Yeah. If anyone ever played Bleach vs One Piece in Warcraft 3 custom games, most of the Bleach characters share a bankai mechanic or an equivalent, like for the quincy. Basically a damage steroid as their 3rd skill with their own custom effects and visual changes. I am guessing Natlan characters can enter a dragonlike state that makes their dps or their supporting capabilities better. Imagine Bennett needing to enter an elemental skill stance so when you press his burst he gives you an attack buff but, if you do not enter this stance, his burst gives healing.
Iām calling it now, I think it has to do with summoning saurians or controlling them.
We have a Saurian for each element. I think we will get a 5* for each element and each of them has a Saurian partner that goes into battle with them. Natlan lore says warriors have Saurian partners, soā¦
Also people have been saying they want summons since before furina was unveiled. They were actually speculating Furina having summons for a while as well I think. Genshin already programmed friendly npcs throughout Fontaine and I know they love reusing code and mechanics on future charactersā kits.

Imagine each tribe will have their own unique buff related to specific stat. Like for example letās look at the first three tribes we got on the last Natlan teaser: the dendro animal tribe may give em or amplify those reactions, the water one increase HP or smt, and the Geo one def.
That could also explain as to why the three new characters belong to a different tribe and how those tribes were the ones they showed in the teaser. I mean they also match the elements of the tribe
So instead of characters divided between Pneuma and Ousia, we'll have *six* different states.
Which ultimately boils down to just some kit gimmick shared by like a 5\* and a 4* lol of each tribe lol.
then wake up and watch it be just puzzle solving mechanic, or stunning specific unit and realize there will be orb next to puzzles anyway so it won't matter, looking at fontaine "factions" they gave out lynette for free which is just one faction I doubt they would make 5 faction locked mechanic 5 characters at minimum

I feel like itāll affect the characters more than the enemies, cuz if it affected the enemies the 4 star geo polearm would prob have it asw considering that theyāre free (we always have a free 4* character at the start of a new region who helps with exploration)
Iām thinking one of two options: a rage state (draining team energy to continue dmg.) or turn off switching for BIG buffs to incentivize characters with high off-field presence and infinite uptimes.
Guys remember the BP weapon Talking Stick passive which gives you a buff depending on what elements you're affected with....maybe, who knows, maybe it's already a hint of some stunts they're pulling off in Natlan.
I can't tell if I just grew overly attached to Fontaine and Sumeru or if those Natlan leaks all sound utterly uninteresting (granted they're super vague rn)... Genuinely feels like Hoyo shot themselves in the foot in terms of hype and eradicating leaks. Then again I think everyone has hit or miss nations in terms of themes, characters, combat gimmick, puzzles. Natlan isn't doing it for me right now. I'm sure objectively Natlan's overworld will slap, the new dragon lore will be cool and the story will outdo itself as usual, but I can't find myself looking forward to anything right now. Instead I wish I could get like 3 more Fontaine expansions and an event where every Fontaine character interacts with each other instead of a Fontaine event that's all about goddamn Ayaka and some NPCs lol.

Either we'll only see them on the day of the drip, or they'll reveal them beforehand. Like Sumeru and Fontaine had a trailer showing the characters, and that should happen before the beta (I think it should happen on the same day as the 5.0 drip marketing? Or the day before, depending on your time zone). They could show them on the 4.8 live stream, which will certainly have another Natlan teaser, but I don't know if they'd show the characters there.
Actually, I just realized it may have something to do with pyro. If you noticed at the beginning of the Natlan teaser the dragons were kinda āactivatedā by pyro and The dragons themselves all have pyro abilities: ālava swim, throwing fireballs) so i think the characters may be able to do some very unexpected things.

What separates those two than the characters that go into different states during skills like Childe, Chlorinde, Ayato, Wanderer, Yoimiya and the like?

on a serious note, there can be varies different of "States" MHY can use to alterate the combat
* Classic Stance System, Characters alteratign between Offensive and Defensive Stance, which will change their Skills and how they fight completely
* Reaction based States, where the State you are in decides over it, which kind of reactions the Character can cause or vice versa, the reactions you cause, changing automatically the State your Character is in, which alterates how the Character operates..cause a Bloom, and the Character fights differently, then when causing Burnings ect.
* Transformations - implementating Shapeshifting Abilities, letting Natlan Characters uniquely be able to transform themself into some kind of Dragoon Avatars based on which Tribe they belong to, so Characters change between Human State and Dragoon State so to say.
* Summoners - the kind of Pokemon Style Gameplay, where you can switch between active and passive Combat Style, where if you are in Active State, you fight as your Character, and on passive State, your Character turns basically into "Summoner Mode" and becomes just a passive supporter of their summoned pet dragosn which you control then with their own Skill Sets.
* Blood Rush/Berserk State - simply some kind of new mechanic, which turns your characters temporarely into uncontrollable berserkers, which deal signifiacntly much more dmg, but in that time the AI just takes over your control for the duration of the state of Blood Rush/Berserk, kinda fitting imo for some warmonging tribes and kinda unique to temporarely willingly give up on your controls, to see the AI take over the fighting for you in a buffed form.
* War Cries - a simple different form of state, that works as a team buff, that only Natlan Characters can do, which is from Character to Character unique and different, and activates for each Natlan Character some side effects while the effect of their War Cry lasts
* Trances - something similar to Blood Rushes/Berserk Status, just without loss of character control and more similar to kind of "Super Sayan Auras" a state in which supernatural powers are unleashed that allow Natlans to do in short time windows things, that would be for other folks in the game basically impossible, which would explain to me, why for example Murata would be able to fight against Capitano and Columbina at the same time, because Natlans are just that war expertised combat machines, where nobody could rival them in close combat when they are first in their tranced state (remember Zidane FF9 Style), that Columbina and Capitano just HAVE to fight together, to stand a chance together in a battle against a Murata in her Trance State.
