I know Furina is objectively better, but I’m afraid my Neuvilette won’t have interruption resistance once I substitute Dehya in his team (it’s Neuvilette/Dehya/Raiden/Baizhu). I have her signature weapon though.
I want Nilou because I really love dendro teams, and I already have both Kokomi and Nahida. Dockhand’s Assistant will have to do though.
Or you could substitute Baizhu? Neuvi healing is enough to Full stack fanfare rather quickly, even faster if you use Prototype Amber.

Neuvi heals when he obsorbs his orbs, and loses hp as he charge attacks, if you are done killing all mobs, dash cancel his charage attack to not leave your neuvi with low hp, better yet if you have orbs laying around, start a charged attack and dash cancel immediately to keep him at full for overworld content.

I have a doubt related to imaginarium theater, you start with 6 charcters then you get 1 charcter randomly from your selection after completion of each round, and you have 2 uses of every character. So let's count the uses in start we have 12 uses as we start with 6 charcters, after 1st round ends we have +2 and -4 uses, so 10 uses, after 2nd round ends we have +2 and -4 uses, so 8 uses, after 3rd round ends we have 6 uses, after 4th round end we have 4 uses left BUT 2 uses are of the new charcters, so basically after the end of round 4 we are left with 3 charcters out of which 1 has 2 uses and 2 has 1 uses left. And we can't start the 5th round with 3 charcters left. So how in the world are we supposed to do that. And somehow we managed to do 5th round then we will have 2 charcters left, 1 with 2 uses(newer one) and one with 1 uses left for the 6th round. Honestly how did you guys do it.
You can buy reserve characters between acts, with the currency you earn every time you clear an act.
You in fact start with some currency already, so my advise is to buy characters ASAP to have more team building options sooner, also allowing you to reserve some initial DMG dealers/supports for later stages.
I have no intention of ever pulling on Kokomi's banner, so I'm wondering how good the Nilou+Baizhu variant is compared to the Nilou+Kokomi?

You get less blooms since less AOE hydro application but it also makes the team stronger in ST which can be helpful when you want to brute force a boss chamber. So it really just kind of depends on preference

With Baizhu, you'd want an onfield dendro driver (Nahida, Alhaitham) and an off field hydro applier (XQ, Yelan) ideally.
Baizhu versions of the team are pretty strong too, tbh. Nilou teams are really flexible.
With Baizhu you'd either run Nahida on field with Xingqiu, or bring along an on-field hydro driver like Ayato (who has the advantage of more AoE hydro application than Xingqiu). I know there are Candace+Yaoyao variations as well, or of course EM Barbara.

Thoma is a very good shielder on certain teams (and great for burgeon).
Sucrose is a great anemo buffer, so even though you already have Kazuha she's a pretty good choice.
I'm a big fan of Yanfei, and it can be nice to have a ranged pyro DPS for certain content (even tho you already have Xiangling for pyro DPS in general) — you can also build shield Yanfei.
Sethos (or Lisa) could be worth building, mainly for aggravate which you can't use this IT cycle but even no.
Building Dehya can be fun even though she's not the strongest character (and she has some teams she fits on nowadays). Diluc can also be fun if you like him.
So, some of those. If I were you I'd build Thoma Sucrose Sethos and Yanfei, but I just *like* all of them so I'm biased.

If you really don't want to use dendro, then [Chevreuse overload](https://keqingmains.com/q/clorinde-quickguide/#Chevreuse_Overloaded) is your next best option:
Clorinde + Chevreuse + some combination of Xiangling, Beidou, and Thoma should work. Thoma if you need shielding, Xiangling and Beidou for more damage, all three of them will need a lot of energy be warned.
That said, even with bad EM dendro teams are quite good for Clorinde, and usually better than overload. They're a lot better with Fischl, but [she should be available in the starglitter shop](https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Paimon%27s_Bargains#Rotation) for July. I'd recommend getting her, she's good on overload teams too.
For dendro teams:
Clorinde + Beidou (replace with Fischl) + Lynette + Collei or Yaoyao
If you really need a shield, you could replace Beidou or Lynette with Layla for less damage but more comfort. If you have Fischl don't replace her, she's too good on aggravate teams.

Gaming is a main dps. its more like hed be a Clorinde replacement. if hes not thr main dps, not worth using at all. i use him with Bennett and Xianyun, at first with Rosaria for Melt, that was decent. then Xingqiu for vape. went better cause sword protection is nice. now i replaced him with Furina. more power. ill switch back to Xingqiu if i feel i need protection
Chevreuse is still very good at c0 so id still recommend her if you dont mind the specific overload team limitation. convenient to give her staff from alchemy event if you have it

Also there is this thing called special guest characters who can be of any element, how do I use that? Are these options not for when you don't have enough characters? pretty sure livestream said that that's what they are for.
You will get 1 character from friend when you have all the 18 characters, cus you need 10,14,18 charcters to start a mode and then after that you can get 1 charcter from your friends, that's according to all of my understanding, I don't know if this is the whole truth, but I don’t like thus thing, they expect us to build 18 charcters of only 3 elements wtf. What's the best party I can build?

generally Hu Tao always worth pairing with Xingqiu, id really like to recommend Thoma with her to play more easily, and maybe Lynette as last. not sure about rotations though.
some people use Yunjin on the team to make Hu Tao normal attacks better. up to you how you fit her. give up anemo shred or give up pyro resonance
Bennett and Xiangling are always recommended, most people add Xingqiu to it and someone else to normal attack during bursts.
with Bennett/XL i could recommend Chongyun and Rosaria for a reverse melt team
or Kaeya and Sayu, using Sayu to spin around while Kaeya and/or XL burst follow her
you have Kokomi and Beidou, if you could, get Fischl from this month's starglitter shop. youd use Kokomi as onfield character and electros
no idea who to add last, or Kokomi teams in general. give her Prototype amber or Thriling tales (many 3 star weapons are worth keeping and refining btw) and could fit her easily into most teams
Ningguang and Noelle, ideally one or the other with Favonius if you have any, Noelle is useful but doesnt generate energy by herself
then could go for Bennett/Xiangling again, or Kaeya and Rosaria, Beidou and Fischl, Beidou/Fischl and Xingqiu

I would not run Kazuha in that team. He's still fine as he gives good grouping, but he can't buff Hu Tao since he can't easily swirl Pyro making his contribution less relevant. Sucrose will actually do a bit more in that team simply because she can at least buff Hu Tao's EM.
Another option you can make a Hyperbloom team that doesn't really utilise Furina's mains strength, but she's still fine there - with Barbara, Furina, Dendro MC and EM Raiden. Dendro MC needs a lot of ER though since they are very reliant on their burst.
If you want something different with Furina, I can recommend Qiqi, Furina, Fischl and Beidou. Qiqi isn't the best investment target though, but she is a good on-field healer for Furina. This is a pretty good team in AoE, not so great in single target though.
Finally, if you want to use Furina with Hu Tao, you really want a party healer/debuffer. Switching out Kazuha and Zhongli and replacing them with Furina and Sayu will be better than what you currently have. The biggest issue is the lack of a shield for Hu Tao.
im trying to build a strong itto but i have no idea what is considered a good artifact and a not so good artifact until i recently came across two artifacts for him
Artifact one has: HP+5.8% HP+299 CRIT DMG+ 6.2% DEF+19
And artifact two has: ATK+4.1% DEF +16 ATK+16
Granted i havent leveled them up yet but are these considered good artifacts or should i try and grind for better ones?

