Nice! Where do you get that? How is it sold? My guys spit everything I've tried out except green peas. I would like to give them more variety than just pellets and peas
It’s the green seaweed from omega one I found it at petco. It took them a second to realize it was food but once they did they now beg at the clip for it. It comes in a box with 24 sheets and I split them up into three pieces.
Really? I was going to ask if I could just feed them that but I thought I would sound stupid, lol. I tend to think human food/cat food/fish food best not to mix them up. Although my cat eats fish flakes and the fish won't, they like pellets. I will get the Nori and give it a try. Thanks!!
No prob. The post reminded me to pick some up myself. I literally just picked up ten full sheets (notebook paper sized) of Nori from Kroger for $3.29. It's just straight organic sushi wraps. It's baked to remove the water content. Do not feed fish the 'seaweed snacks' that come salted and/or flavored.
Lol, I have tried to Google this-should cats eat fish food, and all it ever comes up with is that yes, cats can eat fish. My girl MUST have a few flakes before she eats her food, it's like an appetizer. And I have to give her a few pellets when I feed the fish. I think the flakes are ok, but the pellets do have garlic in them. Just not enough to give her grief, thankfully.
Yep! He tears it up. They will beg for it. He goes up and will grab at it and shake his head like a dog. If you look on the package too it also says safe for fresh water fish. There is also seaweed in the food that I feed them.
pretty setup. 🫧🪴🐟
Thank you!

Great! I have a petco near me and will check it out. Thank you!
I hope they like it!
This is also what is used to wrap sushi in, so you can find it in some grocery stores (prob much cheaper I would guess). It's also called Nori.

My cat also loves my fish pellets for some reason. I have to make sure to keep them where he can’t get them or he will try to break them open.

Is it safe for calico gold fish?

I am just here to find out as well :)
I keep watching your video , beautiful fish.
Thank you!
Where did you get the clip?
I got it from petco. It is usually with the saltwater stuff. It’s the cheapest one and it doesn’t have any metal on it to rust which I like.
Mine make a terrible mess
They will too. They pick from the middle then some of it falls off but at least they chase it around and clean up after themselves 😂
