I can't believe I never connected the blonde debutant to the bridesmaid! She has such a distinctive face! Now I'm headcanoning that's the same character, it would totally work!

I binged the whole show when watching for the first time, and I thought they were supposed to be the same character. Same thing happened with a few others. I was waiting for it to come up and then it just never did.
The actor who played Juliet, one of Logan’s friends in the Life and Death Brigade, also played one of the high school students at Stars Hollow who asked Lorelai questions about being a teen mom during what was supposed to be career day.
Kirk was also the internet guy, Mick, and the swan guy from the third episode. I like to imagine that Kirk was the youngest born in a set of identical triplets, so Mick and the swan guy are his brothers.
Hahaha I like that point of view. I don’t think they knew what they were doing with Kirk, which is in why later seasons people talk about how they’ve known him his entire life. I don’t think they knew they were going to keep him on but then they grew to love how his character developed into being “the guy that works everywhere.” It’s a staple part of the show for me 😂
Thanks. I agree but I recall reading somewhere that the writers didn't know what to do with his character, but it developed into him doing all these odd jobs.
I think they used the actor for something for a few background roles but then decided to give him his own character and stay with the whole multiple jobs concept
Seth MacFarlane (of Family Guy fame) plays one of the arguing graduates during Lorelai's graduation and is also the voice on her answering machine for Emily's lawyer when they want her to sit for a deposition