Definetly try to grind for better ones. U want Def% on sands, geo dmg on cup and crit on hat.
For substats go for Def%, Crit rate and crit dmg. Try to get a good amount of crit rate and atleast double crit dmg.

If you really like Sigewinne she's *fine*, but do you actually *need* a hydro healer specifically? There are plenty of good Furina double hydro teams that use an anemo or cryo healer, after all.
Sigewinne also doesn't fit on most teams that Kokomi excels on, since Kokomi's hydro application is a lot better. If you want a Kokomi-like character, just get Kokomi.
I'd recommend saving. Furina c2 is already so strong that you don't really need to upgrade her further unless you're aiming for c6 tbh, and there are other characters you could get instead who would likely improve your account more. It depends who you already have ofc, but I'd stop at c2.
For hydro application I got both yelan , xq c6 and neuvi too ( I use him on neuvi hyperbloom ).
Right now I want some good mono hydro teams.. Barbara works as a good driver for me but she and kokomi needs to be on field.

Key of Khaj-Nisut is fine for Furina, right? I wasn't honestly planning to pull her very seriously, so I didn't prep anything and I haven't fished since Inazuma.
For C0 in my experience: I have Key and R2 Jadecutter and end up running her most of the time with either Festering Desire or Fav. Key in most teams key isn't a big difference but you just won't be able to hit er requirements for some, so I like the er options better. If you don't have festering the pipe is just a little bit less damage for some more er.

That said, it depends what team she's on. If you're playing her solo hydro (or even double hydro on teams with bad energy generation), you're *really* better off just putting her on Favonius or the free fishable sword Fleuve Cendre. Her burst is the most important part of her kit, and if you can't meet her energy needs a 5\* weapon won't be much of an upgrade.
Honestly, I haven't yet figured out where she's going. There's no teams that really need her, so I'm just farming GT at the moment to see where she ends up.
If you want her to be versatile and don't have a specific team in mind, I'd stick to an ER sword. [Her energy requirements can range from 130% to 210%](https://keqingmains.com/q/furina-quickguide/#ER_Requirements) depending on the team, so keeping her in the 160-180 range or higher is probably a good idea, and will let you experiment with her on lots of teams without running into energy problems.
I'm just really short on Favs, is the only thing. I literally have 5 (R2 + R3) despite playing since 1.x, and they're pretty firmly welded to Kazuha and Xingqiu, while Khaj-Nisut has been sitting homeless in my bag for like a year now. I'll see how much ER I can juice her up with via substats... she's at 180 with the cobbled-together 4pc GT, and I haven't even got a goblet sorted for her yet.
FYI an HP% goblet is actually *better* for her until c2, especially if she's on an ER% sands, so that shouldn't be too hard to farm.
Tbh 180% ER is *pretty* good, so Key may be fine, especially if you aren't planning to get Nilou. If you feel like fishing for Fleuve that's also a good option (with a nice crit rate passive) that'll let you keep fav on the characters who need it, but I understand not wanting to fish.

interactive map says there’s a torch puzzle there. checked the location out in-game and i’m pretty sure this area is only accessible after a certain part in the liloupar quest so you have to do that first.

It's ok but not as good as the pipe.
Since she doesn't use Attack, the only stat on it she cares about is the ER and the small crit chance passive, R5 pipe has 12% more CR and 10% less ER (but also an extra 32 ER for 5 seconds each rotation, which probably balances out to be slightly better).
If you don't want to fish though it's not like it's gonna be a huge downgrade unless your team actually relies on her personal damage, but you're better off just fishing,
Ayato/Bennett/Fischl/Kazuha is my go-to, it's secretly a team that can clear anything. Like, every type of shield, boss, mobs... It has a little finesse with what you absorb with Kazuha's burst and different rotations.
Ayato is really versatile, so he has a lot of options.
Imo he feels best on burgeon, hyperbloom, taser, and "soup" teams, since they take advantage of his good hydro application to enable reactions.
Burgeon = Thoma + Dendro + flex (hydro/dendro res, or cryo/bennett/zhongli/albedo/sucrose/fischl), or dendro + Kazuha + Bennett
Hyperbloom = Kuki or Raiden + Dendro + flex (same options)
Taser = Beidou + Fischl + anemo or Bennett
Soup = electro + Kazuha + Bennett
He works on Nilou bloom too, and freeze when enemies are freezable. I also play him with Furina Kazuha Mika for a mono hydro/hypercarry team.
GUYS WHAT IS THE YELLOW ARROW NEXT TO MY CHARACTERS ICON IN THE CHARACTER SELECTION SCREEN???? I know I’m OCD and it’s not a big deal but it’s come out of no where and doing my head in that I can’t find a single thing about it online. It’s on my Clorinde, Faruzan, Thoma???? Does it have something to do with this event? I’m a semi new ish player. I can’t ascend or do anything up on them either so I know it’s not saying that. My Clorinde is lvl 80 too so if it was something to do with the event that confused me too cause it says they only need to be lvl 60. It’s a yellow arrow in a black circle.
So, with regards to Fantastical Blessing, several characters if they're in your party you just get a buff for free. Is there any catch to this in the regular overworld or is it just a free buff that rotates around the roster?
Is there any reason to keep the “Denial and Judgment” materials from the knave weekly fight or can I just craft them into “Fading Candle” for my Arlecchino?
There's a good chance Emilie and the initial Natlan characters will use those mats. It's basically a choice between building your Arle faster, or banking them for future characters.
Future characters may use that material. But it can take a while for them to be released, so it's ok to turn them to Fading Candle to level Arlecchino's talents.
Different characters could use it, but as no other character has released yet that needs them then you can convert them as you see fit. Using dream solvent to do it can use up your dream solvents if you have a lot of characters and get unlucky rolls on your other character boss talent materials.
So, if all I'm looking to do is explore/play the story/do event stuff, can I just play whatever 4 characters I like? I get that there is a meta but I mostly just want to chill and do fun stuff, And I have some early front-runner favorite characters I want to get and play.
you can but I recommend it to at least have some base elemental reactions that they can cycle together, like some sort of synergy, and if you suck at dodging bring a healer in your party. both those things really helped me comfortably roam while still learning and enjoying the game without worrying about stats too much
Pretty much, but like... you'll still make your life easier by using a team that at least kind of functions. Like, the meta is the meta because it's optimised for the hardest content in the game, but at it's core it's really just some basic principles that apply to literally all combat. Stuff like:
* Using more than one main DPS is gonna slow you down because a unit that's sitting off field doing nothing is not contributing
* Most teams only need one healer or shielder, more is overkill (especially for easy content)
* Some units have conditions on their kits that either require or heavily reward you for using certain combinations of elements (e.g. 3 Geo for Gorou, or only Hydro/Dendro for Nilou)
* Triggering beneficial elemental reactions that synergise with your main DPS' playstyle just makes things work so much better.
So while sure, you could absolutely pootle around the open world with Noelle, Mona, Diluc and Alhaitham... you're gonna have a much more enjoyable time if you build an actual team for them, and it won't take you 20 minutes to kill a boss either.

Need help finishing Varuna Gatha aranara quest. I planted 12 viparyas and they’re fully grown (been so for a while now) but the next quest won’t trigger. I talk to Aranakula and Arakara and they just say they’re happy without triggering the next part. My journal still says to bring back vasmrti to plant them. Can anyone help?

