I mean, you don't face any consequences for it, so I can understand that it's either fun (for a match or two top though) or just advertising their cheats. As a dev myself it would be kind of interesting how long I'd get away with an aimbot.
It only gets sad when them cheating is just rage and the match will get invalidated when they get instantly banned anyway. But this obviously doesn't happen
I've written in a different post that while +20k rating lobbies are infested with spin bots, 10 to 20k rating lobbies are also infested with cheaters, but instead of spin bots, it's with wallhackers.
Also, it's not because they kill me. In any lobby in which I play with my 15k rating smurf I easily end up with +30 kills every single game (any decent lvl 10 can do this without breaking much of a sweat) but I still can distinguish someone who is wallhacking but unable to kill me simply because they belong in <5000 rating lobbies. And then ofc many closeted cheaters are also in my team.
Don't take my stating of my elo as a flex. take it as putting out there my credentials in relation to knowing how many cheaters I face per game in Premier.
it was obvious from day 1 that the whole leaderboard will be filled with cheaters. Now they actually have an extra motivation to hack - reach top100 and sell account for extra money

I actually just abandoned 3 games to get back to 20k and have been hovering between 19-21k since.
Just use premier for fun games now, dont sweat too much.
Valve should honestly just remove the Premier ladder. Theres no point of it except seeing which players that are obvious cheating. Or they could keep it and just ban the accounts of all top 20 players every month.
Early csgo also had a leaderboard that was botted to the brim and was removed after Valve gave up trying to fix the issue, wouldn't surprise me if they do the same for Premier
He never said that. He agrees that above 20k there are many cheaters. But on this reddit people cry on 10k that every game has a cheater because they saw streamer get them on 24k MMR and can't cope with losing games. From my personal experience when I got to 24k there were more games with cheaters than without. But since I stop going hard on the premier and drop to 21 it's only like every 5th game. It's bad and I had better experience in last year's od CSGO but I think it was only due to the trust factor.
Your anecdotal argument goes against factual stats. There are as many cheaters as there are legit players in lobbies ranging from 10 to 20k rating games, with the nuance that in these lower ratings most cheaters are using wall hack. From 20k and upwards it's basically aimbot vs aimbot every game. VAC is a fucking disgrace

20k-24k is like 20%-50% depending on day in my experience in EU Never got higher, i assume its worse.
How are u supposed to get higher? Every game is just a diceroll whether there’s at least one hacker and if he’s on your team, otherwise you lost
