It’s too bad that she wasn’t happy while making this show because she 100% looked the part and Jenny deserved better storylines. She had great moments on the show. I wish Taylor had a better time on this set.
Don’t know why you’re downvoted, you’re correct. The books, Jenny was curvy and had different hair and this version of Jenny on the show is basically Taylor Momsen 2.0
My top to girlfriends for Nate were Vanessa and Jenny and no one will change my minddd. Although I have to disagree a bit, Jenny had better chimestry with Nate than Vanessa did but Vanessa probably treated him better 😭
Yeah truee but I guess to me their chemistry was more like “this feels illegal because of blair and serena” and the age difference, so there was more tension, but that’s just me 🤷♀️ Maybe when I rewatch tho I’ll have a different opinion
I think it would've been soooo cunty if she got to do stuff like this where she shoves being on Nate's arm in the face of her pretentious, classist UES haters while maintaining a purely platonic/sibling-like relationship with him. It's giving "oh, Nate Archibald, the guy you'd kill to have? I could have him but I don't even want him."
Or if she was with him but stayed chill and didn't try to become Blair. Imagine the real social change if both Serena and Nate dated the Humphreys even though they were not UES.
she actually tried to stay chill when blair elected her the new queen, she even made a reunion to clarify what she wanted to change, she even helped nelly to come around and stop being bullied, but it wasnt what they wanted, she would never be respected
Jenny choosing to be queen came from fear of going back to being disrespected daily. After the she made the reunion to clarify, her minions turned her and called her a Brooklyn wannabe and little j 😭💀 Chuck also told her “you HAVE to be queen it wouldn’t be so bad and you were dying to be in this position in season 1” and because he couldn’t change the rules she decided to play the game 😭 and even afterwards she stated multiple times that the crown didn’t even make her happy and a part of her longed for her life before her dad married Lily and she became queen
Blair and Serena both had him obsessed at some points tho, more so than Jenny. But yeah the minions would’ve been so jealous, I’d love to see Jenny rub that in their faces so I agree
Same, I hated this dress and found it very underwhelming. Black colour is just not it for cotillion, and the shape is obnoxious. It didn’t give cotillion at all, I would probably not mind it for any other event tho.
I don’t think this dress fits for body, especially around the chest. And her hair looks fake and unhealthy. I never liked this look or her style in general, I think it’s so overrated.

There's an 1000% chance Jenny would have gotten an spin off if Taylor she had been interested in acting. Jenny (and us) could have had it all indeed!
I love Taylor Momsen but she doesn't look the part at all. In fact, she was so far away from the part they had to re-write the part to fit her in