Hello I have a question. Is there an update to how often spiral abyss resets? I know that it's supposed to update twice a month, but I didnt get a waning phase for June, and for July it still says it needs 14 days to reset even though i haven't done spiral abyss for july yet

How do I ensure that my team gets their bursts quicker? I watch these cool fighting videos on YouTube and it seems like their bursts get recharged so fast and I don't know how to replicate it. The team was an f2p team of Lisa Collier dendro mc and barbara
The main way is to invest in energy recharge. There's some characters that need upwards of 200-250% energy recharge in order to get their bursts back up reliably. It's usually not that much, but most characters will need more than the base 100% to reliably keep them up.
Unless they happen to have ER as their ascension stat (which is only the case for 6 characters), then you'll have to get more from their weapon and/or artifacts.

I feel like it has to be Furina with her two stances that each need an Ousia and Pneuma explanation. And when you look at her C6, the explanation is so long.

What should my Ganyu's artifacts look like in a team of Ayaka/Kokomi/Ganyu/Venti? She's on 4pc Blizzard Strayer with an r2 Alley Hunter.
Currently i have her on atk/cryo/crit rate (it has an 18.7% crit dmg substat and a 15.2% atk substat), with her goblet and flower currently at level 0 and her feather at 16, she has 39.2% crit rate/152.9% crit dmg/ 1835 atk/ 128.5% er.
This is before any buffs from Blizzard Strayer and Cryo Resonance, so you can add an additional 55% to her in battle crit rate for 94.2% rate.
Ooh, burst support Alley Hunter Ganyu is neat, haven't run into that before.

But since she's not staying on field on this team I'd err on the higher side. Test her out in Abyss and see if she reliably gets her burst back — Venti helps quite a bit if he absorbs cryo, so you're probably fine.
It's a *bit* hard to evaluate her build without max level artifacts, though, since her stats can improve once you level them.
Do her low level artifacts have the potential to roll more crit damage/rate? Right now her crit damage is a *bit* low — 94:153 is a pretty skewed ratio when your goal is 1:2 including buffs.
If she rolls more crit damage on her other pieces then great, but if she rolls crit *rate* you may be able to use a crit damage circlet.
Overall you're on the right track, though, just finish leveling her artifacts (and make sure her burst is leveled up!).

I decided to defeat the weekly bosses I need for my future and current character talents... because my drop RNG is atrocious so far. Won't do it every week though.

Tally up (or just estimate) the number of weekly boss mats you need to hit your target talent levels for your characters. It takes 1/1/2/2 weekly boss mats to level a talent to 7/8/9/10 respectively. So a character you're planning to triple crown will require much more mats (18) than a character you're just going to stop at 6/6/6 with (0).
Pick the top 3 bosses.
It's kind of up to you?
I usually do 3 weekly bosses every week, so I stop after the discount runs out.
You can probably prioritize characters who really need more talent levels + bosses whose drops are useful for multiple characters — i.e. getting your main DPS's important abilities to lv8-10 is more important than maxing out your healers and shielders, in most cases.
Eventually you'll get to a point where you don't need more drops from old bosses though. I haven't touched the wolf in a couple years, since I'm done building every character who needs his drops.
I don't play Xiao, but Furina will make you do way more damage. As long as you can dodge i'd say yes, absolutely, ditch the old geezer and get you those fat fanfare buffs.
She would be better damage wise but not that much as you only heal xiao in that team and thus very limited stacks. Also the rest of your party will stay at 50%.
If you are comfortable without this damage utility then she will be better than zhongli, else use zhongli
Significantly, and it gets you one step closer to his best team (with Xianyun instead of Bennett).
Zhongli is mainly providing comfort with his shield + some resistance shred, whereas Furina does a lot of good damage *herself* and gives Xiao a big damage% buff.
Furina-Bennett synergy is limited since he's a single target healer (and she prefers team healing to max out her buff), but with Bennett's healing + Xiao's HP drain you'll still get a lot out of her.

Okay, so I'm guessing you started playing on Playstation but no longer have access to a PS4 or PS5. And you want to access this account on PC or mobile now and you need your UID to do this. Is that correct?
OK, well I don't have any experience with this particular problem but I can tell you giving your account details to strangers on the internet is not the solution. Maybe find a game shop in your area and ask an employee if you can use one of their Playstations. Or just be patient until you can access one again. You gotta be smarter than just offering up your account to anyone who will pretend to help you.

Could be a good off piece or 2p2p combo for someone with EM scaling, especially if you don’t have other flowers with more EM.
What's a good only 4 star Kaveh team? I don't have any 5 stars (I've been saving for c6 Venti ever since I started on a different account) and I want to know any effective Kaveh team that doesn't include 5 stars like the main teams I got when I looked up good teams for him.
Xingqiu Kuki Dendro Traveler
Kaveh's kit is pretty bad but at least in a comp like this he can provide dendro resonance + a little bit of application, but you have to be careful to not accidentally detonate blooms with his kit because it's just worse than hyperblooms lol
Kaveh teams are a little hard to make work in general ngl, even moreso because we barely have any 4* hydro characters in the game.
It’s always going to be Kaveh + Xingqiu (if you’re playing him for bloom as intended), but the last two slots can vary. c6 Candace or Barbara for more hydro, a dendro support (any of them work) to hold deepwood and trigger resonance, Sucrose to buff EM, a cryo support for fridge, Thoma for burgeon (since Kaveh will self heal off of burgeon too).
Personally I find Kaveh burgeon a LOT easier to make work than pure bloom, and I like playing burgeon with no real healer/shielder. Kaveh Xingqiu Thoma + Kaeya or Rosaria could be a fun fridge + burgeon team. Swap Thoma out for Sucrose, hydro, or dendro to run pure bloom.
Just ended up getting an onset Anemo DMG Goblet for Wanderer and switched his Lost Prayer R2 to Widsith R5 due to the excess Crit Rate it was giving (107% CR, 126% CD), now he's at 77% CR, 182% CD. I really don't want to continue farming for a Crit DMG circlet in the Desert Pavillion Chronicle domain and I'm building him not for Abyss but just as a general overworld user (I already have 36 star Abyss teams including a premium Xiao team for when I need Anemo).
A bunch of people last time I asked were telling me to keep Lost Prayer even if I overcap on Crit Rate but is that really THAT much of an improvement that a 7% CR cap still would make Lost Prayer better than Widsith?
(edit: typo) If you’re just using him for overworld it *really* doesn’t matter, both builds will be fine.
I’d probably keep him on Widsith with those stats, though. Lost Prayers is significantly better, but we should be getting DPC in the strongbox in 5.0 anyway, so you can just use him on Widsith for a couple patches and switch him over to Lost Prayers with a cdmg circlet later when you don’t have to farm the domain to do so, if you want.
True. Gotcha. Currently have over a 100 pieces for foddering potential so not a lot but good enough to potentially get something but I think I'm happy enough for overworld. I'll look into building him further later and focus on other characters and increasing more artifact fodder amounts. Thanks.
Is it too late for me to start playing Genshin? I first started in 2020/maybe early 2021 but gave up without really playing because my device at the time was... less than good to play on. Now I think I missed out on too much, and I've seen people talking about "reruns" on characters, so can I not get characters like the Wanderer now? Also, the lore is realllyyyy confusing and I don't know what to do about it. I don't understand the lore and fear that I've missed out on getting characters that I really like from what I've seen of them.

