Please check out Sunnyside. You would probably really enjoy based on the games you like. Farming life sim releasing June 14th. Also there is a free demo on steam :)

dyschronia

Wow, this hits on so many genres I like! Thank you for the rec! Have you played the demo yourself? What do you like about it?

TinaTalksGaming

I've been following development for years and have been playtesting because I backed the project on kickstarter. So many things I love about it. I actually have a youtube video on it of you're interested. Haven't made videos in over a year but might be getting back into it soon. This is not a plug I swear lol. It goes over the game and my thoughts in detail. Bit outdated now and I don't think I mention the vehicles but most of core elements still there. They have added combat since as well. It's so good I can't stop recommending it! [SunnySide Video](https://youtu.be/HLej5uGkT1A?si=uU-3EuC5q_95rduF)

Your video was so informative and I loved how enthusiastic you are about Sunnyside. I'll definitely be checking it out! I can't believe it releases soon!

TinaTalksGaming

Thanks so much! I honestly just love talking about games and helping people find games they might not know about! 4 years of development worth the wait for sure! I should mention June 14th it is early access release so bugs to be expected but dev team is awesome and the game feels pretty solid in its current state. Hope you enjoy it as much as I have been!

bafflingmetaphor

Have you tried ebi-hime's visual novels?

dyschronia

I have not! It looks like they have a lot?

bafflingmetaphor

She's very prolific, lol. There are a few otome ones (i think you can browse her work on steam and itch.io), but honestly *all* of her novels are so well-written that I've played a few that aren't usually my cup of tea.

dyschronia

This is good to know - I do love my dating sims but often let go of my writing standards, lol. I appreciate the rec!

Atalant

For a cosy sim game, I would recommend houseflippers(the original has more content, but I like the sequel's tools more), if you haven't played it already. It is both on steam and Switch(can't say about it work on Switch and Steamdeck, as I play it on PC).

dyschronia

I think I can play this through Steam Family do I'll try it out. Thank you!
