It's not a movie *about* the song, but in case you haven't already seen it there's the illustrated version which is worth a watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e4HfFwVy-h0
What’s wrong with that? I absolutely agree.
You want some strange headcanon? The light world he sees is his brain trying to comprehend the world we later see in Silver Rainbow.
I’m writing a script based off of Duke and TLLDOB. One is giving me such a migraine, lol. Duke has such a theatrical vibe for me, and it’s been fun dissecting the lyrics so far.
They came out with the Childhood’s End miniseries. Good for Watcher vibes, as it is based off of the book, kind of as an alternate timeline where Karelian doesn’t get to Earth in time.
Well, Dennis Waterman was going to make a film of the book that inspired Driving The Last Spike so I think that would be a good starting point. Other than that, Home By The Sea, No Son Of Mine, Dreaming While You Sleep, A Trick Of The Tail and, most obviously, The Lamb.
Domino, Man on the Corner, Return of the Giant Hogweed, Land of Confusion, Entangled, dodo, dutchess... I never realized how many of their songs would be interesting movies.
I'll be the one to say it. Fading Lights. The story of an aging musician who tries to remain in the spotlight doing whatever they can to stay relevant, struggling to come to terms with the fact that perhaps maybe it's time to say goodbye to the spotlight and go out with dignity.
One For The Vine
I've always got a vibe like Tony watched The Man Who would be King, and wove some of that movie in OFTV.
This immediately jumped into my head as well. Wind and wuthering gets so little conversation and is a great album.
just to make sure i'm not going crazy, one for the vine has time travel in it, right?
Who Dunnit Preferably a three-part epic series like Lord Of The Rings
The only sensible answer.
We know.
Still waiting for Who Dunnit: A Knives Out Mystery
Chapter I: Was it-? Chapter II: I Didn't Do it! Chapter III: We Know
Battle of Epping Forest

A coherent story would be nice lol. It’s my favorite Genesis album but it’s certainly not the most coherent narrative
Yes please, it's so good!
Suppers Ready.
It's not a movie *about* the song, but in case you haven't already seen it there's the illustrated version which is worth a watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e4HfFwVy-h0
Ugh. I couldn't get past a minute of that. So boring. It's like Clutch Cargo-level animation.
Has to be.
Home By The Sea
Sppoky house
Dodo / Lurker
Fine I’ll say it: Keep It Dark
What’s wrong with that? I absolutely agree. You want some strange headcanon? The light world he sees is his brain trying to comprehend the world we later see in Silver Rainbow.
Fire in the Sky is kinda about that
Me and Sarah Jane could be extended into an interesting story.
Yup, that’s one of the ones that doesn’t get talked about much, but it’s an interesting song that leaves a lot of questions unanswered.
A Doctor Who series.
Get em out by Friday, no question
Duke’s Travels.
The entire Duke album, simpler to adapt than TLLDOB
I’m writing a script based off of Duke and TLLDOB. One is giving me such a migraine, lol. Duke has such a theatrical vibe for me, and it’s been fun dissecting the lyrics so far.
Supper's Ready definitely
Home by the Sea or Watcher of the Skies
They came out with the Childhood’s End miniseries. Good for Watcher vibes, as it is based off of the book, kind of as an alternate timeline where Karelian doesn’t get to Earth in time.

Obviously Cul-de-sac
Maybe not a movie but how about the Dreaming While You Sleep true crime podcast!
Surprised nobody mentioned Duchess or Eleventh Earl of Mar yet.
The lady lies. Who can escape what he desires?
Counting Out Time, but I think the film Submarine has a similar scene.
A satire based on "Dodo/Lurker".
I'll be the one to say it. Fading Lights. The story of an aging musician who tries to remain in the spotlight doing whatever they can to stay relevant, struggling to come to terms with the fact that perhaps maybe it's time to say goodbye to the spotlight and go out with dignity.