It's not too late to play Genshin, and you'll have a ton of things to do as a new player. Over time, this game has pretty much become one of the largest open world JRPGs out there. Don't be stressed about the FOMO.
You can pull for every single 4 star and 5 star character except a random collab character (Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn). However, limited 5-star characters are not available year-round. Wanderer is not available now and while no one knows the exact date any character will rerun, it will happen eventually.
You can pull for every single 5 star weapon, and nearly every 4 star weapon (except for 14 event weapons, which aren't really a big deal).
You can play every single main story quest (known as Archon quests) and every world quest. The only thing you've missed out on are mostly filler events, which can all be watched on YouTube anyways. If you don't understand it, [here is a YouTube video breaking down the story before Fontaine](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=axbnt_DkN_c). That same YouTuber also has breakdowns of Fontaine's story in separate videos.
Beyond what I already mentioned, the only truly limited things are inconsequential, like little pets that float around your character, a handful of glider skins, a fishing rod, a couple special furniture sets. Nothing world shattering.
I started playing in May and I'm now caught up on most quests (all of the Archon quests). I understand most of the lore too and there is a lot of Youtube content that will catch you up on lore that you don't know
Its not too late. You can only get characters when they are currently running on the banner, but characters continue to get reruns, so whoever you want you will be able to get eventually, you may just have to wait a bit.
Wanderer will be available again, but he isn’t right now. There are always two features 5 star characters, and they rotate, so you’ve missed *some* chances to get him but will have more chances in the future.
I don’t think it’s too late to start if you enjoy the game. If you rush to catch up it’ll get overwhelming, but if you take your time and enjoy the journey you’ll be fine. There are also some good videos online summarizing the lore, and you don’t *need* to understand all the deeper lore to engage with the main story, so don’t feel too bad if it’s confusing at first. The important things will click eventually, and if you’re interested in the more obscure lore there are resources to help!
The only things you’ve “missed out” on are limited time events, but most of them haven’t contained big plot info for a few years now tbh. You can always look up videos of them if they feature some of your favorite characters, but the main plot and majority of the content in the game is permanent.

We had a couple VERY early leaks about her but she’s so far off that they’re questionable at best — even if they were accurate, Hoyo may change their mind about her kit between now and her release.
It’s fairly likely she’ll work with Furina though, imo. Even characters who have bad synergy with Furina (Arle, Nilou teams) still *can* work with her even if it isn’t ideal, her buff is pretty universal.
It’s *possible* to design a character who genuinely can’t have Furina on their teams without ruining them, but it takes effort, so it’s safe to assume she’s an option.
Sorry I dont know much but I think ive heard from a leak she will be cyro (and a lot of people think she will be anemo) so id guess one of those two. I think she's a little too far off to know much concrete evidence but we will see if anyone else knows anything on her here lol
Hello! I have a quick question reguarding resonance stones. So ive used a hydro resonance stone and got a hydroculous thats locked behind the unfinished comedy quest. I have other hydroculous I want to get but when I try to use another it refuses to cancel it. Is there any way to get rid of the current resonance stone affect so I can use another or do I have to do the quest :(

Hello everyone. My fiancée loves this game and for her birthday I decided the best gift I could give is to try it out too to share her joy. I'm only a few days in so I'm a complete beginner and I have a lot of questions, excuse the noobness. Some are story related and some are game related.
1. Why does nobody care that Paimon is a miniature floating childlike person?
2. Is there a pattern for why characters get certain visions (for example getting Cryo over Pyro) or is it just random in this world?
3. I want to raise characters that will be good in co-op so I can play with her. Right now I have Furina (got super lucky doing wishes), Fischl, Noelle, Gaming, Kaveh, Bennett, Dori, and the default ones. Would any of them fit this criteria or does it not matter?
4. Are any characters good with physical damage?
5. Are there any old events that are important to understand the story? I don't like that you can't view them after they disappear but I guess I can watch them on YT.

A theory is that Paimon has a perception shield. No one questions it. Another is that, the traveller is a person who breaks the rules of Teyvat by using elements without a vision, you're gonna question the floating gremlin?

Usually depends on what ''challenge'' they're experiencing, or their own personality. Noelle wants an anemo vision, but she got geo instead

The 2 Albedo events, 2 Golden Apple Archipelago events, The Shiki Taishou Event, The Springvale Oceanid event, and Klee Sumeru Desert event
1. A lot of people speculate on the answer to this, but it's probably plot-related and will be explained one day as a surprise.
2. A lot of people also speculate on this, but nothing definitive has ever been stated.
3. It doesn't matter too much, since all characters are good in this game so you can largely use who you like. One thing that's always appreciated in coop is a good healer, which could be Furina. Bennett as well, but he heals with his burst, which is fine for domains but not great for overworld if that's what you mean by coop. If your fiancee has specific characters she likes to play, you could look for characters that synergize with them.
4. People will say no even as there is someone sharing their Zhongli on the frontpage that's clearing the hardest content in the game right now. Closer to the truth is that you can make it work, but it takes more effort and won't win *as hard* as the so-called meta builds that people obsess with around here. People in the Genshin community really want there to be a meta they can obsess over and trash on characters that aren't the top of the meta, but it doesn't make much sense because this is a singleplayer RPG and they purposefully designed it so every character is viable. Eula is the premier physical damage DPS. Personally, I sometimes run Zhongli as physical.
5. Not particularly. It's a thing the community likes to complain about a lot, but it's kinda overrated as none of it is super story important. I'd also love to go back and experience some of them myself, but it's not a huge deal and I still understand everything in the story without having played the old events.
1. The short answer is that there are a LOT of weird magical creatures so nobody expects to have heard of them all. The long answer is there’s actually a long lists of weird guesses npc’s have made about what paimon is and a HUGE portion of fan theory crafting is dedicated to this

3. It doesn’t really matter too much in co op. Typically just bring a dps and maybe a healer if you need one. Furina could be ok but she will keep everyone’s hp drained to 50% if you use her skill
4. Keaya can be ok for physical dps, physical is currently the weakest damage type in the game right now. The other main physical characters are eula, razor, and fremenet
5. The first event, unreconciled stars, and the two dragonspine events
There are also two important cutscenes on the official Genshin YouTube, a winters night lazzo (was never in game) and a hexenzirkle one.

1. I sometimes wonder the same thing but there are a lot of weird creatures in this game that people know of so maybe they just don't question it lol
2. Its mainly random but people get visons as a gift from the gods and the type may have to do with their personaility / situation but it also might just be random. Id assume its random unless someone else here has a better answer lol
3. 2 player coop has each person use 2 characters each (4 total) so if you want to be completely a support for her furina is great for more dmg / heals, bennett is a really good supp too and Fischl is good for hyperbloom. Imo I dont think noelle and dori are very good but just play who you want and have fun :) (also you getting kaveh off banner while others wait 1 year + for him is so funny congrats on furina too)
4. Genshin's combat is very elemental reaction based as you likely know so to my knowledge there isnt a character that wants to run physical over their element. I have heard something out Eula running it but I think shes better with a cryo build lol. I think it would be really cool to see a pure physical dps one day that would just benefit from crit / attack buffs but we will see if they ever do that lol.
5. Old events are usually contained stories / just characters having fun so it wont have that big of an impact on the overall narrative. Though there have been a couple events like for Albedo that I never got to do because it was within the first year of the game that has lore for him I think. So for overall lore I think you're fine but for character specific lore its kinda character specific.

Should I pull Furina or wait for Nilou? I know Furina is objectively better, but I’m afraid my Neuvilette won’t have interruption resistance once I substitute Dehya in his team (it’s Neuvilette/Dehya/Raiden/Baizhu). I have her signature weapon though. I want Nilou because I really love dendro teams, and I already have both Kokomi and Nahida. Dockhand’s Assistant will have to do though.

Neuvi heals when he obsorbs his orbs, and loses hp as he charge attacks, if you are done killing all mobs, dash cancel his charage attack to not leave your neuvi with low hp, better yet if you have orbs laying around, start a charged attack and dash cancel immediately to keep him at full for overworld content.

