In all honesty I think you would be better off using a t.v. off to the side. Something similar to this

So I’ve been spending a lot of time doing research on short throw vs long throw. I’ve also been down the path of how many lumens is required but I’m still at a loss. The picture shows my current setup and I’m based in the UK. I will be using this outdoors mostly (I plan on building an enclosure for the projector so weather damage won’t be a problem).
My net is a Spornia SPG8 and I’ve purchased the white target screen 75” x 75” (106” diagonal or 269cm). I plan on floor mounting the projector on the right side close to where the shank net is. Unfortunately, I don’t have the indoor space for a sim setup. Ultimately I’d like to spend ~£300 or less on a used projector and I’ve seen a few on eBay. Would the Optoma EH415St (3600 lumens) be acceptable? Or possibly the Optoma EH341 (3500 lumens)?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
That’s crazy I just committed to doing something similar but indoors. I decided to go with a short throw against a wall directly behind a return net.

Works great
Just a hair under 8ft, I had to work up the courage to take the fan off the ceiling and give it a full swing. I can do a full follow through with my irons, jury still out on the driver. Mentally can’t get myself to follow through all the way. It’s like biting off your own finger.

That's pretty slick. Congrats!
Ok thanks. Makes sense. I’ll just use my iPad. Your setup looks nice
Thanks, it’s still a work in progress.

How high are those ceilings?

TV/Monitor screen is gonna be necessary during the day. You could get an inexpensive projector and use that when it's dark, tho.
Thanks for the input everyone. I’ll scrap the projector idea and just use my iPad on the side.
Youre not going to be able to see much especially during the day especially at that budget.
