at various places through the years.. i manage a retro toy and video game store so Ive seen a few walk in.
Well I just took in the well kept Starscream that still has his missles and front detachable landing wheel, so he's still full price. Now, that Bumble bee with the slight wheel rubber damage, ive had him for awhile so lets make a deal!
Look for **Tomy Takara** on Amazon. Same molds and everything...and OFFICIAL.
*^((talking about Starscream & the rest of the Seekers: Thundercracker, Skywarp, Dirge, Ramjet, and Thrust))*
I love battle beast. I have a few in my G1 Transformers collection. Little fun fact that Battle Beast were actually part of the Transformers line in Japan but when brought over here they became their own thing called Battle Beast.
I wish I knew what the fuck I liked about these things.
Remember when they tried to sell them again but in color? It was like a light switched on in my head that 'these things are f'n dumb' lol.
These were based on a Japanese comic series called Kinnikuman. That series was rebooted in 2011, and is still running in Japan, including the figures An anime is set to debut this year.
I still have a bunch of these in storage. My dad made me a wrestling ring for them back in the day and we’d have matches/champions. Awesome memories!
I had alot of different toys as a kid i mean everything of the 80s i had... But i swear i loved playing with these things more than my G.i.Joes, Transformers, Ninja Turtles, wwf thumb wrestlers, i mean i could go on and on all the shit i had... Something about these guys and i had alot of them was more fun than anything.
My wife found a guy selling like 10 of them for under $20 on Etsy, we were both excited to see them though, hit the nostalgia button hard. I would check like eBay for more accurate pricing though.
I grew up pretty poor and never had coo toys. I had a great upbringing with loving parents and spending a lot of time outdoors (i wouldn’t trade it for the world. But… Big Wheels, Evel Knievel bikes, Easy Bake Ovens - I still get a bit jealous.
Nostalgia hit, right to the temple.
No lie!

Can I get a discount on a well-kept StarScream or Bumblebee Transformer? 👀 lol

These things were soo freaking cool in the day.
🎯
Wish I still had mine
Still got a few survivors from the great "muscle men vs battle beasts" wars of '88.

Huh. TIL!
Oh I forgot about the battle beasts! Where they had that hologram emblem on their chest for which element they were! I think that's the dudes anyway
Hehe yup!

I haven't thought about those little rubbery freaks for almost 4 decades!
The most I ever got up to was like 3 or 4 of them. I REALLY wanted them all if I could have gotten them. I’m 51.

I think there are still some buried along with G.I. Joes in my grandparents' old yard.

I still have some! They ended up thrown into my lego box (used to make them attack the castle I had)
I a box of them…worth much?

Isn't that the Jewish mystical figure called Golem?
I'm not really sure! He reminds me of the guy in mortal Kombat now that I think about it.
The Inca god like one? I remember, also quite possible

man, i am *inspired* for my work. thank you. *ha ha*
Loved these! Surely someone's still got the poster that had all of them on it so you could check off the ones you had?
Reminds me of Stretch Armstrong.
Muscle *Things*
Vladimir Putin's daughter looks *exactly* like the little announcer guy with the giant head, microphone, and glasses
Oh god I loved these.
OMG! Totally forgot about those!
I knew a kid in my class who won $100 from a Cap’n Crunch sweepstakes. He spent all of it on Muscle Men. Dumb, but kind of great.
These were definitely hot for a minute
The greatest toys ever.