I have a doubt related to imaginarium theater, you start with 6 charcters then you get 1 charcter randomly from your selection after completion of each round, and you have 2 uses of every character. So let's count the uses in start we have 12 uses as we start with 6 charcters, after 1st round ends we have +2 and -4 uses, so 10 uses, after 2nd round ends we have +2 and -4 uses, so 8 uses, after 3rd round ends we have 6 uses, after 4th round end we have 4 uses left BUT 2 uses are of the new charcters, so basically after the end of round 4 we are left with 3 charcters out of which 1 has 2 uses and 2 has 1 uses left. And we can't start the 5th round with 3 charcters left. So how in the world are we supposed to do that. And somehow we managed to do 5th round then we will have 2 charcters left, 1 with 2 uses(newer one) and one with 1 uses left for the 6th round. Honestly how did you guys do it.
You can buy reserve characters between acts, with the currency you earn every time you clear an act. You in fact start with some currency already, so my advise is to buy characters ASAP to have more team building options sooner, also allowing you to reserve some initial DMG dealers/supports for later stages.

I have no intention of ever pulling on Kokomi's banner, so I'm wondering how good the Nilou+Baizhu variant is compared to the Nilou+Kokomi? I'm thinking Nilou+Nahida+Baizhu+XQ vs whatever team is best with Kokomi How do these two teams compare?
You get less blooms since less AOE hydro application but it also makes the team stronger in ST which can be helpful when you want to brute force a boss chamber. So it really just kind of depends on preference

Baizhu versions of the team are pretty strong too, tbh. Nilou teams are really flexible. With Baizhu you'd either run Nahida on field with Xingqiu, or bring along an on-field hydro driver like Ayato (who has the advantage of more AoE hydro application than Xingqiu). I know there are Candace+Yaoyao variations as well, or of course EM Barbara.

hi please help me decide who to build for IT with my very limited characters eligible: kazuha, yae, anemo mc, xiangling, jean, beidou, fischl, bennett choices to build (only need 4): diluc, dehya, sucrose, lisa, amber, dori, sethos, razor, sayu, lynette, yanfei
Thoma is a very good shielder on certain teams (and great for burgeon). Sucrose is a great anemo buffer, so even though you already have Kazuha she's a pretty good choice. I'm a big fan of Yanfei, and it can be nice to have a ranged pyro DPS for certain content (even tho you already have Xiangling for pyro DPS in general) — you can also build shield Yanfei. Sethos (or Lisa) could be worth building, mainly for aggravate which you can't use this IT cycle but even no. Building Dehya can be fun even though she's not the strongest character (and she has some teams she fits on nowadays). Diluc can also be fun if you like him. So, some of those. If I were you I'd build Thoma Sucrose Sethos and Yanfei, but I just *like* all of them so I'm biased.

Hello. I need some help with team comps as a Clorinde main. I can’t really run Dendro teams since I don’t have many built Dendro chars and I have the worst EM known to man. I this is my current team: C0 clorinde (80) C0 xiangling (80) C0 ningguang (60) C3 layla (63) I also have these: C3 beidou (60) C1 faruzan (51) C1 Yaoyao (40) C1 Gaming (50) These have no cons: Gorou (20) YunJin, (24) Jean, (60) Qiqi, (60) Thoma, (20) Chevruse, (20) Barbara, (76) Lynette, (60) Collei, (24) Razor (36) Kaeya, (32) Lisa, (50) Amber, (55) Noelle, (38)
If you really don't want to use dendro, then [Chevreuse overload](https://keqingmains.com/q/clorinde-quickguide/#Chevreuse_Overloaded) is your next best option: Clorinde + Chevreuse + some combination of Xiangling, Beidou, and Thoma should work. Thoma if you need shielding, Xiangling and Beidou for more damage, all three of them will need a lot of energy be warned. That said, even with bad EM dendro teams are quite good for Clorinde, and usually better than overload. They're a lot better with Fischl, but [she should be available in the starglitter shop](https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Paimon%27s_Bargains#Rotation) for July. I'd recommend getting her, she's good on overload teams too. For dendro teams: Clorinde + Beidou (replace with Fischl) + Lynette + Collei or Yaoyao If you really need a shield, you could replace Beidou or Lynette with Layla for less damage but more comfort. If you have Fischl don't replace her, she's too good on aggravate teams.

i can very much say: No Gaming is a main dps. its more like hed be a Clorinde replacement. if hes not thr main dps, not worth using at all. i use him with Bennett and Xianyun, at first with Rosaria for Melt, that was decent. then Xingqiu for vape. went better cause sword protection is nice. now i replaced him with Furina. more power. ill switch back to Xingqiu if i feel i need protection Chevreuse is still very good at c0 so id still recommend her if you dont mind the specific overload team limitation. convenient to give her staff from alchemy event if you have it Thoma, you'd like c2 at least for easier shield upkeep

So there is no other way? What about using friends characters? I can't see any option to use them. Also there is this thing called special guest characters who can be of any element, how do I use that? Are these options not for when you don't have enough characters? pretty sure livestream said that that's what they are for.
You will get 1 character from friend when you have all the 18 characters, cus you need 10,14,18 charcters to start a mode and then after that you can get 1 charcter from your friends, that's according to all of my understanding, I don't know if this is the whole truth, but I don’t like thus thing, they expect us to build 18 charcters of only 3 elements wtf. Honestly I don't like this end game mode there are too many restrictions

What would the best party setup be for me? Hello, I used to play back in 2021 but didn't really understand the game. Now I'd like to start playing again but I'm not sure how to build my party setup. I have Hu tao, Jean, Bennett, mona, kokomi, amber, ningguang(x4), kaeya, yun jin, xongqiu, chongyun(x1), Thoma(x2), sayu(x3), Lisa, Barbara, aloy, razor, xiangling, beidou, Noelle, rosaria(x1), kujou Sara and Lynette. What's the best party I can build?
if any have cons, could you edit and write (x) after them? if none, no need should mention good idea to change Traveler to Dendro, and you can get another dendro, Collei from spiral abyss floor 4, if you did it already, should appear in Event tab. generally Hu Tao always worth pairing with Xingqiu, id really like to recommend Thoma with her to play more easily, and maybe Lynette as last. not sure about rotations though. some people use Yunjin on the team to make Hu Tao normal attacks better. up to you how you fit her. give up anemo shred or give up pyro resonance Bennett and Xiangling are always recommended, most people add Xingqiu to it and someone else to normal attack during bursts. with Bennett/XL i could recommend Chongyun and Rosaria for a reverse melt team or Kaeya and Sayu, using Sayu to spin around while Kaeya and/or XL burst follow her you have Kokomi and Beidou, if you could, get Fischl from this month's starglitter shop. youd use Kokomi as onfield character and electros no idea who to add last, or Kokomi teams in general. give her Prototype amber or Thriling tales (many 3 star weapons are worth keeping and refining btw) and could fit her easily into most teams Ningguang and Noelle, ideally one or the other with Favonius if you have any, Noelle is useful but doesnt generate energy by herself then could go for Bennett/Xiangling again, or Kaeya and Rosaria, Beidou and Fischl, Beidou/Fischl and Xingqiu some useful off field damage you pick Razor, you pair with a second electro and dendros for aggravate team. Razor has a physical damage ascension stat so many people used him with cryo for superconduct but physical isnt that great later on

I would not run Kazuha in that team. He's still fine as he gives good grouping, but he can't buff Hu Tao since he can't easily swirl Pyro making his contribution less relevant. Sucrose will actually do a bit more in that team simply because she can at least buff Hu Tao's EM. Another option you can make a Hyperbloom team that doesn't really utilise Furina's mains strength, but she's still fine there - with Barbara, Furina, Dendro MC and EM Raiden. Dendro MC needs a lot of ER though since they are very reliant on their burst. If you want something different with Furina, I can recommend Qiqi, Furina, Fischl and Beidou. Qiqi isn't the best investment target though, but she is a good on-field healer for Furina. This is a pretty good team in AoE, not so great in single target though. Finally, if you want to use Furina with Hu Tao, you really want a party healer/debuffer. Switching out Kazuha and Zhongli and replacing them with Furina and Sayu will be better than what you currently have. The biggest issue is the lack of a shield for Hu Tao.
Do Furina, Kazuha, Hu Tao and Zhongli. Xingqiu is good f2p option but now you have Furina so you can replace him.

