player royalty mostly means sticking around from the start, ofc they are going to give more to someone who has been logging in for 800+ days vs someone who has only been there for 200

each regional rod is ever so slightly better than moonstringer in their own region, but it's all moot anyway. once you have stabilizer it doesn't really matter which rod you use, you pick one for drip.
I feel Moonstringer is just better when catching big fishes that need long catching time, small fishes don't matter much because of the Stabilizer. Also the Moonstringer works on every region.
Eh, I searched for sources from Reddit and Wiki and I even tested it myself and Moonstringer just better, especially if you managed to always stay in tension zone.

Yup. with how we know that MC can pretty much abuse Skill enhancing passives, Festering is pretty much has a 5 star passive for the 4.0 release.
Edit: forgotten to mention that in some way or form MC kit is a watered down version of the Archons so yeah having Festering is gonna be a Bragging right

I feel like every fishing rod just worse than Moonstringer (the event one), especially when the Stabilizer released.
I'm glad getting the moonsrtinger, it just makes fishing way easier.
They are worse. They exist for people who missed the event.
Why do they always have to make all the good things event exclusive, it's not fair (looking at you moknstringer and cinnabar spindle)
They reward player loyalty ig 🤷 But if they’re not gonna release spindle they need to make an alternative for the rest of players

nah i think just the extra fades they did at the start, and maybe some double rate bonuses and recipes? i dont really remember what was in 1.0

no it's been tested with video proof and all. regional rods are better in their respective regions.

I think of it more like a sidegrade to Festering Desire. Same Atk, same ER stat, and the passive effects are pretty similar too.