Definetly try to grind for better ones. U want Def% on sands, geo dmg on cup and crit on hat. For substats go for Def%, Crit rate and crit dmg. Try to get a good amount of crit rate and atleast double crit dmg.

If you really like Sigewinne she's *fine*, but do you actually *need* a hydro healer specifically? There are plenty of good Furina double hydro teams that use an anemo or cryo healer, after all. Sigewinne also doesn't fit on most teams that Kokomi excels on, since Kokomi's hydro application is a lot better. If you want a Kokomi-like character, just get Kokomi. I'd recommend saving. Furina c2 is already so strong that you don't really need to upgrade her further unless you're aiming for c6 tbh, and there are other characters you could get instead who would likely improve your account more. It depends who you already have ofc, but I'd stop at c2.
For hydro application I got both yelan , xq c6 and neuvi too ( I use him on neuvi hyperbloom ). Right now I want some good mono hydro teams.. Barbara works as a good driver for me but she and kokomi needs to be on field. Jean is there, but she only does burst heal and VV. I want to use kazuha instead of jean for grouping but I don't have any other healer for furina.. I don't wanna go for nilou, may be navia ? But still I don't have kokomi or any good healer for navia

Key of Khaj-Nisut is fine for Furina, right? I wasn't honestly planning to pull her very seriously, so I didn't prep anything and I haven't fished since Inazuma.
For C0 in my experience: I have Key and R2 Jadecutter and end up running her most of the time with either Festering Desire or Fav. Key in most teams key isn't a big difference but you just won't be able to hit er requirements for some, so I like the er options better. If you don't have festering the pipe is just a little bit less damage for some more er.

If you're playing her solo hydro (or even double hydro on teams with bad energy generation), you're *really* better off just putting her on Favonius or the free fishable sword Fleuve Cendre. Her burst is the most important part of her kit, and if you can't meet her energy needs a 5\* weapon won't be much of an upgrade.
Honestly, I haven't yet figured out where she's going. There's no teams that really need her, so I'm just farming GT at the moment to see where she ends up.
If you want her to be versatile and don't have a specific team in mind, I'd stick to an ER sword. [Her energy requirements can range from 130% to 210%](https://keqingmains.com/q/furina-quickguide/#ER_Requirements) depending on the team, so keeping her in the 160-180 range or higher is probably a good idea, and will let you experiment with her on lots of teams without running into energy problems.
I'm just really short on Favs, is the only thing. I literally have 5 (R2 + R3) despite playing since 1.x, and they're pretty firmly welded to Kazuha and Xingqiu, while Khaj-Nisut has been sitting homeless in my bag for like a year now. I'll see how much ER I can juice her up with via substats... she's at 180 with the cobbled-together 4pc GT, and I haven't even got a goblet sorted for her yet.
FYI an HP% goblet is actually *better* for her until c2, especially if she's on an ER% sands, so that shouldn't be too hard to farm. Tbh 180% ER is *pretty* good, so Key may be fine, especially if you aren't planning to get Nilou. If you feel like fishing for Fleuve that's also a good option (with a nice crit rate passive) that'll let you keep fav on the characters who need it, but I understand not wanting to fish.

interactive map says there’s a torch puzzle there. checked the location out in-game and i’m pretty sure this area is only accessible after a certain part in the liloupar quest so you have to do that first.

It's ok but not as good as the pipe. Since she doesn't use Attack, the only stat on it she cares about is the ER and the small crit chance passive, R5 pipe has 12% more CR and 10% less ER (but also an extra 32 ER for 5 seconds each rotation, which probably balances out to be slightly better). If you don't want to fish though it's not like it's gonna be a huge downgrade unless your team actually relies on her personal damage, but you're better off just fishing,

Ayato/Bennett/Fischl/Kazuha is my go-to, it's secretly a team that can clear anything. Like, every type of shield, boss, mobs... It has a little finesse with what you absorb with Kazuha's burst and different rotations.

Ayato is really versatile, so he has a lot of options. Imo he feels best on burgeon, hyperbloom, taser, and "soup" teams, since they take advantage of his good hydro application to enable reactions. Burgeon = Thoma + Dendro + flex (hydro/dendro res, or cryo/bennett/zhongli/albedo/sucrose/fischl), or dendro + Kazuha + Bennett Hyperbloom = Kuki or Raiden + Dendro + flex (same options) Taser = Beidou + Fischl + anemo or Bennett Soup = electro + Kazuha + Bennett He works on Nilou bloom too, and freeze when enemies are freezable. I also play him with Furina Kazuha Mika for a mono hydro/hypercarry team.

So, with regards to Fantastical Blessing, several characters if they're in your party you just get a buff for free. Is there any catch to this in the regular overworld or is it just a free buff that rotates around the roster?
Is there any reason to keep the “Denial and Judgment” materials from the knave weekly fight or can I just craft them into “Fading Candle” for my Arlecchino?
There's a good chance Emilie and the initial Natlan characters will use those mats. It's basically a choice between building your Arle faster, or banking them for future characters.
Future characters may use that material. But it can take a while for them to be released, so it's ok to turn them to Fading Candle to level Arlecchino's talents.
Different characters could use it, but as no other character has released yet that needs them then you can convert them as you see fit. Using dream solvent to do it can use up your dream solvents if you have a lot of characters and get unlucky rolls on your other character boss talent materials.
So, if all I'm looking to do is explore/play the story/do event stuff, can I just play whatever 4 characters I like? I get that there is a meta but I mostly just want to chill and do fun stuff, And I have some early front-runner favorite characters I want to get and play.
you can but I recommend it to at least have some base elemental reactions that they can cycle together, like some sort of synergy, and if you suck at dodging bring a healer in your party. both those things really helped me comfortably roam while still learning and enjoying the game without worrying about stats too much
Biggest overworld thing will be puzzles. You may find that certain regions favor certain puzzles that require or are easier with certain characters.
Pretty much, but like... you'll still make your life easier by using a team that at least kind of functions. Like, the meta is the meta because it's optimised for the hardest content in the game, but at it's core it's really just some basic principles that apply to literally all combat. Stuff like: * Using more than one main DPS is gonna slow you down because a unit that's sitting off field doing nothing is not contributing * Most teams only need one healer or shielder, more is overkill (especially for easy content) * Some units have conditions on their kits that either require or heavily reward you for using certain combinations of elements (e.g. 3 Geo for Gorou, or only Hydro/Dendro for Nilou) * Triggering beneficial elemental reactions that synergise with your main DPS' playstyle just makes things work so much better. So while sure, you could absolutely pootle around the open world with Noelle, Mona, Diluc and Alhaitham... you're gonna have a much more enjoyable time if you build an actual team for them, and it won't take you 20 minutes to kill a boss either.

Hello I have a question. Is there an update to how often spiral abyss resets? I know that it's supposed to update twice a month, but I didnt get a waning phase for June, and for July it still says it needs 14 days to reset even though i haven't done spiral abyss for july yet
New things. Spiral abyss resets once a month. But gives 800 primos instead Every 16th of the month, new endgame, Imaginarium Theatre resets. Giving 600 primos. So overall, we'll have and extra 200 primos per month.
You kinda got it backwards. Abyss resets every 16th while Theatre resets every 1st instead. The first Theatre just released in Asia.
They changed it to once a month now, because they are adding a second endgame mode "imaginarium theatre".

The main way is to invest in energy recharge. There's some characters that need upwards of 200-250% energy recharge in order to get their bursts back up reliably. It's usually not that much, but most characters will need more than the base 100% to reliably keep them up.

Who's kit has the highest word count?
I feel like it has to be Furina with her two stances that each need an Ousia and Pneuma explanation. And when you look at her C6, the explanation is so long.
In order to answer this question I’d have to go onto the wiki and copy paste every character’s kit into a word counter (skipping the short ones), so if you really want to know you can probably do that yourself. I doubt anyone knows off the top of their head.
What should my Ganyu's artifacts look like in a team of Ayaka/Kokomi/Ganyu/Venti? She's on 4pc Blizzard Strayer with an r2 Alley Hunter. Currently i have her on atk/cryo/crit rate (it has an 18.7% crit dmg substat and a 15.2% atk substat), with her goblet and flower currently at level 0 and her feather at 16, she has 39.2% crit rate/152.9% crit dmg/ 1835 atk/ 128.5% er. This is before any buffs from Blizzard Strayer and Cryo Resonance, so you can add an additional 55% to her in battle crit rate for 94.2% rate.
Ooh, burst support Alley Hunter Ganyu is neat, haven't run into that before. Test her out in Abyss and see if she reliably gets her burst back — Venti helps quite a bit if he absorbs cryo, so you're probably fine. It's a *bit* hard to evaluate her build without max level artifacts, though, since her stats can improve once you level them. Do her low level artifacts have the potential to roll more crit damage/rate? Right now her crit damage is a *bit* low — 94:153 is a pretty skewed ratio when your goal is 1:2 including buffs. If she rolls more crit damage on her other pieces then great, but if she rolls crit *rate* you may be able to use a crit damage circlet. Overall you're on the right track, though, just finish leveling her artifacts (and make sure her burst is leveled up!).
Should I be killing every weekly boss? I still have characters that need some drop from each of them but it takes nearly half of my weekly resin (and with natlan bosses it will take over half)
Depends. If you need artifacts/other mats more then no. I decided to defeat the weekly bosses I need for my future and current character talents... because my drop RNG is atrocious so far. Won't do it every week though.

It takes 1/1/2/2 weekly boss mats to level a talent to 7/8/9/10 respectively. So a character you're planning to triple crown will require much more mats (18) than a character you're just going to stop at 6/6/6 with (0). Pick the top 3 bosses.
Whichever you need If you don't need any, whichever you're lowest on. That's my thought process at least
It's kind of up to you? I usually do 3 weekly bosses every week, so I stop after the discount runs out. You can probably prioritize characters who really need more talent levels + bosses whose drops are useful for multiple characters — i.e. getting your main DPS's important abilities to lv8-10 is more important than maxing out your healers and shielders, in most cases. Eventually you'll get to a point where you don't need more drops from old bosses though. I haven't touched the wolf in a couple years, since I'm done building every character who needs his drops.

I don't play Xiao, but Furina will make you do way more damage. As long as you can dodge i'd say yes, absolutely, ditch the old geezer and get you those fat fanfare buffs.
She would be better damage wise but not that much as you only heal xiao in that team and thus very limited stacks. Also the rest of your party will stay at 50%. If you are comfortable without this damage utility then she will be better than zhongli, else use zhongli
Significantly, and it gets you one step closer to his best team (with Xianyun instead of Bennett). Zhongli is mainly providing comfort with his shield + some resistance shred, whereas Furina does a lot of good damage *herself* and gives Xiao a big damage% buff. Furina-Bennett synergy is limited since he's a single target healer (and she prefers team healing to max out her buff), but with Bennett's healing + Xiao's HP drain you'll still get a lot out of her.

OK, well I don't have any experience with this particular problem but I can tell you giving your account details to strangers on the internet is not the solution. Maybe find a game shop in your area and ask an employee if you can use one of their Playstations. Or just be patient until you can access one again. Fischl and off field Yae on dendro teams, forward vape Furina I guess, technically Nahida (if she’s off field and someone else is holding Deepwood). Could be a good off piece or 2p2p combo for someone with EM scaling, especially if you don’t have other flowers with more EM.

If it's the only good stat on it, probably not. A double crit piece with 3 EM rolls is excellent for someone like Fischl though

What's a good only 4 star Kaveh team? I don't have any 5 stars (I've been saving for c6 Venti ever since I started on a different account) and I want to know any effective Kaveh team that doesn't include 5 stars like the main teams I got when I looked up good teams for him.
Xingqiu Kuki Dendro Traveler Kaveh's kit is pretty bad but at least in a comp like this he can provide dendro resonance + a little bit of application, but you have to be careful to not accidentally detonate blooms with his kit because it's just worse than hyperblooms lol
Kaveh teams are a little hard to make work in general ngl, even moreso because we barely have any 4* hydro characters in the game. It’s always going to be Kaveh + Xingqiu (if you’re playing him for bloom as intended), but the last two slots can vary. c6 Candace or Barbara for more hydro, a dendro support (any of them work) to hold deepwood and trigger resonance, Sucrose to buff EM, a cryo support for fridge, Thoma for burgeon (since Kaveh will self heal off of burgeon too). Personally I find Kaveh burgeon a LOT easier to make work than pure bloom, and I like playing burgeon with no real healer/shielder. Kaveh Xingqiu Thoma + Kaeya or Rosaria could be a fun fridge + burgeon team. Swap Thoma out for Sucrose, hydro, or dendro to run pure bloom.

Just ended up getting an onset Anemo DMG Goblet for Wanderer and switched his Lost Prayer R2 to Widsith R5 due to the excess Crit Rate it was giving (107% CR, 126% CD), now he's at 77% CR, 182% CD. I really don't want to continue farming for a Crit DMG circlet in the Desert Pavillion Chronicle domain and I'm building him not for Abyss but just as a general overworld user (I already have 36 star Abyss teams including a premium Xiao team for when I need Anemo). A bunch of people last time I asked were telling me to keep Lost Prayer even if I overcap on Crit Rate but is that really THAT much of an improvement that a 7% CR cap still would make Lost Prayer better than Widsith?
(edit: typo) If you’re just using him for overworld it *really* doesn’t matter, both builds will be fine. I’d probably keep him on Widsith with those stats, though. Lost Prayers is significantly better, but we should be getting DPC in the strongbox in 5.0 anyway, so you can just use him on Widsith for a couple patches and switch him over to Lost Prayers with a cdmg circlet later when you don’t have to farm the domain to do so, if you want.
True. Gotcha. Currently have over a 100 pieces for foddering potential so not a lot but good enough to potentially get something but I think I'm happy enough for overworld. I'll look into building him further later and focus on other characters and increasing more artifact fodder amounts. Thanks.
Is it too late for me to start playing Genshin? I first started in 2020/maybe early 2021 but gave up without really playing because my device at the time was... less than good to play on. Now I think I missed out on too much, and I've seen people talking about "reruns" on characters, so can I not get characters like the Wanderer now? Also, the lore is realllyyyy confusing and I don't know what to do about it. I don't understand the lore and fear that I've missed out on getting characters that I really like from what I've seen of them. It's not too late to play Genshin, and you'll have a ton of things to do as a new player. Over time, this game has pretty much become one of the largest open world JRPGs out there. Don't be stressed about the FOMO. You can pull for every single 4 star and 5 star character except a random collab character (Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn). However, limited 5-star characters are not available year-round. Wanderer is not available now and while no one knows the exact date any character will rerun, it will happen eventually. You can pull for every single 5 star weapon, and nearly every 4 star weapon (except for 14 event weapons, which aren't really a big deal). You can play every single main story quest (known as Archon quests) and every world quest. The only thing you've missed out on are mostly filler events, which can all be watched on YouTube anyways. That same YouTuber also has breakdowns of Fontaine's story in separate videos. Beyond what I already mentioned, the only truly limited things are inconsequential, like little pets that float around your character, a handful of glider skins, a fishing rod, a couple special furniture sets. Nothing world shattering.
I started playing in May and I'm now caught up on most quests (all of the Archon quests). I understand most of the lore too and there is a lot of Youtube content that will catch you up on lore that you don't know

Its not too late. You can only get characters when they are currently running on the banner, but characters continue to get reruns, so whoever you want you will be able to get eventually, you may just have to wait a bit.
Wanderer will be available again, but he isn’t right now. There are always two features 5 star characters, and they rotate, so you’ve missed *some* chances to get him but will have more chances in the future. I don’t think it’s too late to start if you enjoy the game. If you rush to catch up it’ll get overwhelming, but if you take your time and enjoy the journey you’ll be fine. There are also some good videos online summarizing the lore, and you don’t *need* to understand all the deeper lore to engage with the main story, so don’t feel too bad if it’s confusing at first. The important things will click eventually, and if you’re interested in the more obscure lore there are resources to help! The only things you’ve “missed out” on are limited time events, but most of them haven’t contained big plot info for a few years now tbh. You can always look up videos of them if they feature some of your favorite characters, but the main plot and majority of the content in the game is permanent.
does anyone know anything about columbina (like when she'll release, her kit, her role in a team etc) but one of my main questions is- do u think she would work with furina? thank u so much!
We had a couple VERY early leaks about her but she’s so far off that they’re questionable at best — even if they were accurate, Hoyo may change their mind about her kit between now and her release. It’s fairly likely she’ll work with Furina though, imo. Even characters who have bad synergy with Furina (Arle, Nilou teams) still *can* work with her even if it isn’t ideal, her buff is pretty universal. It’s *possible* to design a character who genuinely can’t have Furina on their teams without ruining them, but it takes effort, so it’s safe to assume she’s an option.
Sorry I dont know much but I think ive heard from a leak she will be cyro (and a lot of people think she will be anemo) so id guess one of those two. I think she's a little too far off to know much concrete evidence but we will see if anyone else knows anything on her here lol
Hello! I have a quick question reguarding resonance stones. So ive used a hydro resonance stone and got a hydroculous thats locked behind the unfinished comedy quest. I have other hydroculous I want to get but when I try to use another it refuses to cancel it. Is there any way to get rid of the current resonance stone affect so I can use another or do I have to do the quest :(
If there’s still a circle up that means you haven’t found the specific one the stone was pointing to yet, the one you found was just a bonus/freebie Edit: misread, there’s no way to cancel it

Hello everyone. My fiancée loves this game and for her birthday I decided the best gift I could give is to try it out too to share her joy. I'm only a few days in so I'm a complete beginner and I have a lot of questions, excuse the noobness. Some are story related and some are game related. 1. Why does nobody care that Paimon is a miniature floating childlike person? 2. Is there a pattern for why characters get certain visions (for example getting Cryo over Pyro) or is it just random in this world? 3. I want to raise characters that will be good in co-op so I can play with her. Right now I have Furina (got super lucky doing wishes), Fischl, Noelle, Gaming, Kaveh, Bennett, Dori, and the default ones. Would any of them fit this criteria or does it not matter? 4. Are any characters good with physical damage? 5. Are there any old events that are important to understand the story? I don't like that you can't view them after they disappear but I guess I can watch them on YT. Any answers appreciated!

1. A lot of people speculate on the answer to this, but it's probably plot-related and will be explained one day as a surprise. 2. A lot of people also speculate on this, but nothing definitive has ever been stated. 3. It doesn't matter too much, since all characters are good in this game so you can largely use who you like. One thing that's always appreciated in coop is a good healer, which could be Furina. Bennett as well, but he heals with his burst, which is fine for domains but not great for overworld if that's what you mean by coop. If your fiancee has specific characters she likes to play, you could look for characters that synergize with them. 4. People will say no even as there is someone sharing their Zhongli on the frontpage that's clearing the hardest content in the game right now. Closer to the truth is that you can make it work, but it takes more effort and won't win *as hard* as the so-called meta builds that people obsess with around here. People in the Genshin community really want there to be a meta they can obsess over and trash on characters that aren't the top of the meta, but it doesn't make much sense because this is a singleplayer RPG and they purposefully designed it so every character is viable. Eula is the premier physical damage DPS. Personally, I sometimes run Zhongli as physical. 5. Not particularly. It's a thing the community likes to complain about a lot, but it's kinda overrated as none of it is super story important. I'd also love to go back and experience some of them myself, but it's not a huge deal and I still understand everything in the story without having played the old events.

The long answer is there’s actually a long lists of weird guesses npc’s have made about what paimon is and a HUGE portion of fan theory crafting is dedicated to this 2. There’s no official pattern but lots of fan theories. 3. It doesn’t really matter too much in co op. Typically just bring a dps and maybe a healer if you need one. Furina could be ok but she will keep everyone’s hp drained to 50% if you use her skill 4. Keaya can be ok for physical dps, physical is currently the weakest damage type in the game right now. The other main physical characters are eula, razor, and fremenet 5. The first event, unreconciled stars, and the two dragonspine events There are also two important cutscenes on the official Genshin YouTube, a winters night lazzo (was never in game) and a hexenzirkle one. Hello! Im no expert but I will try my best to answer :) 1. I sometimes wonder the same thing but there are a lot of weird creatures in this game that people know of so maybe they just don't question it lol 2. Its mainly random but people get visons as a gift from the gods and the type may have to do with their personaility / situation but it also might just be random. Id assume its random unless someone else here has a better answer lol 3. 2 player coop has each person use 2 characters each (4 total) so if you want to be completely a support for her furina is great for more dmg / heals, bennett is a really good supp too and Fischl is good for hyperbloom. Imo I dont think noelle and dori are very good but just play who you want and have fun :) (also you getting kaveh off banner while others wait 1 year + for him is so funny congrats on furina too) 4. Genshin's combat is very elemental reaction based as you likely know so to my knowledge there isnt a character that wants to run physical over their element. I have heard something out Eula running it but I think shes better with a cryo build lol. I think it would be really cool to see a pure physical dps one day that would just benefit from crit / attack buffs but we will see if they ever do that lol. 5. Old events are usually contained stories / just characters having fun so it wont have that big of an impact on the overall narrative. Though there have been a couple events like for Albedo that I never got to do because it was within the first year of the game that has lore for him I think. So for overall lore I think you're fine but for character specific lore its kinda character specific. Hope this helps!

No co-op, but you can borrow up to 1 character from people on your friends list and use them yourself.
